Aries Cobain and children

A pregnant Illinois mother was killed Monday when she was struck by a drunk driver while pushing her stalled car off a road.

Police say Aries Cobian, 29, and her cousin were pushing a disabled Oldsmobile down a road in Streamwood when Hinigo Olivera, 67, rear ended them, pinning Cobian between the 2 vehicles.

No one else was injured in the collision.

Cobian was 12 weeks pregnant when she died. Cobian leaves behind four children ages 10, 8, 3, and 6 months.

WLS reports Olivera was driving under the influence of alcohol. He was charged with aggravated DUI causing death.

According to WBBM, police dash cam video caught Olivera throwing bottles of alcohol out of his truck.

Cobian’s sister, Kanaesha Wilson, told WBBM her sister’s 3-year-old son constantly asks for his mom.

“He recently asked me, ‘Where is mommy? Where is mommy?’ And I’m like, I couldn’t even explain to him ‘where is mommy’. It’s heartbreaking.”

Olivera was released from jail after posting 10% of a $1 million bond, according to CrimeOnline.com.
