Jennifer Lopez Benny Medina

Jennifer Lopez‘s manager, Benny Medina, is the latest powerful Hollywood figure to be accused of sexual abuse. Actor Jason Dottley says Medina tried to rape him at his home in 2008.

The 36-year-old actor recalled the rapey incident in an article published by The Advocate on Friday, Nov. 10.

Dottley, who was 27 at the time, says he met Medina at The Abbey in West Hollywood in December of 2008 He said Medina invited him and a friend back to his mansion and gave him a personal tour of his upscale home.

Dottley, who is openly gay, said that’s when the tour took a wrong turn in Medina’s master bedroom.

“There was no ‘Do you want to see my bedroom?’ We literally got to the door and he grabbed me by the chest of my shirt and threw me onto his bed. Now I’m 6 foot tall and was 155 pounds, and this is a stocky strong man. We all have these things playing in our heads of what would we ever do if someone ever tried to do something, and none of my preplanned motions would work.”

Dottley said his friend burst into the room and interrupted the attempted rape. The actor said he told no one about the attempted rape because Medina is a powerful man in Hollywwod.

“I was emasculated, I was humiliated, and at that time, no one was coming forward and I was afraid if I went to the police or the press that Benny Medina was powerful enough to ruin both my career and my ex-husband’s.”

Medina, whose real name is Ahmad “Benny” Medina, began managing singer Lopez’s career in 1999. He remains her longtime manager.

As a teenager Medina performed in the R&B group Apollo on Motown Records.

  • xenaD

Damn. Harvey will be damned if he does not drag all these fools down with him

  • Lorenzo Chaps

Benny Medina, who’s surprised? Fun Fact: The Fresh Prince of Bel Air was based of his story/life. I’m not surprised at this though. So many guys with money and power plucking out guys they’d otherwise not approach or couldn’t entice with conversation alone.

I find it odd Terry Crews seems to be the only black guy who has come forward to say he was violated.

  • bemetoo

Really you were scared…i just don’t get it somebody tried to rape you like how did he pull your pants down and ruptured your anus???

  • The Goode Queen

I see Imma need to go to whole foods and buy some more tea. This is getting ugly.

  • NeverSurprised

Sandy, are you going to do a post on Phaedra Parks trying to fabricate a relationship with Shemar Moore, only to have him publicly call BS on her lies?

  • Vonn

Benny Medina is quite famous, why link Jennifer’s name to this story?

  • Chaseboogie The Prince

I find it even odder that no black women or should I say very few, have said as much.

  • Chaseboogie The Prince

Get the good tea! You know whole foods means whole check. LOL!

  • RICHIE_RICH

Whatever’s in the dark shall come to light!!! Hollywood Pandora box is wide open ?

  • NeverSurprised

We’ll see an avalanche of black guys claiming molestation if anyone ever starts talking about the rap industry. Unfortunately, I think any male victims in those cases are too frightened to come forward.

  • Jen_no_juice

It’s possible. I was almost raped in high school. It seemed like he had 5 hands because I was trying to fight him off while he was reaching down my pants. Attackers can be strong individuals

  • Jen_no_juice

It’s already hard for black actresses. They’re trying not to make it harder probably

  • http://sandrarose.com SandraRose

Lee Daniels is next. He’s probably sweating bricks.

  • http://sandrarose.com SandraRose

    Because he’s her manager?

  • http://sandrarose.com SandraRose

    Isn’t he gay?

  • Daryl Campbell

But, aren’t you emasculated by the very nature of being gay?

  • NeverSurprised

Yep, but on the DL. That didn’t stop her from trying to pretend he’s her “bae” (posting a year-old pic), until he did an interview on E! and said he only met her once in his life. She is so desperate for attention (and a job).

  • NeverSurprised

Chile, if Lee’s accusers ever start coming forward there will be no end to the deluge.

  • http://batman-news.com Roderick2011

    No, b!tch. Think again.

  • http://batman-news.com Roderick2011

Those downlow men are the worst.

  • NeverSurprised

Though Lupita did come forward with a story about Harvey trying to get her naked in his bedroom/ bathroom or something.

  • Daryl Campbell

Bitch made nigga it is! If you stop bending ova from being reemed your ass could figure it out!! Homo.

  • E-VannaRootsAllEvil

    And it begins

  • http://batman-news.com Roderick2011

    Try again.

Not all gay men engage in anal sex, but closet cases like you think more about gay sex than gays do.

  • ?Royalty?

    Pretty much. ??

  • Daryl Campbell

Nice try peter puffer, But I’m repulsed by all homo activities you gay boys punk out to.

  • Evillene

Benny Medina is not DL. He’s clearly a queen. Not that anyone bothered to notice.

  • RealATLPeach36

This shit is crazy! I don’t look at the news bc it’s so depressing. Now the gossip sites are the new, News.

I can’t this is just scary. My nerves are shot.

I’m looking at everyone side eye. White man in WholeFoods started a conversation with my son (he was one aisle over), getting his cereal. I hear my child scream STRANGER DANGER… I run ? over white guy looking confused. I said MF-er stay the F**k away or I’ll gut like a fish? .

I was loud scared nerves shot. The lady said she over react…BISH WHERE.. everyone has lost their mind and you better watch before I filet your ass!

Over react I’m unsure but better safe than sorry.

Oh my son is 8 years old ?????

  • INDUSTRY GURU

Interesting Auntie that in Black Entertainment, the black power brokers are worse.Straight and Gay.With alot Gays that can make and break careers forcing them selves on young straight new comers.

From televison like Bet, to labels like Motown, to individual movie producers, to label executives…..remember Africa Bimbatta….things like what he did being a serial preditor are common place in “black industry” going back decades. There are alot or Chris Stokes types as well.

In Black Industry, nobody cares, nobody gets arrested and most never tell.

  • Evillene

A man is still a man even when he’s bent over and taking it up the @ss. And ANY straight man can be a bitch nigga depending on how he lives — i.e whether he takes care of his family and how he treats the people in his life.

  • Daryl Campbell

    Agreed!

  • Evillene

There’s nothing wrong with consensual sex between adults — just ask Gabrielle Union.

  • Nhere

He needs to chill. This ain’t the time for pulling that type of stunt on camera.

  • Daryl Campbell

Emasculated, is the operative word here. It can be derived from both ways….

  • Vonn

So what, she didn’t assist with the rape. This does fall in line with your style of writing though.

  • http://batman-news.com Roderick2011

Yet it stays on YOUR mind.

  • Evillene

This one is a little fuzzy. You’re a gay adult male, you meet a gay dude at a gay bar and you willingly go to the guy’s house even though he is a complete stranger. The guy is giving you a tour and makes a physical advance because he reasonably assumed you came to get down. You extricate yourself but say it was attempted rape because. . .he’s black, famous and wealthy?

  • klwbaby

I remember Chris Stokes. Did anything happen to him because all I can recall was people saying that Raz-b has a mental disorder or he was upset because his career was over.

  • Daryl Campbell

No. I’m defending my natural argument. Damn….

  • Evillene

I don’t think men are “emasculated” by being gay but I suppose masculinity is all about perception. If you believe it is emasculating to be a gay bottom then I guess it would be for you.

  • ?E?E?M?A

    Lol it’s a doggy world

  • Daryl Campbell

There seems to be a case of gay lunacy here. Let me end this by simply stating my opinion for the last time.
    Being Gay = Emasculated Male.
    Kindergarten arithmetic!!!

  • i troll it like i see it

I hope everyone in Hollywood gets exposed! Free yourselves everyone who has been violated, now is the time! Get it off your chest!

  • Django the God

    J. Lo is glowing here.

  • Well$$Well$$?

If we were talking about a woman would you say well if you wouldn’t have done xyz you wouldn’t have been raped? Its his body. If he dtf and changed his mind that’s his prerogative. No means no.

  • klwbaby

From what he said, I don’t think he thought of it as a potential sexual hook up. He probably was star struck and figured he will be nice and accept his offer and maybe Benny can be his connection in the entertainment industry.

  • OP2

Why do you think that they created all of these juvenile detention centers or for-profit jails and prisons to mass incarcerate Black males where they would be violated (raped) and emasculated? Who created and encouraged this behavior or jail culture from the get-go knowing such behavior was/is such a taboo for Blacks? ijs

  • pure_rachet

Once, we couldn’t find my 7year old little bro at some high end dept store. Finally found him with an old white dude buying him a rice krispy treat dipped in chocolate. It seemed really off.

  • OP2

Perhaps, he knew this man from afar as a major record producer and thought this was his chance to make a career connection. -not knowing the industry is full of filthy pigs (pedophiles & rapists) who abuse their position by violating victims and making them feel vulnerable and powerless.

  • TheOwley

I think this is a more plausible explanation. Perhaps Medina expected reciprocity and it didn’t happen. Unwanted groping is groping no matter who is doing it.

  • TheOwley

Remember when the chihuahua said in the commercial said “oh oh, I think I need a bigger box.” The LA County prosecutor’s office is putting a new task force together because they are going to need a bigger box to catch this Godzilla monster running down the entertainment industry. There are so many allegations it needs its own jurisdictional designation for filings, investigations, and prosecutions. Short of murder, entertainment has never really been subject to law enforcement rules.

    http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-da-sexual-task-force-prosecutors-20171109-story.html

  • pure_rachet

I don’t know much about gay guys (actually nothing) so for the ones that don’t do anal, what do they do? I swear, no shade, I just don’t know and I’m curious

  • KcoolMuziq

Not if they’re black. It’s too much of a stigma to it. Especially if your a black male in the industry. Which is why I will NEVER confess.

  • pure_rachet

    Sometimes you make me chuckle

  • OP2

Um, people have been talking about the hiphop/rap industry for many years already. lol Let’s not pretend that the Black male entertainers did not create or promote the saggin’ pants (aka prison look to expose back ends) in order to condition the minds of Black males to be okay with Step 2 of their agenda. -being violated by other males via jails and prisons, gangs and industry.

Now, the only Blacks who are promoted on the charts with music contracts are those who gave a questionable behavior or that look we are seeing now.

  • Li

One gay man raping (assaulting) another gay man….hilarious….and everybody knows Bennie is Gay. It was alleged whispered even that he was humping Casper Smart, Jlo’s escort boyfriend.

  • TheOwley

Lots of stuff on the gossip site is actually turning out to be true, and shame on the news media for not paying close attention. NBC passed on the Weinstein story, yet gossip sites have been talking about misdeeds like his forever. It forces one to be more vigilant and weary about people.

  • nick c

Dang you not reporting charlie sheen raping corey haim? That was huge today.

  • You Could Never

Benny Medina in the group Apollo still the gayest shit I’ve ever seen old school. Those high kicks and hip shimmies still live on

    https://youtu.be/OERAATr8ZVE

Bonus is dude on left is Berry Gordy son Kerry

  • pure_rachet

and if you are scared you can’t seem to do anything right almost like running underwater.

  • Evillene

yes, I agree. I read a fuller account of the event as described by the actor and it was definitely attempted rape. Auntie’s description is lacking critical details.

  • Daryl Campbell

True. Such behavior was totally unmentionable. Personally I think that food & beverages have been compromised in many urban communities. Talipia being a prime example it’s estrogen levels are through the roof, did your grandparents serve this fish in the seventies? This bombardment is from all directions and platforms, as well as the desire for some to forsake heritage and assimilate.

  • bella28498 .

    lmao….. ppl are letting the d i c k s out the bag.

  • JRock

I have two questions since someone mentioned JLo and Casper.

JLo and the unfriendly looking ghost named Casper supposedly dated for about 3 years.

Question 1: Was he a beard dating Benny all that time?

Question 2: If he was just a beard was he covering for JLo and ARod all that time?

The reason I say that is supposedly two months after getting out of a nearly 3 year relationship with Casper the boo boo bear she starts dating ARod, introduces him to her mother and kids. Who does that after only two months? We all know she is a desperate and insecure chick but that’s a little too soon even for her. I’m thinking her and ARod were dating much longer than she said and the ghost was the beard for them while banging Benny. What y’all think?

  • NeverSurprised

But Corey’s Mama said: “Uh uh, Charlie wasn’t the one who did the deed.” She says it was someone else.

  • RealATLPeach36

    See….guy like a fish

  • Zeta Phi Beta 1920

I believe it. Everyone knows abt Benny.

  • Missy

he only met her once in his life.

… & tht was on WWHL on bravo.?

  • Missy

It seemed like he had 5 hands

Tht statemnt gave me chills. Sorry tht happened to you.

  • Chaseboogie The Prince

Yeah, but if they are getting raped, harassed and assaulted, then they should speak up. If not, the pervs will just harass our women because they know we won’t speak up, or assume we will do anything for the job. Our people need to speak up too. I’m sure this isn’t just happening to white women, and Terry Crews.

  • RICHIE_RICH

??????????????????????????????????? ????? let me be quiet ? cause I? ain’t the one to gossip ????

  • RICHIE_RICH

Got a whole boyfriend in Dallas for over 20 Plus years quiet ????????????

  • Vonn

Whattttt?? If he does Shemar better keep him happy. 20 years sounds like a lot of receipts.

  • the guest

I believe Charlie Sheen did it. Corey’s mom probably got a call and check from Charlie’s people.

  • the guest

These are sick crazy times we live in, parents have to over react and over protect.

  • Phyllis

Another day another accusation… Smh!!!!! ?????

  • You Could Never

Remember when Charlie said folks were extorting him. He said extortion. But he was paying folks. Reason he came out. I think he was paying Corey and his mama.

She still getting paid. Comes to find out, Corey and Charlie hooked up, one more time. With Corey as a grown man the story said. Not a minor.

What if Corey contracted Charlies AIDS and didn’t die of pneumonia? Wouldn’t his MOM want to advertise that?

All makes sense to me now

  • NeverSurprised

I thought so too, but Terry Crews not only came forward, but is now suing the white exec whom he claims grabbed his package. If he can come forward, perhaps other black men will as well.

  • NeverSurprised

By “talking about”, I mean NAMING NAMES. Are young black men going to start coming forward and publicly reveal what someone like a Diddy or a Jay Z or similarly powerful black moguls did to them? Because we all know the casting couch in rap music is every bit as stained as the one in Hollywood. Will they speak now, or, out of fear, continue to protect the guilty?

  • NeverSurprised

I see what you did there. A quick dragging, then ended with a swift drop kick. Concise, yet quite effective.

  • KcoolMuziq

Terry Crews situation is different. Because he is outing a white executive. I’m only referring to situations that have another mainly black man doing the assaulting. It’s WAY more complicated when it’s black male on male.

  • jeniefrumdabloc™

When that shyt broke about Charlie and Sandra had the story …. Chile Charlie ain’t shyt and been paying folks for eons…. This mother truly ain’t shyt … And still trying to get money off her sons name

  • Naka Okuma

Is all holloweird gay? What is happening? Sodom and gommorah coming right back before our eyes!! I don’t wanna be consumed by no fire.

  • Li

Not a bad group. I think Kerry is a Motown exec; right?

  • Li

The question is will Jlo drop Benny? She seems to be steadfast loyal through scandal and everything. She really owes her career to him. He’s even the exec producer of her TV show(s).

  • NeverSurprised

Under normal circumstances I would say you were right. But there’s nothing normal about what we’re seeing right now. Incredibly powerful men are falling like dominos, and it’s making the little guy feel empowered. I agree that the black-on-black thing will complicate matters, but I think Sandra is right, a black male on the level of a Lee Daniels is going to be next.

  • NeverSurprised

She won’t drop him, not on the strength of one accuser. If more come forward, with stories of ACTUAL ( not attempted) rapes, then she may have no choice.

  • Marlika

I’m starting to wonder how much of this is true and how much is false in general with all these allegations. It’s like people are sitting around and seeing which celebs to target. ? Now don’t get me wrong I believe this crap is happening in Hollywood, but I’m starting to wonder how many people are just jumping on the band wagon because they know no one will question the accusations at this point. Cause at this point if someone is claiming a high profile celebrity sexually harrasssed or raped them the public automatically believes them and that’s it. ?????

  • HalleMerry

So,if your a gay male you can’t be sexually assaulted? Your thinking is a part of the problem.

  • Marlika

Who ever has on the white pants has a mean 2 step in the beginning. ????

  • KcoolMuziq

I think Casper was more into transgenders.

  • KcoolMuziq

    I know I won’t be participating.

  • http://www.missjhaneuniverse.com Monday

The media is really afraid to really speak on Charlie Sheen. I read some of Denise Richards disposition. He’s not afraid to have his own kids killed. I think Corey Haim just denies as it was hard enough to have her son killed, she just wants to be left alone.

  • http://www.missjhaneuniverse.com Monday

In Canada we have celebs rat on each other as well. One very famous Eric Salvail (a producer, tv host etc) who is openly gay is being accused of harrasment

  • Renee26

He looks like the “Damon” type too… a big gay man who’s likes to dominate his conquests…. good thing his friend was there

  • NeverSurprised

    Yep.

  • NeverSurprised

Well, didn’t Celine Dion’s late husband start sleeping with her when she was around 14? I know for years that was the rumor in Canada.

  • Overpower Radio

News like this is gonna start making the victims who want to come forward harder to believe.

  • Renee26

So my mind is thinking Benny is an offender continuing the cycle: Motown… Barry G and his gay son hmmmm could MJ been violated as a sacrifice for fame… we all know of those allegations and the close relationships he had with many male child stars…. young Benny may have been violated for that fame too and he continued the cycle. IJS this guy came forward so we shall see who’s else comes forth. I wonder about Will and Usher now too… both were kinda fem at one point and U said he was sexually active at the young age of 13 when he was asked about that provocative break out song. Will has been rumored to be a swinger and Usher has been accused of being reckless with the D so he’s probably impulsive …Diddy is connected to this guy and has been putting young talent on for decades, could he also be part of this aggressive ring of violators too? IJS he’s been rumored bi sexual for years too and I still think he was the “icon” Superhead wrote about in her book, the one who wanted her to do anal on him… so often the early sexual experiences people have form their whole outlook on sex. There’s probably soooo many who have been affected by this cycle of sexual assault and harassment in black Hollywood but not many will come forward… for different reasons. Hell this guys black friend was DOWN to get down (that’s why they went to the house) proof that some who are put in these positions may go along willingly and others won’t

  • VanillaCaramel2shotsExpresso

Corey Haims own mother denies it and names someone else . So it’s iffy….

  • Bossy704

I believe everyone coming forward (except for the guy from Shark Tank’s girlfriend). It is hard for victims, especially folks that are known, to admit to being assaulted. There really seems to be a movement to end this in Hollywood. No one wants to admit that they were sexually assaulted and these folks aren’t asking for money. Hopefully, the next generation of entertainers will have it easier in this regard because we have all seen the damage growing up famous has done to young people and there has to be something damaging going on.

  • NeverSurprised

Welp, I’m gonna start the morning off with some truth. Everyone knows that, generally speaking, gay men have a different moral standard than the rest of us. They can meet a complete stranger in a bar and grab his package within 5 minutes of meeting, and consider it “normal”.They have anonymous sex in nasty public bathrooms, at gas stations, in public parks, etc. ANAL SEX IS THEIR RELIGION, their “morality.” No, not EVERY gay man, but enough to make it “normal” in their world.

So Im not buying this newfound morality where they are suddenly feeling “emasculated” ( lol, really?) when they are in a man’s BEDROOM and that man wants to sleep with them. I’m not saying an adult gay man isn’t CAPABLE of being raped, I’m saying if it is a question of sex with a rich man who can advance their career, they are generally going to be willing participants.

By the way, where is Chicagiwise in this discussion. He has given us all kinds of insider info on the strange world of male “gaydom”, so I would love to hear his take on all this.

Anybody wh has a problem with my comment, bash away. I’m going to have some breakfast and wait for the next Hollywood icon to fall.

  • NeverSurprised

    “Is all holloweird gay? “
    *******************

Yep, just about. Always has been. I mean, some of Hollywood’s biggest sex symbols have been gay. Cary Grant ( on the DL), Rock Hudson. Even that all-American dad Mike Brady, patriarch of the Brady Bunch, was gay. Lol.

People want to believe the perfect images that Hillywood creates, but it’s always been smoke and mirrors.

  • Junkanoo

Richard Dreyfuss is now also being accused of exposing himself in the 80s. This is all an open secret the sexual abuse in Hollywood but we have all ignored it and tuned in religiously for our favorite tv shows and enjoyed countless movies. Hollywood allowed this toxic environment to fester without addressing it an the media which is equally as guilty. None of this is shocking to me these issues should have been faced decades ago to help prevent more and more victims but thats what happens when you value money above all else. The pedos and predators have gotten away with too much crap .

  • Daryl Campbell

    Yes, you’re very observant.

  • Daryl Campbell

Well stated, let me suggest the soul kitchen labrea @ Manchester

  • bhavana

Not all of us were aware of the sexual abuse that was going on. I heard about Kevin Spacey, but the others were a surprise.

  • bhavana

Yeah, it seems like if you didn’t like someone for whatever reason, you could claim sexual harassment/rape and totally ruin someone’s career.

  • bhavana

Anything is possible in Hollywood, but why would JLo Ned to play games like that?

  • freelancepimp .

Something tells me its all set up by her publicist anyway.

  • Junkanoo

The media/news is weird they focus on who’s in the headlines mean while many are guilty of doing the same .The floodgates have now open this is going to continue deep into 2018

  • Ms Thang

I didn’t turn my head because I didn’t know. I was molested as a kid and could never turn a blind eye to sexual assault. The bad thing about all of this is that I never told my man about about any of this.

  • NeverSurprised

“…I never told my man about any of this.”

I don’t mean to be intrusive, but may I ask why not? Is it because it’s so painful a memory that it’s just easier to bury it deep away and never resurrect it? Also, was the person who molested you ever tried and punished?

  • Junkanoo

The media knew and so did Hollywood. That’s the healing aspect of all this secrets don’t have to remain hidden there burdensome or cause anyone to feel shame. Talk to your man and release this what did you do wrong? Some folks can work painful personal issues out and not mention it to anyone.Sounds like you want to talk with him about it,please do it’s good that so many victims are speaking up.

  • http://batman-news.com Roderick2011

Keep believing that only gays have random sex, hun.

    Sleep well with your fantasies.

  • http://batman-news.com Roderick2011

Yet straight couple engage in anal, rimming and oral.

BTW why do feel the need to upvote yourself.

  • JRock

It’s JLo that’s why. This is not the brightest apple from the tree when it comes to men and dating. I have heard that she is very clingy and dependent and expect men to marry her like right away. ARod on the other hand is known for banging and dropping them so JLo probably had to tred very lightly with him if she didn’t want to scare him away, hence the beard Casper that no one think anything of with him and Benny around her everyday. Benny and Casper could do the bang-lo and she could try to quietly develop a serious relationship with Arod.

  • Marlika

Yes and this has been going on forever.

  • JRock

“Barry G and his gay son hmmmm could MJ been violated as a sacrifice for fame… ”

Yes, Joe Jackson probably said here “take him” and make sure you spell my name correctly on the check. No offense but it happens that way a lot of times to kids whose parents are trying to get fame they never could achieve on their own and use their kids to achieve it.

  • Anunnaki

So sad u went thru that, this is y I try to stay out of these kinda post, they make my dam blood boil,I say Kill’em all, my child went thru this as well.. i cant handle stuff like this, and not want to retaliate. How are u mentally holding up

  • Daryl Campbell

Look, Roderick 20- whatever you are not worth this back and forth discussion; Ok. Go and entertain your gay friends with your 2 bit gay psyche.

Besides a Man pleases his WOMEN or WOMBMAN BY MANY FORMS, Not by some low desire sex act promulgated by homosexuals. Now good day I’m done with you….. I’ll up vote myself.
Now skip your gay ass elsewhere!!!!!

  • http://batman-news.com Roderick2011

    No one else will.

    Pathetic.

  • Karen Brady

    I sure didn’t.

  • Karen Brady

same here. maybe oral or just spoon and touch?

  • che’lint

So Cyn Santana was talking about JLO, not Niki ?

  • Karen Brady

ruptured your anus..too damn graphic for me this morning. let me go rustle up something to eat chile. I love ya’ll.

  • Karen Brady

    This.

  • Karen Brady

Exactly. Like all energy just slips out of your body and you’re drowning and MAD AS FUKKKKKK!!.

  • KHJ2016

So he threw him on the bed and it was attempted rape? Did he try to rip your clothes off while you’re telling him no and to stop? The way he told the story it sounded like they went in the bedroom and Benny took off the guys shirt, so at what point would it have been rape?

  • Pnthr

I’ve never heard of grown men being concerned about being raped and rehearsing what they’d do if faces with it.

  • Pnthr

But you’re on a gossip website? I don’t know any straight men who read gossip blogs. That sounds emasculating. I also don’t know any straight men who are so aggressive and angry towards gays. You definitely sound repressed and closeted.

  • NeverSurprised

Where did I say ONLY gays have random sex. I said it’s an ACCEPTED and WIDESPREAD part of gay male culture, and you know it is. Other than female prostitutes, you would be hard pressed to find a woman who would be willing to let a complete stranger walk into a public restroom and start having sex with her, without even exchanging names. But it has happened among gay men for years, and always will.

Denial isn’t just a river in Africa, hun.

  • Scromes1212

Where do you live? Random sex is the norm for straight folks and gay folks smh gay men didn’t start that lol it just may not be your personal experience. No disrespect I’m just saying this ain’t new.

  • Pnthr

While true for a lot of them, you can’t generalize all of them. Now if somebody said all black women are ghetto promiscuous single mothers who have multiple children by multiple men you all would be outraged.

  • NeverSurprised

It became “almost rape” when he realized he could get some exposure and sympathy now that ACTUAL victims are coming forward.

  • Pnthr

Women do it all the time too. You can’t assume anybody wants sex. It has to be consensual. Not that I believe this fella but in general.

What a mess! America is crumbling right before our eyes. The world is laughing at us. Welp, all great civilizations eventually come to an end. We had a good run.

Oan: If you’re bored, go to Tyrese ig page. He has posted some medication he supposedly stopped taking. Somebody commented ‘close all your social media, we tired of you.’ I hollerd ?.

America been had problems smh they had this thing they did called the slave trade. I’m sure they thought the sky was falling then. This is a human problem, it doesn’t just apply to America. JS

  • NeverSurprised

    See this sentence right “chere”:

“No, not EVERY gay man, but enough to make it “normal” in their world.”

That’s my acknowledgement that not ALL gay men live this lifestyle. But I’ve lived in NY for over 30 years, partied endlessly during the club era and have always had many gay male friends. It is black letter law that promiscuity has ALWAYS been a big part of gay male culture. Are we going to suddenly start pretending that it isn’t just for the sake of being PC?

  • Ni Ni

Reminds self: Don’t speak to strange children.

I somewhat understand where you coming from. There was a case in the news recently about some kids saying that a black older man was following them. They found out the kids lied, wrote a note and put it in the mailbox saying that the man wrote it. I quit following the story because it was just weird. But everyone is not out to get you. You might need to keep your kids right beside you at all times if you’re that scared. I’d hate for an innocent person’s reputation to be ruined. There’s little hope in regaining it once its ruined.

  • NeverSurprised

I will repeat my question from above: How many straight women would enter a public restroom on the I-90 and while inside, allow a complete stranger to enter that same filthy bathroom, bend her over and start having sex with her without exchanging a word? I am sure there are prostitutes who might do so, but not the AVERAGE heterosexual woman. Many ( not all but a great many) gay men, conversely, go to such locations SPECIFICALLY looking for such encounters.

  • OP2

Um, aren’t those are powerful rappers connected to gangs who can easily take out those young Black men starving for ca$h? Those poor black males are in a vulnerable position unlike the wealthier white men and women with enough ca$h invested to sustain them should they become black balled. -things to considered.

Much like the shootings that often occur at rap concerts or events, we know the hood or gangs can be ruthless in intimidating and coming after those Blacks males who decided to talk or out names about also being raped by Black men in the industry.

  • OP2

For real! Some of us have caught on to all of these estrogen-laden foods and products. Did you get your free flu shot today? lol

  • Pnthr

But you still can’t say it’s “normal” or the “moral standard” in their world. If a white man said having 3 kids and 3 baby daddys was the normal moral standard for black women, how would you feel?

Nope we don’t have to be PC because I agree that a lot of them are that way but a lot aren’t. I would be offended if someone made sweeping generalizations about blacks that way. If we want respect we have to give it too.

  • Scromes1212

I don’t know much about gay men but I know it’s plenty females that will let a dude smash on the first night. Because we had a conversation that makes its more acceptable lol? It’s all random sex. Don’t see how that makes the gay male culture any worse or better then normal 2017 culture.

  • kennedy campbell

i think you interpreted it as him saying what he would do if ever raped..i interpreted it as what we would do in any situation..people are always “if it had been me, i would have….” i was jumped once by a gang of men that robbed me and all the i would have done this and that also erased from my head as it was happening.

  • Kayke

I do know plenty of men that are very pop culture and into “gossip”…. Don’t act like the barber shop wasn’t the spot for all the rumors, lastest news, thanks going on near and far.

  • Anji

As a former actor who has always spoken out, I too am questioning some claims. It’s sad because all victims want to be believed, need to be believed, but the numbers and the human factors for vengeful false allegations is there also.

  • Anji

No, not at all. Hollywood is a microcosm of society. Understand right now we’re observing a segment of celebrities in the top 3 percent of unionized actors. Most actors have second gigs. A lot of what we see now are those who chose to trade their dignity for fame and continued work. Not all but some. I’ve been in entertainment for 50 years and gays are heavily represented in the arts, but not so much more than in society at large. Most predators in Hollywood are straight and perverted.

  • Ebony Starr

Just like it did with the Catholic church, schools, sports and everywhere that there are vulnerable children. It took everything in me not to go off on a friend who said, but I like Kevin Spacey. She had a million whys for the victim, but nothing for the fact that Kevin never denied it!

  • Nathan Hastings

    Money grab

  • NeverSurprised

Time for a little honest education here.

I say that promiscuity and anonymous sex are normal within gay culture because THEY say it is. Gay writer Boris Abrams wrote “The Historical Importance Of Anonymous Gay Sex.” In it he writes about why gay men routinely leave gay clubs with men whose names they dont know, have sex, and wake up STILL not knowing their names. He writes:

“We should feel no shame when engaging in these behaviors. Rather, we should feel community, camaraderie, and unity.”
    He further writes:

“Go anywhere, pull out a cellphone, and dozens of men can be found waiting….It used to happen in bathhouses and theaters, in parks and in subways. Now, it happens from within the confines of our home. The venues have changed yet the performance remains. This is our fairytale …. This is all we know. There is no Prince Charming, no Cinderella to pursue. There are no formalities of courtship, just glory-holes and physical statistics. …we continue to strengthen a sexual culture that is unique to OUR IDENTITY [emphasis added] because to operate against this is to divorce ourselves from a gay past.”

    https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/the-historical-importance-of-anonymous-gay-sex_us_59ce738be4b0f58902e5cbbe

It is a fascinating piece. We want to pretend that gay men are just like everyone else, but Abrams is painfully honest in pointing out that they aren’t. He describes his own anonymous sexual encounters and cites the research of Dr. David M. Frost, who proves that the behavior is an intrinsic part of gay life. As Abrams clearly states, for gay men,

“Sex is the essence of our being. First dates involve technical discussions of who tops and who bottoms? Countless websites are dedicated to our insatiable appetite for sex. … Anonymous gay sex has never been so easy. These markets thrive for the gay community for a reason.”

And I would conclude by saying, by their own admission, it is an historical FACT that for gay men anonymous, promiscuous, dangerous sex with strangers is NORMAL. For that reason, I do not believe Medina’s accuser.

  • Evillene

How do you non-homosexual folks presume to know so much about “gay male culture”? TV? The Bible?

  • GuestSTAR

Last week a 95 year old actress came out and said, she to was harrassed. I was like geeez, SMH.

  • NeverSurprised

I realize that for people unfamiliar with gay culture, you would incorrectly think that gay sexual lifestyle is similar to that of a woman who lets you sleep with her on the first night. It isn’t. Read gay writer Boris Abrams’ piece called “The Historical Importance Of Anonymous Gay Sex.” He stresses that for gay men, such behavior is an intrinsic part of who they are.

“We should feel no shame when engaging in these behaviors. Rather, we should feel community, camaraderie, and unity.”

    ***
“This is all we know. There is no Prince Charming, no Cinderella to pursue. There are no formalities of courtship, just glory-holes and physical statistics. …we continue to strengthen a sexual culture that is unique to OUR IDENTITY [emphasis added].”

    https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/the-historical-importance-of-anonymous-gay-sex_us_59ce738be4b0f58902e5cbbe

How many women do you know who actually sleep with men without even knowing their names? And how many women believe that sex with strangers makes them feel a sense of “community, camaraderie, and unity.” It is ridiculous to equate the lifestyles of gay men and that of even the average promiscuous woman. When they say their sexual culture is unique to THEIR identity, we would be well advised to believe them.

  • Daryl Campbell

I don’t care who you know or don’t know. Furthermore your thoughts & opinions are moot to me. FDH!

  • Daryl Campbell

Actually I got mine a month ago.

  • NeverSurprised

Well, there’s a little thing called education that I find works quite well. Gay writer Boris Abrams wrote “The Historical Importance Of Anonymous Gay Sex.” where he delves into the subject in honest detail. I am not saying anything that the GAY writer HIMSELF has not said and that researcher papers have supported — promiscuous, anonymous sex is an intrinsic part of gay culture.

Raise your hand if you have NOT been sexually assaulted. Looks like the closets are brimming over with victims.

  • dontgetblocked

    I found that odd too.

  • dontgetblocked

I agree. I think grown azz men saying they were almost raped or had their crotch grabbed takes away from women who were actually raped. Terry Crews old azz is filing a police report because someone gave him a wedgie. Actresses are complaining because someone said something that hurt their feelings. It’s all turned into a joke.

  • Pnthr

So sassy. Alright I see you sis ?

  • Pnthr

    Ok.

  • Pnthr

A barbershop is full of men chilling and talking, mostly about women and which female celebs they’re into. Not the same. I don’t know many men who sit around and are curious about what Blac Chyna is up to or what Jlo wore this week to Good Morning America.

  • Pnthr

    Good point.

  • Passion

For goodness sakes things is getting crazy, will it ever stop! Looks like every man in Hollywood is being accused of some type of sexual assault.

  • Mrs. S. Kidd

Benny Medina has an interesting autobiography/life. He hopped from one rich person’s couch to the next because he didn’t want to go back into the foster system. None of these rich families ever formally adopted him but allowed him to live with them for years….which I’m pretty sure is illegal. Who knows what may have happened to him in those years couch hopping around Beverly Hills….

  • http://batman-news.com Roderick2011

What does the place have to do with anything?

Most of those men are in the closet and probably married so yes they have sex in public restrooms because they can’t invite a man back to their places.

  • Daryl Campbell

    Yeah I got your sis!!

Yeah, but that kind of stuff really does go down in Hollywood. I don’t know if I believe Dottley though, but who knows for sure?

Shemar (whom I sat next to at an award show once) is a VERY nice person with no ego whatsoever.
I will say he was ALL over Phaedra on an episode of ‘Whats Happening Now’ hosted by Andy Cohen.Which he now says was fabricated because they were tipsy.

  • KcoolMuziq

That wasn’t a year old pic. They were Andy Cohen’s guest on his talk show a couple of months ago.

  • Junkanoo

its all apart of a bigger process these things had to be exposed we have a lot of hard truths to face

  • Junkanoo

There a number of folks defending him on his facebook page ,sad lot. I learned from watching unsung a lot of talented people are great at their craft ,stand out talent but not so nice in their personal life. It is amazing the Catholic church is still standing after all the abuse they’ve allowed, we never hear about the victims of sex abuse by the Catholic in the Caribbean or South and Central America the focus is usually on white Americans

  • Scromes1212

Sorry lol I’m not reading a book on gay sex. All I know is I probably seen 20 female hookers on my way home last night and 20 dollars will get you anything you want lol sex with strangers is sex with strangers smh plus I know plenty hoes that will have sex with anything for free. And that culture has been going on since the beginning of time, literally. I’m sure the percentage of gay hoes is the same as straight hoes lol in my humble opinion

  • Applebum

Everything you’ve said is correct. Some of these people are in serious denial. Gay men are very promiscuous. There’s a glory hole in most adult bookstores, etc. There’s a reason why gay men has the highest HIV statistic rates.

  • Pnthr

    * Two snaps in Z formation * Yaaass queen live your truth!!

  • Daryl Campbell

    Fags are so bothersome!

  • Applebum

It’s great that everyone’s being exposed but it will not changed anything. It’s the system that needs to be broken. It’s bigger than you know. The elitists are part of the satanic ritual abuse (SRA) occult. It’s part of their beliefs, research their bible, research the people who’s work they’ve studied, Aleister Crowley, etc. It’s a sick demonic empire.

  • NeverSurprised

    Correct.

  • NeverSurprised

You’re right, it isn’t the location. It’s the burning desire to have sex with strangers anywhere they can find it. Again, from the pen of a GAY man writing about the importance of random, anonymous sex in GAY culture:

“Go anywhere, pull out a cellphone, and dozens of men can be found waiting….It used to happen in bathhouses and theaters, in parks and in subways. Now, it happens from within the confines of our home. The venues have changed yet the performance remains. This is our fairytale …. THIS IS ALL WE KNOW [emphasis added]. There is no Prince Charming, no Cinderella to pursue. There are no formalities of courtship, just glory-holes and physical statistics. …we continue to strengthen a sexual culture that is unique to OUR IDENTITY [emphasis added]…

This is a GAY man writing about how important random, anonymous sex is in GAY culture. He also says GAY men shouldn’t be ashamed of this behavior: “We should feel no shame when engaging in these behaviors. Rather, we should feel community, camaraderie, and unity.”

    https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/the-historical-importance-of-anonymous-gay-sex_us_59ce738be4b0f58902e5cbbe

How exactly am I wrong in pointing out this lifestyle when gay men themselves own up to this behavior?

  • NeverSurprised

Excuse me. I didn’t realize that you socialized with such low class women. I am not talking about hookers. I am talking about the average black woman and the average gay man, and there is NO moral equivalency between the two.

I’m not surprised you don’t want to actually get the FACTS, from a GAY source. You would rather walk around with your head tucked cimfortably in your ass, believing the average black woman is taking strangers home to have sex with them, as gay men admit to HISTORICALLY doing.

  • Lorenzo Chaps

    yep, I agree.

  • Jahnée Gill Mr.Eddie Murphy??

Stop! This isn’t for you to understand which is why you don’t get it. America is on its last leg. It’s going to fall like all the other so called great empires before it. • imasaneperson

Yes sexual harassment is bad and the harasser’s should be punished. Totally agree with that wholeheartedly. But I thought we lived in a country where you were given the presumption of innocence until proven guilty, in order to protect the innocent. Goddamn now it seems like as soon as someone makes an allegation everyone just jumps to the conclusion that the alleged perpetrator is guilty. That is very unwise.

  • NeverSurprised

Uh, Slavery existed for centuries BEFORE the formation of America, dating back to at least as early as Mesopotamia in 3500BC. It existed in every ancient culture before finally making its way here during the Atlantic Slave Trade, so why would anyone have thought the “ sky was falling” when slaves were imported to this country?

  • NeverSurprised

  • Scromes1212

You want me to grasp your YouTube knowledge lol

  • Scromes1212

So one person writes it in a book and now it’s a historical fact? And I said hookers and regular females. Not just hookers. You just live in a environment where you don’t see it. That don’t mean it ain’t happening. And I never once brought up race, you did. Not one of my comments said “black woman”. Your just seeing what you want to see.

  • Daryl Campbell

I know; But working in a correctional Facility it’s the lesser of many evils….. I hope.

  • NeverSurprised

I am fluent in English. You said America “had this thing they did called the slave trade. I’m sure they thought the sky was falling then.” Why would Americans or anyone else think the sky was falling because of slavery, when everyone knew that slavery had already existed around the globe for centuries?

  • NeverSurprised

I have a wonderful life, thanks. And I was quoting a GAY writer, so it is you poor, pathetic, lonely creatures who need to find meaningful lives. You want to argue with me about what? I merely quoted what a GAY man revealed about your pathetic, disgusting lifestyles, opening your doors and your @ssholes, to any stranger willing to give you a brief moment of his time. As the GAY writer said, “it is all you know.”

Again, I didn’t say it, the GAY author did. So direct your anger at your own folks, hun, or at the man in the mirror.

  • NeverSurprised

It isn’t one person. There are countless studies on gay male sexual behavior and how it is distinguished from that of normal society, but since you acknowledge that you don’t read, it’s a moot point.

Humph on another blog crazy days they did a blind item and it’s about a pedo ring that a lot of wealthy ppl participate in on an island ppl from all over including the Hollywood folks fly there to have all sorts of underage and gay sec in that blind item it was said that there was and investigation but it went cold when they couldn’t get folks to admit why they were going there it said that there are theee Hollywood guys and one of them will most likely fold and tell on everybody if they get close to catching him. It was a kind read but it was sick it talked about how they had kids there from different places available to them and they could special order them ! It was sick and sad and I believe it’s true when that comes out of it comes out they can cancel all the ppl in Hollywood
