Khloe Kardashian has come to her senses after blaming family friend Jordyn Woods for breaking up her relationship with baby daddy, Tristan Thompson. The 34-year-old socialite now says Tristan is to blame for coming on to Jordyn during a get-together at his L.A home.
Khloe called Jordyn a liar after the youngster appeared on an episode of Jada Pinkett Smith's web talk series Red Table Talk that aired Friday.
Jordyn told Jada she spent the night at Tristan's L.A. area home, but that nothing happened. She said as she was leaving, Tristan gave her an unwanted kiss on the lips, but she insisted there was no passion and no tongue was involved.
Khloe was irate. She took to social media on Friday, tweeting:
"Why are you lying @jordynwoods ?? If you’re going to try and save yourself by going public, INSTEAD OF CALLING ME PRIVATELY TO APOLOGIZE FIRST, at least be HONEST about your story. BTW, You ARE the reason my family broke up!"
But as many of her social media followers pointed out, Khloe and Tristan were already history. Tristan has not been faithful to her since the day they met.
Angry fans called the entire spectacle a publicity stunt and they threatened to boycott the Kardashian's poorly-rated reality TV show.
After reconsidering her options, Khloe took to Twitter on Saturday to half-heartedly apologize to Jordyn, and to place the blame on her promiscuous 27-year-old baby daddy for lusting after the younger woman.
"This has been an awful week & I know everyone is sick of hearing about it all (as am I). I’m a rollercoaster of emotions & have said things I shouldn't have. Honestly, Tristan cheating on me & humiliating me, wasn’t such a shock as the first time.
"What's been harder & more painful is being hurt by someone so close to me. Someone whom I love & treat like a little sister. But Jordyn is not to be blamed for the breakup of my family. This was Tristan’s fault."
Khloe added that she will move on as a single mom.
"I have to move on with my life & count my blessings, my family, my health, & my beautiful baby True."
But fans still aren't convinced this isn't all a publicity stunt for Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which saw the lowest ratings ever last season with an average of less than 1 million viewers per episode.
