Comedian DL Hughley is infuriated with Chicago PD over a controversial sting to catch Nike thieves. Hughley posted a message on Instagram.com targeting the cops who parked a truck full of Nike sneakers near a basketball court and waited for their prey to take the bait.
"Chicago cops parked a truck of #NIKE sneaks at a basketball court in the hood & waited in the cut," he wrote early Wednesday. "When teens took 'em, they got arrested. If cops set up white kids like this in the burbs, it'd be entrapment," Hughley fumed.
But his social media followers commended the cops for teaching the youngsters a life lesson about stealing. Many blamed the parents, saying the lack of home training results in children who lack morals or ethics and exercise poor judgment.
