Rep. John Conyers is on the hot seat after news broke that the 27 term congressman quietly settled an accusation of sexual misconduct.

A former employee of the House Judiciary Committee, which Conyers oversees, says she was terminated for refusing his advances.

There are reports that Congress quietly settled dozens of sexual harassment cases against prominent Democrats, such as Rep. Conyers and Sen. Al Franken.

The allegations against Conyers and Franken are said to be just “the tip of the iceberg.”

The problem is said to be so bad that female lawmakers and aides keep a ‘creep list’ of men who are notorious for lewd and lascivious behavior in the House and Senate.

The allegations against Conyers are particularly troublesome. According to affidavits, Conyers used taxpayer dollars to fly women to Washington, D.C. for sexual romps in hotel rooms.

The affidavits were provided to BuzzFeed News by Mike Cernovich, a national security journalist, who accuses Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan of covering up the allegations of misconduct against Conyers and other prominent Democrats.

Conyers, 88, is the longest-serving member of the House of Representatives. He represents Michigan’s 13th congressional district which includes the Detroit area.

The congressman and his wife of 27 years, Monica Conyers, 52, have two sons together, Carl Edward Conyers and John Conyers III. She is pictured below with rapper The Game.

Monica and Conyers renewed their marital vows in 2016 — after she filed for divorce.

The former Detroit City Councilwoman was convicted of taking cash bribes in fast food parking lots in 2010. She served three years in the same luxury West Virginia federal detention center as Martha Stewart.
