Nicki Minaj, Tomi Lahren

Nicki Minaj is not here for Tomi Lahren’s jokes about deporting rapper 21 Savage. The 26-year-old was picked up in an immigration raid by ICE agents in Atlanta on Super Bowl Sunday. Savage, who was born Shayaa Bin Abraham-Joseph in the UK, was arrested for overstaying his 2006 visa.

The conservative political commentator irked Nicki’s nerves when she changed the lyrics to one of the rapper’s songs in a tweet on Monday. “I got one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight ICE agents ready to deport ya,” Lahren tweeted.

Soon after the backlash erupted on Twitter, rapper Cardi B tweeted, “Don’t make me get my leash” – a reference to her “dog walk” comment during a Twitter war with Lahren last month.

“Nicki Minaj also got in on the action, tweeting: “Your obsession w/our culture is scary to say the least. I hate giving you the attention you so desperately crave. Laughing @ [people] getting deported as if your ancestors discovered America. Are you Native American? You fkn clown.”

Lahren wasn’t the only one mocking Savage on Twitter. The “Bank Account” rapper is being held in the Atlanta City Jail in downtown Atlanta. Memes taunting the rapper have been retweeted thousands of times on the micro blogging network since news of Savage’s arrest made headlines on Sunday.

Lahren’s American Money Tour stops in Atlanta at the Marriott Marquis Hotel on Feb. 23. Tickets are still available, and security will be tight.
