Kanye West sparked outrage and indignation when he suggested Hillary Clinton wouldn’t make a good president because she’s not a male.

Kanye, 41, made the statement when he met with President Trump in the White House to discuss prison reform and other issues that affect Black people on Thursday.

During his 10 minute rant in front of Trump and reporters, Kanye talked about everything from Democrats, single parent households, and Hillary Clinton.

He explained that, while he loved Clinton, there needs to be more “male energy” in the White House.

He added that he preferred Trump as president because Clinton’s slogan during her presidential campaign was “I’m with Her.”

“My dad and my mom separated so there was not a lot of male energy in my home,” said Kanye. “And also I’m married to a family where, you know, there’s not a lot of male energy. It’s beautiful though.”

He also criticized Black people who say Blacks can only vote for Democrats, or that he can’t vote for Republicans because he is Black.
