San Francisco is in an uproar after the city’s black female interim mayor was ousted in favor of a white male 1 percenter. Interim Mayor London Breed was replaced by venture capitalist Mark Farrell at a contentious board meeting on Tuesday.

Breed became interim mayor in December when Mayor Ed Lee died suddenly of a heart attack while shopping. Lee, 65, was the first sitting mayor to die in office since Chicago’s first black mayor, Harold Washington, died in 1987.

An 8-year-old Oregon boy died days after doctors amputated most of his limbs in a desperate bid to halt the progression of deadly flesh-eating bacteria.

Liam Flanagan, a second-grader from Spring Creek, contracted the flesh-eating bacteria after crashing his bike while riding down a hill near his family home on Saturday Jan. 13.

Justin Bieber is reportedly skipping the Grammy Awards for the 2nd year in a row. The 23-year-old Canadian singer believes the awards show is no longer relevant, even as he is nominated for 3 trophies — all for his collaboration with Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee on the hit remix of their #1 hit song “Despacito”.

In 2017, Justin reportedly skipped the Grammy Awards because he, “doesn’t think the Grammys are relevant or representative, especially when it comes to young singers.”

Casey Neistat Jeff Zucker

Now we know why CNN’s president Jeff Zucker is considering resigning to take a top job at ESPN.

10 years ago, Zucker, 52, famously warned television companies that they were in danger of “trading analog dollars for digital pennies” by turning to digital media.
