The elderly man was treated a hospital for minor injuries. He was in stable condition as of Wednesday, according to PEOPLE. The accident occurred around 2:42 p.m. local time at the 23600 block of Calabasas Road, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Ali was not issued a ticket for the accident, according to police, who said Ali was driving slowly when she backed into the man.

“Ali was driving slow in the parking lot. She wasn’t impaired,” police told PEOPLE. “The man is in his 90s, so if they fall down, they get hurt.”

Ali took to Facebook.com on Wednesday to issue an apology to the elderly gentleman, and to tell her followers she was okay.

“As was reported, I was involved in a minor parking lot accident yesterday. I am okay, and am praying that the elderly gentlemen who was walking behind my car as I was backing up is okay. My daughter (Sydney) was in the vehicle, and she is okay too. I am thankful for the medical responders and LA County sheriffs department, both of whom arrived promptly and tended to the situation with urgency and calm. Thank you to everyone who has reached out to me concerned.”
