Brittany Noble-Jones

Brittany Noble-Jones was let go from her job as an anchorwoman for a Mississippi TV station after she objected to her boss referring to her natural hairstyle as "too unprofessional" for broadcast.

Noble-Jones, who went from wearing braid extensions and wigs to styling her own natural hair, was told her new hairstyle was too unprofessional to wear on the air.

Brittany Noble-Jones

Noble-Jones said her boss compared her natural hairstyle to wearing a baseball cap.

The anchorwoman began working for WJTV in Jackson, Mississippi, in 2015. That same year she won the NABJ's "Emerging Journalist of the Year" award.

According to Buzzfeed News, Noble-Jones decided to change her hairstyle for "practical and personal reasons" after giving birth to her son in October 2016.

She explained that it took a long time to straighten her hair everyday, and she was a new mom. But she also wanted to set an example for her unborn child.

"While I was pregnant I kept wondering, 'How am I going to teach my child to love their own hair if I don't even love my own hair?'" she said.

Noble-Jones told her boss she planned to stop wearing wigs and wear her natural hair on the air, and her boss said OK. But a month later, she said he changed his mind.

According to Noble-Jones, her boss said her natural hair was the equivalent of her "wearing a baseball hat to the grocery store."

She said she internalized the criticism at first, thinking she "didn't look like a beauty queen with my hair."

But then she decided to fight back. She recorded some of her conversations with her boss, who eventually left the station.

However, Noble-Jones said the issues with her natural hair continued. She filed a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and shortly thereafter, she took sick leave to care for her dying grandfather.

While on leave, Noble-Jones was fired. The station cited her absence from work, not her hair, as the reason for her termination.

The station, which is owned by Nexstar Broadcasting, Inc., denied any bias toward the anchorwoman.

The station pointed out its "zero-tolerance policy which prohibits harassment, discrimination or retaliation of any type."

A spokesperson said in a statement, "Ms. Jones' employment was in fact terminated for excessive absenteeism and for her failure to return to work and fulfill her contractual responsibilities after exhausting all available leave time."

The statement concluded: "We stand by our decision to terminate Ms. Jones' employment and vehemently deny her latest publicly-stated version of reasons for her dismissal."

Noble-Jones wrote a post about her ordeal on Medium.com. She said her hope was, "that by talking about my hair it shines a light on some of the problems we as journalists face in sharing stories about people of color."

  • Yardgirl

Damn damn damn, she got got by them when she left to take care of her father. Now on paper it looks like she was terminated with due cause but we know the real deal!! When did wearing natural hair become so offensive? We cannot get a fair deal in this effed up world. Le sigh.

  • EasyBreezy

Girl, that money is coming. Be patient! And your natural hair looks great!

  • Gloria

Rocking your natural hair as a black woman in the general workplace is awkward to an extent already.

Can't tell you how many times I've had coworkers ask to touch my hair, ask me how they can have their hair look like mine (mind you, i have locs), ask me if its my real hair or if i wash it, or just catch them staring at my hair. It can be flattering or degrading... its a thin line between both.

So, yeah. I believe the black woman.

  • http://realitytea.com/ Lady Chatterley’s Lover

Yep, and THOSE are the SAME ones trying to jump into BED with a black MAN the first CHANCE they get -- the ULTIMATE culture vultures.

  • LYRICS

Them even mentioning her hair should have kept her eyes even more open! Bottom line, whether she "exhausted" her leave time or not, her hair is why the essentially let her go.....Wash days are hard enough already, don't need this ish either! *Tired natural*

  • Coy little wink

I need more info. What attendance policy did she violate? Did she apply for FMLA leave?

  • http://realitytea.com/ Lady Chatterley’s Lover

IT she looks better in the photo with natural hair.

  • 11pink123

Her hair looks ridiculous. I would not hire her either.. when you go on tv as a news anchor you want to look nuetraul so when you talk, ppl don’t think you statements are opinionated or bias.. that’s communication 101...

  • Coco Mcluvin

So you're saying look less naturally black? The only thing that looks ridiculous is her wig.

  • hi-liter

Yeah because only women who wear wigs and perms are able to communicate well and relate to the masses.......smh...okay den.

  • tintin

really?? i think her natural hair looks beautiful. the wig looks ridiculous to me.

  • Sushi

Ok, so this is why I stopped wearing a sewin, yes in this Texas heat, it is a life savor, but I'm at a point where I am tired of wearing them and spending money and time on putting them in, and taken it out....

  • SeannaPaula

So, then white people should also change their hair and their skin tone to look neutral and unbiased, right, you speak so profoundly and well versed you must be a champion

  • Topic Influencer

Blessings to you Brittany. You will be scooped up.

  • xenaD

I swear I didn’t read the article! Her natural hair looks good.. I thought this story was about that damn ridiculous ass wig she had on!! Thought they told her to take it off ?? What in the...

  • Ain’t Misbehavin

These news stations need to give black women a hair budget. I'm tired of their hair looking like "well we tried"... Put Keisha on hair payroll and keep it moving if you want her to "appeal" to your audience.

  • ALLMINE?

    We let this happen

  • xenaD

Where are you people working?! Nobody and I mean not a single white person has asked me to touch my hair... that’s weird for real. But then again I didn’t understand dreads at first and I did ask my friend/coworker those same kinds of questions. Ok. Sorry. Carry on ?

  • hi-liter

    Beginning with Madam CJ Walker.

  • Ain’t Misbehavin

What does natural hair have to do with being bias? Let me be first to tell you it's not communication 101, you sir/ma'am are lost in the sauce and I'm afraid it may be too late to save you.

  • CoTToNCaNDie SWeeTAsGolD

My complaint is with the wig.

  • DroneRivers

How does wearing her hair the way it naturally grows out of her scalp make her look any less "neutral" than that silly wig? Whatever the eff that even means. White people need to just stop trying to police Black bodies.

  • DroneRivers

The sad part is they don't want to be saved.

  • Rainbowbelow

That wig makes her look older.

  • DroneRivers

Nothing but respectability politics. White hair = professional but Black hair = "baseball cap to the grocery store". F*ck you, sir.

  • 11pink123

Look what you like is what you like. That’s not a natural hair style first of all because it’s braided up. White woman where there hair in that crown braid all the time. I don’t like the hair style period. It don’t matter who it’s on. The only thing that matters is she likes it and she was willing to loose her job over it. So if it’s that important to her, than so be it. But I’m raising my hand and saying the hairstyle is ugly and I understand why they don’t want her on camera with it.

  • Ain’t Misbehavin

Maybe when Kylie Jenner or one of them Kardashians rock it - it will be the new "IT" thing.

  • http://batman-news.com Roderick2011

Please don't waste your keystrokes on that fool.

I blocked him after he compared Trump with Jesus because in his sick mind people were PERSECUTING Trump like they did Jesus.

Yes that clown is that stupid.

  • Ain’t Misbehavin

I swear, folks wake up with the intent to be stupid..

  • DroneRivers

They really do. I think that font is a troll sometimes though. At least that's what I'm hoping lol

  • http://batman-news.com Roderick2011

Did you slap their hands when they tried to touch your hair?

  • DroneRivers

Complete with a brand new white name attached. Like when White people tried to rename Bantu knots "mini buns".

  • Ain’t Misbehavin

All on TMZ and Wendy Williams smh.... smh this world.

  • Ain’t Misbehavin

I see your point. They wanted to get rid of her anyways, so if it wasn't the hair thing, it would've been another. Some shht is inevitable and this was one of them.

  • Panther Charleston

I'ma tell you right now, my black grandma would've said the same thing. She wouldn't gave a damn if it was Betty or Bertha. You best had that hair curled and styled or neatly pulled back into a bun to look ready for her. This ain't racial. It's just their preference.

  • Ni Ni

    ?

  • Phillybruh

I have too agree, the news has a uniform.

  • Diva_woman

I’m from St. Louis and I’ve been following her career for years. She was the first to interview mike brown’s mom before the fergeson protests started. I was devastated to see how she was treated down in Mississippi. This has to stop. The attack on blackness has gone on long enough.

  • IyanlaVanzantoftheInterWebs

Need to see the pics of the “baseball cap” hairdos.. Dont just post the pics of the neat bun... Post the “off” day pics too???

  • Ni Ni

It's racial with them. Black older people have been conditioned to accept certain things. I have an eighty plus old uncle who still calls white men sir.
He and his wife raised me. They both have "looser & curly" grade of hair. When i went natural, i got snide comments from them as well. I'm a 4c so it's rough. Our hair dont have to be slicked down for it to be neat.

  • Guest

She looks too pretty with her natural hair so therein lies the problem. Yeah, I said it!

  • A.P. Millz-CT

    LOL!!!

  • rory

Such a beauty rocking her natural hair.

  • ALLMINE?

    Lol

  • IyanlaVanzantoftheInterWebs

But it needs to oiled and or greased and not dry looking like the sahara

  • SingleGalCrazyWorld

Uummm I disagree...I see some of them at my PT job the on the weekends when they shop downtown for cosmetics...they dont like it either...why do you think that sista from CBS 3 got fired who worked in the the morning???

  • Kimberly King

On some G Sh*t, she actually looks better in the pic with her natural hair ! And I’m not saying that because I’m natural. It’s facts. And it’s so sad that black women still have to deal with this. Something similar happened to a coworker of mine when I was working for the state. We both wore our natural hair. My hair is 3C and hers was 4C. She came to me and asked if Lori (the director) addressed me about my hair. Of course I said no because she never did. But she told me Lori would tell her how her hair wasn’t a good representation. Like what ?! ALLLLLLL natural hair is beautiful. IDGAF is someone has 4Z hair. Perms cause fibroids and cancer. And not everyone wants to rock a wig. Leave us and our hair the f*ck ALONE.

  • http://thedevereauxshow.com Ms.Devereaux

She look waaaaay better with her natraul Hair than that wig! I think folks want black women to wear wigs so they can talk about how bad it looks. I have yet to See a wig on a black woman that looks natural and nice. A lot of the wigs have humps where’s the part is at and the lace wigs are really imo for productions not to wear in everyday life they all look fake! Congrats to her for embracing her natural hair. (Not to knock anyone else’s choice to wear wigs it’s just they look unnatural to me I prefer a natural sew in with a leave out not a closure)

  • SingleGalCrazyWorld

You just reminded me...I saw an asian woman with a natural afro yesterday...I dont neva in my life....Chile....

  • Sushi

    All that......

  • Raquel

Why tho? Is she going to be on air with her "baseball cap" hairdo or nah?

  • Phillybruh

Rahel was on the news this morning? When she get fired. I'm certain they like the check that comes with being on the news its a good gig if you can get it and if it requires a certain uniform look then wear the wig while on camera. Some natural looks don't go over well on camera.

  • http://thedevereauxshow.com Ms.Devereaux

    Ok!!!

  • Kimocha

Of course this is Mississippi we talking about... Which is on top of the list of thee most racist states in the country!... And always have been and always will be!...So I'm not surprised..... But I AM sick of mofo's having a problem with our hair!... F@ck Off! and worry about your own hair and all the lice that be in it!

  • Ryan

Her hair looks nice and it's neat. Plus she cute. And let me just say I expect the negativity from the pig people but from our own? Unnecessary.

  • http://thedevereauxshow.com Ms.Devereaux

    I honk it’s a troll

  • Sushi

Ok......I think we have been whitewashed for so long, it has become the norm.

  • T Willis

    ?

  • SingleGalCrazyWorld

Not Rahel...the other female her name was Brooke something she was on the air with Jim Donovan but he's a diva anyway and didn't like her hair, makeup and everything else...she was fighting an uphill battle the whole time she was there....this was in like 2016 or 2017...

  • T Willis

4C texture needs to be slicked back in order to be beat. Sorry ????? but it does. Additionally, it doesn’t mean your hair is bad, it just means your texture requires more maintenance to achieve a nest coif.

  • Phillybruh

Oh after Ukee went too nights. I wondered what happened to her. Sorry she had to go through that. Rahel strikes me as the type that doesn't take Jims mess...I like the whole 430 crew though..I dred hearing them though that means its time too get up...lol I could see if they allowed the white women do to what ever they wanted to their hair, but they all wear the same bad wigs....lol

  • 11pink123

White woman wear that crown braid hair style all the time, prob more than black woman. I don’t like the hair style period. It’s ugly to me. The wig looks tacky too, but it looks more professional. That braid is not even done right, it looks like she washed her hair and then Braided it up.

  • 11pink123

Than how can you still see me? But I will do you a favor and block you since you cant find the strength to block me.

  • T Willis

People don’t understand that part of it - being natural doesn’t mean you can just roll out of bed and throw a headband on it. Our textures require a lot of moisturize and a lot of maintenance. We can’t get away with the same easy peasy styles that other ethnicities can do.

  • T Willis

    Yep

  • 11pink123

Natural would of been an Afro or her hair down the way I wear mines with its natural curls.. but that looks raggedy, the braids are not even neat and she ain’t bother to control the fizz. If everyone of al colors woke up in the morning and did not comb there hair we would all look tacky.

Nobody trying to look at a tacky person on tv. I would continue turning if I seen her, it look like something that you would see on a school district channel run by students and only aired in your city. It don’t look professional.

  • RaginB

Ok I get that she didn’t like the criticism..but were they trying to fire you because of it??...I would’ve been still wearing my natural hair until they hit me with “weave it or you’re fired”.

  • T Willis

There’s a difference between “hair styling” and “hair texture”. The woman said her boss was fine with her decision to wear her hair natural. The problem arose (based on her time line) a few weeks later - probably when they saw how she was “styling” her hair. And you have to keep in mind, by this young woman’s own admission, she was tired, caring for a newborn, then caring for a sick elderly relative - now, I know a lot of black women who can barely make time to do their natural hair, and they don’t have a newborn, nor are they caring for a sick elderly relative. I say that to say, the young woman probably had some days when she was looking like Ceily off the color purple ?, and as an achor woman you have to be on point when you are on the air. I need more receipts.

  • hi-liter

That’s what they want, us to look just as old as white women.

  • IamAllnatural

Of course I love the natural hair than that casket ready wig.
Technically her job had the right to fire because you can’t take sick leave to care for a grandparent. She couldn’t use FMLA either since it’s not immediate family. She should’ve asked for leave for personal reasons. Her company was waiting for a reason to fire her and she gave them her job.

  • 11pink123

I’m not sure what natural black means. Natural black would be Ethiopian not Nigerian. Our natural hair is soft, tight curls and thick. That is dried out brittle, damaged hair.. that’s not natural. That’s overly processed and wearing to many weaves hair.

  • IyanlaVanzantoftheInterWebs

    Exactly ?

  • CoTToNCaNDie SWeeTAsGolD

They want her to wear a wig. Ok! But then they need to break that bread and supply some frontals/lace fronts/bundles from some of these high end hair retailers and have a professional hairstylist of color who knows how to install them. They just want her out there with straight hair...they don't care that THAT shyt look like the helmet!!!

  • Ice

    Precisely.

  • Brooklyn23

Like with homosexuality and everything else that's become the norm. But to us people that know better, we pick sense out of nonsense

  • T Willis

That’s a false equivalency. Yt woman don’t have the same cultural experience when it comes to their hair and skin tone. There’s an imagery that comes to mind for a lot of yt folks (especially in Mississippi) when they see a black woman rocking an Afro or any hair styles from the ?? movement. What the other poster is saying is that, while representing a media brand that’s dependent on viewership, it’s an important to be as plain and indistinguishable as possible. Our hair is distinguishable but it can be styled in a healthy/natural way that still appeases yt America. Not everything is cut and dry. Some situations require tact and open-mindedness. Just like if a Muslim wanted to represent a media brand they too would have to pick their battles or find a middle ground that remains culturally sensitive while meeting the requirements of your position.

  • VanillaCaramel2shotsExpresso

Casket ready .... that wig made her look old!!!! She looks so cute without it!

  • Renee26

Well she screwed herself out of a discrimination suit by messing up her attendance record

  • Coy little wink

I agree but she doesn't have the "look" with the goddess braid

  • Lianna Wright

Did she get his OK in writing? If not, shame on her. See folks we gotta get everything in writing....everything...on on tape.

  • 11pink123

I’m from LA, Our hair game is required to be on point out here. From weaves to natural or whatever. The hairstyle makes her look like a teen that should be on YouTube, instead of a grown professional woman on the news channel. I would not take her serious if I were flipping through channels. You can’t make me be impressed by the hairstyle it is ugly to me on her and the white woman who wear it.

  • 11pink123

No I’m real.. I’m just from LA and not Mississippi, where apparently that hairstyle would be acceptable. The wig is trash too if that makes you feel any better. Her whole hair game is trash. She is a young, clean and has a pretty face which is prob why they hired her. But if she gone come to work looking like she rolled out the bed than ????? Bump her.. on to the next.

  • Sushi

Just like you, your mammy, and grandmammy selling snatch on the street, yall will lean to leave me the F***, be..

  • Well$$Well$$?

    Girl...

  • Well$$Well$$?

Wearing your hair the way it grows out of your scalp is out the norm? ?

  • Well$$Well$$?

Everyone doesn't want to wear a 5lb wig or relax their hair and they shouldn't have to.

  • Mr. Poopybutthole

It has to be more to this story

  • TheOwley

If she was told to change her hair, she should have made them do it in writing after immediately going to HR. Her recorded conversations with her boss (if legally done) will work in her favor, and submitting a report with the EEOC will also work in her favor, so it's not something she made up. It looks like the station used her absenteeism as background to fire her. I wish she had officially taken a leave of absence under the family and medical leave act to care for her grandfather as opposed to not showing to work. Still, she has a case.

  • Sid

And they wonder why black women wear wigs and weaves. Society has deemed the black woman hair as unacceptable

  • 11pink123

I’m not sure if you’re agreeing with me or not. But your hair looks fine in your picture. It’s actually cute.

I live in Cali and they have no chill when it comes to hair.. she is on tv. I own a business and I know how my customers both black and white treat people who don’t come to work looking clean. I’m trying to make money to help everyone I can. I don’t have time to be arguing with stupid azz customers because I have a staff that’s trying to make a point.

Business is business and unfortunately people do judge you off your appearance.

  • YellowSauce

sounds about right to me .... work politics can be very controlling ... I remember being told at work that they preferred if we ate together at lunch .. which is illegal ... I bet I could get them legally if I wanted to ... there was so many illegal things they would just do because they could .... most places of employment can fire you for no reason ... so this is definitely believable ...

  • 11pink123

She do look prettier, but only because you can see her face.. she needs to Look nuetral/plain business for news channel. That’s the look they go for so that people can’t read through you. They just want you to state the news they tell you to state...

  • Coco Mcluvin

Natural means what grows out of our heads. He hear doesn't appeal dried out, brittle, damaged or overprocess. I trying to understand what it is you were trying to say.

  • Fire & Ice

Work politics is the WORST. My old job use to do sh*t like this. Ugh they use to try and force us, to participate in office parties, and off the clock events. Like gatherings at other people house, and sh*t like that ?. Child.if you didn't participate, they would low key make sh*t miserable at the office for you. Ughhh YT and their bullsh*t ?

  • Fire & Ice

More white people bullsh*t! More and more black women, are embracing thwir natural hair. Folks better get use to it or those pockets will pay ?

  • Prettybrowneyes

My bad...I was responding to someone else but clicked on you. I agree with you. My mom was a cosmetologist and worked with all hairstyles black white and everyone in between. She keeps her license to get the good stuff, also from Cali?. I believe in do what makes you happy. My issue is she said she went natural. That takes time and work. If I went to work with my hair unkept I would be taken aside, and I have before. I had a blood transfusion on Friday and went to work on Monday. My manager was like "Um no" I did not looking professional working in the Corporate world, but thought I would get brownie points for going back so soon. That's all I was saying. Thank you for the compliment ?. I judge no one for their choice of hairstyle. It's an expression, lifestyle, statement and no one has the right to judge! And yes in business presentation is first.

  • VanillaCaramel2shotsExpresso

I think our issue is who dictated the “look”. I love the fact that at the school work at which is not in an urban/city or hip area by the way , we can wear our hair any way we please . Sister locks, braids, shaved , ( I have an undercut) different colors) fro’s , and even head wraps. My principal is really plain Jane but she lets us run with from long haired hippy to man bun. Our local sports caster has long dreds too . I guess some places just want that European look, maybe she try something different in her natural style.

  • Logan Roberts

Brittany you should've had your absences & paperwork together, so you could have sued their behinds.

  • Coy little wink

I feel you but unfortunately women are held to a different standard and I personally have not seen any female anchors wearing dreads or braids.

  • HoneyHitchcock

So sad that they are more worried about her hair vs her journalism ability

  • dontgetblocked

Broadcast journalists are on-air talent. They're basically actors and they have to adapt their look to appeal to the audience in order to get ratings. The company has the right to tell you to change your look because you were hired for looking a certain way. I've read about this woman before. She was high maintenance and handled things unprofessionally. Currently, she is in NY with her son staying with a friend. She works at a retail store and has started a Go Fund Me to collect money so she can get an apartment in NY. She seems lazy and entitled. No support from me.

  • dontgetblocked

There is. She was a troublemaker. TV News is like an acting gig. If the station hires you as a blonde and you dye your hair red, it could be a problem. You can't just change your look because you're hired for your look. She's currently slumming at a friend's NY apartment with her child, working at a retail store and she's started a Go Fund Me page so she can get an apartment in NY. She's lazy.

  • dontgetblocked

You're right. They make white girls with curly hair straighten it as well.

  • dontgetblocked

Please remember that men have to have a neat haircut. White women can't wear curly hair either. They use keratin treatment and flat iron the hell out of their hair. Let's not talk about about the cosmetic surgery. Your "look" is very important in TV News. Her natural hair is two braids that most of us would not wear in a professional environment. An afro or twist out may have been more acceptable than that kitchen hairstyle.

  • Queen B

Well if she missed too many days off work she doesn't have a leg to stand on especially if that boss that criticized her left before she was even fired.

  • ClaireHuxtable

  • Jamal Warner

So the station was right to fire her because of her hair?

Yes I love it, because it's not about the hair, as long as it neat an in order. .. Natural , Relaxed, braids, or shave..And this is why I hate political standards.... .

  • 11pink123

    Perfectly said ???

  • 11pink123

Yeah I get what she trying to do, I’ve actually had to let someone go over that too and the customer that complained about it was another black woman. White customers never complained about it but whenever they wanted to get their way or a discount or something, they accused her of doing stuff she never did, we have cameras and I know it was only because of the way she looked, they realized they can say anything about her because she fits the stereotype and ppl would believe them.

Anyways, your hair looks great. Whatever you are doing, you need to share... you sound like a super sweet person.. In the name of Jesus I believe you are healed from whatever is causing you to have a blood transfusion.... Thank God.. ?

I started to wear my natural hair and I definitely got a negative reaction from co workers and bosses. Everyone's natural hair is different. Me spending 1 to 2 hours on some hair every morning, no, then as soon as it sweats out its different. The fact that I felt embarrassed or less attractive because of the way my NATURAL hair is was the problem for me. I got jus as bad negative reactions from black people too.?????

She looks nice, neat and professional to me. I wear my hair like that as well and I've never heard one word about it.

4C texture needs to be slicked back in order to be beat. Sorry ????? but it does....That is not a fact, that's your opinion which you are welcomed to have, still does NOT make it true!

  • Fire & Ice

    So true

  • EMILY POST

She looks nice but it looks child like not really unprofessional though. IT makes her look really young.

  • SayWhatNow?

They usually are! IJDGAF anymore! Even more so b/c I'm tryna to start my own thing so I can work in my sports bra n' gym shorts! Presentable, clean, and comfy is my daily goal! Besides, working with men all day long, doesn't necessarily put me in the mood to rock heels in the office

Never mind the negative comments people throw your way. They are plain ignorant, self-hating blacks. Our hair grows out of our head this way, and I have found so much freedom, and ease. It takes no time to do your hair, and water is your friend. It's only a matter of the right products. I wear alot of twist- out styles, sometimes cornrows and twists. Its less than 10 minutes to do. Loc method. I get compliments daily. I even have sisters asking me and I tell them everything that works for me. We are unique, and once we learn to love ourselves, we will love all of the features that come with us. Peace and blessings.....sis

I have worn a wig about three times, a weave maybe twice, and the answer is: NO!!! I felt fake and insecure. I have never felt more free being natural. Not to mention all of the beautiful styles that exist in natural hair!

Okay. I hear you. But Nini, toward the end I think she lost some of that give a damn and evolved into her own preferences. At least, I hope she did. ?

her braids did look nice...just too casual... i think people need to respect that their is an "image" that relates to their job...& they are not hired to show off their personality & cultural love of self..

  • Goodii2Shoes

it sounds like personal life issues conflicted w/professional life obligations..
depending on how the conversation was phrased, it may have been inappropriate...but because you want to make your child think you love your hair more than you ever did before birth sounds more hormonal than professional.
Up your professionalism: wear the wig / weave for work ,if your employer prefers you stay in line w/the image they are trying to project for the business & snatch it off before you get home &show off those same two braids to the child you think it matters to...*shrug* low professionalism irks me

  • Bonny

I love my natural hair ???

  • Bonny

Or just wear it the way you want ?
