Cardi B, Mona Scott Young

You were right if you said the Cardi B/Offset impending divorce drama was just a publicity stunt for a reality TV show. Reality TV mogul Mona Scott-Young practically confirmed rumors that a reality show starring Cardi B and Offset is in the works.

Mona, who produces TV’s Love & Hip Hop franchises, posted a Selfie of herself and Cardi on her Instagram account on Wednesday. She captioned the image with hashtags: “#TheFaceWhenYouMakingMoneyMoves #mPOWered”.

Social media users had already guessed that a reality TV show starring Cardi and Offset was in the works after Cardi announced her split from her cheating husband, Offset.

The question is will anyone watch the new show?

Judging from comments on Sandrarose.com, it seems people are tired of the stunts and manufactured drama that reality TV has to offer nowadays.

Ratings are low for reality TV shows like Keeping Up with the Kardashians and T.I. & Tiny Friends and Family Hustle, which fell far below 1 million viewers for its finale on Monday.

Viewers are tuning out and changing the channel in search of scripted programs that offer talent and quality entertainment.
