Cardi B‘s new track “Money” leaked 2 days early. The Bronx rapper announced she was dropping new music on Thursday or Friday. “My single coming this week,” she announced on Monday. But the track leaked today.
Rather than throw a tantrum and destroy her public image for good, Cardi rolled with the punches and dropped the official audio for “Money” on Tuesday.
Fans didn’t know what to make of the mid temp rap track that glorifies stripperdom. Some fans suggested speeding up the audio 1.5 Xs on Youtube. But the result sounded worse than the normal speed.
