A fifth-grader died following a fight at a rural South Carolina school.

10-year-old RaNiya Wright, a Forest Hills Elementary School student, died Wednesday, March 27, after she was taken off life support at the Medical University of South Carolina.

RaNiya's mother, Ashley Wright, announced her daughter's passing in a Facebook post.

"As of 9:39 my baby girl has gain(ed) her wings. Justice4ny," she wrote on Wednesday.

The police have been tight-lipped about the cause of death. But community residents whose children attend the school say RaNiya was choked out by a fellow fifth-grader while the substitute teacher was out of the classroom.

School administrators stopped the fight, according to The Post and Courier. RaNiya was unresponsive but still breathing in the school nurse's office when emergency responders arrived. She was airlifted to MUSC where she was placed on life support.

An autopsy is scheduled as is normal procedure when a person dies of unnatural causes.

Ashley Wright said RaNyiya was constantly bullied in class, but others on social media say she was the bully.

S.C. Rep Justin Bamberg, whose district includes Waterboro, was disturbed by the news.

"How in the hell does this happen in an elementary school," Bamberg said Wednesday. "When a little girl dies after a fight, it really makes you question what type of leadership is going on there and what are the adults doing."

More than 20 counselors and psychologists were on site to offer support to students and staff. The school continued on a normal schedule and students were seen playing on the playground.

In a statement on the school's website, the school district called RaNiya a "wonderful student" who "loved to write, spend time with her friends, play basketball and loved being a big sister."

The statement continued: "She was actively involved in her church as a junior usher. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and the entire school community."

Residents placed stuffed animals and flowers at a makeshift memorial outside the school. A mother of four stopped by to leave a cross below the school's sign on Wednesday.

No charges have been filed against the other student who has been suspended from school. Charges are being considered, but the student will not be charged as an adult.

The case will be heard in family court where factors will be considered, such as the child's age, level of maturity, and whether the incident was premeditated.

The last time a child died on school grounds in South Carolina was the Townville Elementary School shooting in 2016.

A Gofundme account raised $40,254 in public donations after the initial goal was raised from $30,000.

She's beautiful. This is so heartbreaking. Where were the teachers; the school should be held accountable!!! RIP babygirl xoxo

  • Seldomseen

    Wow, RIP!

  • KLove

Sad story.....for the little girl to die from being choked out after being on life support, means she had to have been deprived of oxygen for well over 4 minutes. Where were the adults??? Lawsuit soon come. Lawyers prolly chomping at the bit to hop on this one.

  • Well$$Well$$?

This story is so heartbreaking. You send your kids to school to get an education. You expect them to come home. I can't imagine what this girl's family is going through. 10 years old is too young to die. May she rest in Paradise....

  • Well$$Well$$?

The teacher was a sub. She left the room. I would go in on her but teachers are human. They make mistakes. Im sure she probably feels like shat and partially responsible....

  • Renee26

So sad... They need to do a psychological evaluation on that crazy kid that's killing people with their bare hands.

    That's not normal

  • sunni_daze

I cried. It is so sad that these babies have this level of violence in them and lets be clear violence is a learned behavior. May this family find peace and comfort in the Most High and may he heal their pain.

  • Renee26

Maybe to allow the mother time to grieve the loss of her child without having to worry about working or cooking... I'd be inconsolable over mine

  • Renee26

Crazy people are often extra strong

  • MJF

Well I would assume this incident happened in a matter of minutes, because anything longer than that, she and the school should be held accountable. Sorry not sorry.

  • Nita Pie

I was thinking that I just didnt want to say. Its kids, Its sad

  • justlooking

May she RIP and my condolences to her parents, family and friends

Bulling starts at home and school administrators need to have a no tolerance policy.

    Tragic and senseless

  • RealATLPeach36

Damnit I was saying the same thing. Damn Hulk. It then again that’s anger or a person that is scared. Granny always said a scared person will kill you dead.

I’ll look at granny and say kill is dead ? but whatever!

  • Well$$Well$$?

Oh I agree. The family is going to sue the school district as they should. My mom's a teacher and she told me you never leave kids unattended....It's like teaching 101. It's just crazy to me how one choice. One action. Can completely change so many lives...smdh

  • wonderwoman

RIP baby girl. You know how mad a person has to be to choke you to death. Just sad???

Exactly... The substitute failed her and the rest of the kids who witnessed the attack. They let damn near anybody who passes the background and drug test substitute in my state.

    Happened in Colleton County/Walterboro.

I said yesterday that before my daddy croaked after living in dusty ass Walterboro, SC I had NEVER heard of it. IN MY LIFE. Now it comes up OFTEN.

    RIP to that baby girl.

I had a big fat greasy b!tch put me in the headlock in 5th grade. She was a bully-big and ugly so it was understandable. I was giving her head and body shots until she got me in that headlock. ????

Sigh, so true how one action can change a life, you're so right about that. Have a nice day.

All these public schools are animal houses no way in the hell will my daughters be going to public school

  • Renee26

I swear! My son was bullied mercilessly in elementary school for crying (he went through a traumatic experience that was none of their business). The kids teased him calling him gay and a sissy etc... He eventually went after one with a metal pole... I told the administration they better not even try to punish him for retaliation because they were aware of the bullying and didn't do enough to address it. Needless to say they soon adopted a zero tolerance policy.

  • Topic Influencer

Oh Renee. That is too sad. Im so sorry for your baby man. NO KID deserves that.

  • MsSapphire9800

Everyone is focusing on lying azz Jussie...that we are forgetting about the innocent black children being killed everyday.....***Taemon Blair... 21...found hung in his delivery truck by co-worker.***

  • WinterIsComing

It’s sad that it took all of that for the school to address bullying. And I’m glad your son whooped on one of them.

  • Renee26

I had him in counseling... He spoke of suicide behind their taunts. He's stronger and uses his experience to help others who have issues with depression. To this day I wonder if the kids telling him he was gay for crying influenced him to decide to actually be gay.

  • Vegas1989

A very sad story. The sub teacher should have left the door open and went across the hall to another teacher to watch out for his/her class.. I know I would have told them that I will punch them in their stomach if I hear a peep out of them or if they move....LOL..When I was out of work my friend wanted me to sub at her school...I told her hell nawl...You are trying to get me a life sentence if I sub at this High School. She already knew that I will fight a kid in a heartbeat....LOL..One dude tried me at youth group at church. I told him lets go across the street so I can lay hands on him...He called me crazy...LOL

I use to be a substitute teacher. Under no circumstances do you leave the students unattended. Most schools have a phone or intercom to call for help. In really rough schools you also have a walkie talkie to use when you need help. This is unbelievably sad to me. My son is 10 and I just can't imagine. RIH. RaNiya

  • justlooking

I'm sorry to hear about this, you as the parent wanna fught the child.

My son too was bullied, because he had severe asthma and was often sick. So they would say such mean things. I called the school and told them I wanted the school board involved. They suspended the other child...he had a sad story. But damn, it so frightening and frustrating. Kids are killing themselves and now tnis.

I KNOW I am going to get crucified for this but here goes. I understand bullying is real; however “we” now consider EVERYTHING bullying, when if you really look at it, it is the same things that “we” DEALT with as children (36 and over). Think about it how many times were we jived about clothes, shoes, color, played dozens, etc and it NEVER resulted in suicide nor did I parents run to the schools we learned coping skills and our parents and our village made sure that nothing outside the house or village would have a louder voice than what was spoken inside.

Damn right! As he should have! Bullies ain't nothing but talk. It takes ONE TIME for them to be embarrassed to make that sh!t stop. Bullies sit down when you stand up to'em.

Me and my BFF have been friends TO THIS DAY! No falling out through the years or NOTHIN' SINCE KINDERGARTEN! Why? Because SHE was a bully and one day on the bus, the bish wouldn't let me off the bus. She wanted me to go home and play with HER because she didn't want to play with her little sister anymore. She was holding my arms and wouldn't let go. Sitting there laughing (she's nutz) with a devilish grin. I was crying something terrible (because I didn't know my way home - but we lived right across the street from each other - LOL). When I say, I duuuuuuuggggg my nails into her hands down to the white meat. Got so much DNA under my nails, we are blood sister's now! Hell, her DADDY in my text messages RIGHT NOW! LMAO

  • Yoni7

My daughter had ONE incident on the bus at 5-years old. This lil girl (big for her age) scratched my baby's face up something terrible and then chased her home. My daughter has NEVER been the type to fight. Welp, guess who mama was at the school the next morning? Yep, me. Nipped that right in the bud. I knew the girl's mama too. Came from a fugged up fam to begin with, so her daughters actions were no surprise. But you ain't gone let something you didn't correct, fukk wit mine! Because you don't want THIS smoke.

  • Lolly Asher

    Yep

  • SingleGalCrazyWorld

Unless their kids are mentality challenged there is no reason for a parent to be afraid of their child...these new age parents are because they were too lenient on their children and wanted to be their friend instead of parenting...they shower their kids with Jordans and I-phones when their kids are failing at life and school...my grandma said all children should have a consequential fear of their parents until they become adults...it shows a sense of respect and keeps them in check...these lil bed bug urchins running around dont have fear or respect which means they were raised wrong...

My youngest son (the only one I have left still in school since my other son graduated 2 years ago) knows I will pop up and his teachers are all in communication with me. I did a pop up last month and sat with him in ALL his classes one day. His teachers appreciated it. I sat in the back of his classes and worked in silence while I was in there. I rarely have issues with him, thank God, but he's a typical teenage boy so issues arise from time to time.

  • Bonita

Very sad to hear. But one thing I learned while raising my own kid is that who they are at home isn't who they are at school. We always wanna believe that are kids can do no wrong, but they're usually not as innocent as we think they are.

  • NewNew

Aha, I see your point. I just heard about this story yesterday. Sad as all hel?

  • Sacha

    Nope

  • Y’all Jealous Cuz I’m Prudy

Yep, and they're all saying she was the bully.

I know people can group together to lie but I'm sure there is a pattern that will expose who the real bully was.

Maybe that child who kïlled her was being bullied to the point where he/she snapped. Sad and all but parents need to teach their children that it's consequences to bullying others.

She didn't deserve to die and my heart goes out for the mom but if she was in fact the bully, the other kids are probably happy she's gone now.

Now, If she was being bullied, the mother needs to pursue this with a vengeance and hold the school accountable. It can be hard especially if the teachers are willing to group together to cover up the truth but again, a pattern should expose the truth.

Hopefully, the truth will come out.

True but they are children so they probably didn't know what to do. Shoot, grown folks watched that man kick the hell outta that old lady on the train so we can't hold children to a higher standard.

Part of the reason stranglers are so dangerous is because strangulation takes so long. They are feeling the life drain from the victim and choose to continue. Shooters are somewhat removed from the victim by distance. Strangulation is deliberate, up close and personal. So scary.

...was it worth the pay? Yes, says no one ever.

  • Yoni7

I was thinking she may have hit her head on a desk or something......but strangulation? Now THAT is some "grown folks" fighting right there. And IF a girl did it, her brother taught her how. IJS

  • Blue

    Wow

  • that_VA_thickchick

I dated a guy in my early 20s that used to choke me when he got mad. Do you know I actually justified i like "but he doesn't hit me". I'm surprised he hasn't killed anyone yet. That mofo was crazy as hell. Like he literally went RIGHT for my throat every time he got mad.

  • NewNew

I'm glad you are still alive. You are blessed. We can justify all manner of crazy things, it's amazing.

  • http://realitytea.com Goddess

...they're all saying she was the bully.
It is a sensitive and sad situation which is probably why they are being careful about the information they're sharing.

  • NewNew

I wonder why. Is it a cultural thing, or an economic/poverty thing? This needs to be studied so it can be reversed

  • NewNew

That makes me so sad. It teaches the wrong set of values to the child. I hate seeing that type of thing.

  • Marlika

Exactly. These parents can buy their kids iPhones, games consoles and a bunch of other expensive shat that don’t need but can’t get life insurance.

  • Yoni7

    I figured as much.

.... and then let/tell the school to call Me. I'm not going to show up and act a fool, however, this is my child and no one can replace him. Lord, I need to go outside for a minute.

Amen! That's right! I don't doubt it for a moment

  • Bonita

    Ahhaahaa

When I say "across the street." But in MY defense, we lived in a house, they lived in an apartment complex. Those complexes were complex, especially for a 5-year old kid that never left her front yard. LOL

  • Hunni24

  • Jethro

    WTF???

  • the guest

This is very tragic. Read somewhere that state has worst public schools in the country. She's a pretty little girl with a loving family. There needs to be more affordable safe private schools for good kids.

  • Yup, I said it

I know. Growing up they used to always say "sticks and stones..." In other words we were taught to pay no mind to words. You cant control what someone says out their mouth. Dont give negative people your energy. They also taught us that if someone put their hands on you you beat them like a who're in the street. It gave us a balance.

  • StoneColdLady

See THAT is a sticky situation, they children probably were the ones who got help since the sub was out of the room. The reason I say sticky is because ALL teachers aren’t “qualified” to break up fights in my district and if you or the child gets hurt while doing so you are on your own and it could cost you your job

  • YellowSauce

Schools need to be held more accountable while students are in their care and they will begin to take this more seriously ... HOW does a child get choked out in class and no adults were around???? Also there needs to be more weight on the person that actually IS doing the bullying because prosecuting the person that is defending themselves IS NOT CORRECT EITHER ...People must defend themselves or continue to be bullied ...disciplining both is not justice for the person that was really actually living their life before being picked to be bullied ....

  • StoneColdLady

Thank you but that is why I asked HER the question. I agree bullying can be ignored by some, but I also understand that “bullying” is the new catchphrase! My parents, were well known and EVERYONE knew my daddy didn’t play; but he didn’t have to go to the school because KiKi didn’t like my hair and it hurt my feelings. We got the don’t start nothing speech and if someone hits you “try” to tell and adult it you got hit again hit their asses back and it you can’t beat the pick up something and go to work and HE would handle the rest. Now if I told once and nothing was done EVERYONE in the office knew there would be a problem, but NEVER what someone said made “us” commit suicide and my mama darn whole wasn’t coming up there because of what a child SAID especially if it wasn’t a threat

  • Trace da Ace

And add to that list all of these social media flossers/Gold diggahs and Gold Niggahs that post every piece of gold, diamond encrusted teeth, Louboutins, expensive as hell sneakers etc..... but something happens to their trifling behind family putting up a Go Fund Me. Sell that ish!

Well I’ll just say this, a few weeks ago, my ex-friend had strangled his girlfriend in a domestic violence incident as well as destroyed her belongings and much more.. she reported it and got a restraining order and a week later he killed her then himself in a murder-suicide..so your comment is on point.. I’ve been choked by my ex in the past too but I got away from him

It was this damn girl up there named Antoinette. Will never forget her. She just decided she aint like me and would mess with me every DAY for legit no reason other than: A. I was small for my age so easy target. B. She was older than me (8th grader). C. She thought it was cute.

He turned school upside down bc they claimed they couldnt do anything about it and tried to make it seem that riding the bus was a privl. so he cussed them out every time I came home crying and then eventually got tired of their non action and went to the school board and lodged formal complaint. Against the school AND the girl and her parents. In the end HER ass was removed from the bus. Took 2 months tho.

  • bemetoo

I have never seen kids that can flip the switch faster than Catholic school girls. All of them are a little Cardib in training when they open those doors at 3:30. Here in the DMV they take great pride in their ability to act slutty and swear like sailors.

  • ?Patty Kakes?

Thats sooooo sad. When I was in 5th grade we would have never thought to do anything like this. That's crazy, God bless that poor child soul.

  • NewNew

Thank God you made it out. I'm sorry to hear about your friend. What a waste of 2 lives.

  • AListDiva29

I hope her parents sue the parents of whoever the kids that did this! It's a shame the teacher walked out and this happened in a matter of minutes. What is wrong with children today? Start holding the parents legally and financially responsible and maybe this nonsense will stop!

  • Indies beauty

How sad but kids these days are sooo mature and growned. Im a substitute for Orange County Florida (Orlando) and 5-8th are my least favorite. But Ive worked in a school where some of the third grade boys in the class where talking about gang's and when i called security for a student who threw his bag and desk, him and the other third grader that came with security tried to jump another kid! Like da hell? Your in third grade!!

Honestly, I never fault the kids because everything falls on the parent. But its sad because I will work at a magnet school and the kids are night and day.

  • AListDiva29

I feel bad for the teacher, I'm sure they would never think this would happen! U shouldn't have to worry about kids acting like this!

  • Indies beauty

What county is this? I may have acess to the the sub and the official school statements...

  • AListDiva29

I had a friend teach at an inner city school for third grade (age 7-8) and she quit and left for a private charter school after a year. She had a kid pick up a desk and throw it at her, spit on her, and parents come in and yell at her for correcting their child calling her every name in the book! The parents would even say well what did u do to make my kid say that to u? Raising kids starts at home! They should start issuing licenses to breed as far as I'm concerned!

  • lovelygamour

do you know how much effort it takes to kill someone by choking? what was the substitute teacher doing for that long and how mad did the victim make the other student. what was the other kids doing. you guys are raising a nation of cowards. someone couldve knocked on the next doors classroom. is this a case where the whole class ganged up and bullied one girl or was the girl the bully and the other kids let it happen. how much tv did the suspect watch to even attempt a choking.

I will say that if i had a kid and they was bullied and they told me it was more than 5 i would pull them form the school. it never gets better. especially when dealing with poor kids or kids that are neglected at home. you just have to leave before the constant fighting/abuse effects the kid.

  • pynkrose407

@StoneColdLady I am FINALLY glad to hear someone else say the same thing I have been saying, at my son elem school they are so quick to say oh someone says your sonis "bullying" them and I be like well what did he say cause I know he jokes and "jone" on kids as they all do...I tell the principal that the word "bullying" is used to loosely and the schools amp it up, yes there kids being bullied but joking and cracking on each other is not bullying to me its a bunch of sorry parents raising kids to not take words that dont mean anything to me and toknow their worth, like i told the prnicipal i know my chile jokes and cracks and i know the chile is also doing so as well but they wanna cry to momma and daddy and call it "bullying" when its not...sorry iteach my kids the ole saying "sticks and stones may break your bones but words will never hurt you and people will talk about you til the day you DIE" Know that you are better than what people say about you that dont know you!

  • lovelygamour

i am learning so much about the carolinas recently. a guy was feuding with a guy from south carolina and he said, "thats a south carolina thing; they completely tear you down and then want to be friends". i thought about it and he is absolutely right. they go for the nuclear option everytime and then want to make friends. black or white doesnt matter. I think its that gang mentally. "I am going to get you encase you have backup".

  • Yoni7

They're 5th graders. I can see them being in shock. Now grown folks? They're stupid.

  • lovelygamour

people are raising victims. when i was in school 10 kids wouldve ran out to tell. unless that girl bullied the whole class i dont see why one didnt run. its possible they didnt think their parents would back them and the strangler would strangle them.

  • Yoni7

LOL I just said something similar to your first paragraph. LOL

  • Queen B

How did this child die? ?

  • lovelygamour

i said this about jackie aina family putting up a gofundme to fly their grandmother to nigeria. I was ripped to shreds because "you never know someones finances. everyone wants to brag but no one wants to plan. i think its awful that a family cant chip in. in my state you can prepay a funeral and the funds are held in special bank accounts. how about term life insurance. however, a parent can buy whole life insurance cheap if they buy it in the first couple of years.

  • lovelygamour

I wrote ages back about that. I have seen a lot of formerly gay people. I honestly think that due to how the world sees them they think being gay is easier. I know so many that say, "im gay but i just so happen to currently be with this woman". plus, i work in entertainment were its easier for a man to be gay. being gay gives them a story and it opens door cause they are seen as non-threatening.

as long as the guy doesnt get roped into the sexual aspect its no big deal. so many gay guys say the dont like kissing. my question is do they really like men or do they just like being a member of this club. plus, you have the money aspect. i know quite a few gay4pay that wont even cheat on the gay guy because they are taking care of.

thats why i dont want to hear about peoples sexually. especially kids. dont even talk about it. i want to know if someone has declared themselves gay but i dont like speculation.

  • lovelygamour

a person who has known me my whole life exited outtta my life november 2018. i noticed the difference within a month. I understand "no contact" now. people can sabotage you and not even mean it. I dont beleive in letting peoople in early but she did. she was basically telling people how to treat me before i met them. I miss her but i am glad she is gone.

If i ever had a kid that had to deal with that I would pull them from the school. I know now that it doesnt get better until someone leaves.

  • C Mack

Doesn’t that violate the code of ethics for you to share that? Not sure how SC works but GA educators wouldn’t be allowed

  • the guest

In a school with teachers around????

I believe if a child is threatened even one time by a student or teacher, take it seriously and take them out of the school. Don't play Russian Roulette with a child's life. There is no inconvenience greater than the safety of one's child.

  • Renee26

Damn...she sounds controlling. How you fix ya mouth to tell other people how to treat anybody but yourself??

  • NewNew

Great minds Yoni, great minds . . .

  • Renee26

Ion think kids necessarily have "sexuality" they're virgins. Their attraction to people is fluid as kids... Ever hear or know about 3-5 yr olds masturbating or hunching the same sex, opposite sex and even siblings?? It happens and it's normal in their growth and developmental process. Ion like to label kids based off those things.

I know a lot of gay people. Some were sexually abused, others had feelings for the same sex going back as far as they can remember. We never know what the next person goes through so it's best not to discriminate based on sexuality that's none of our business

  • Leigh Burton

It looks like the substitute teacher is at the unemployment office now. Rule #1-Never leave your classroom unattended!

  • lovelygamour

and for the child to know how to. most people cant choke someone properly. so if it was purely barehands that means the child tried a bunch of times or they learned it somewhere.

  • PlayerP

Whoa...prayers up to family and for justice.

  • PlayerP

Yes...most people are cowards when it comes to standing up for what's right.
But standing up also means putting yourself in harms way. We not built ford tough anymore.

  • PlayerP

    This!

  • PlayerP

Wait...I love this chic. I was just watching a vid last night were she was talking about how much yaper she's making and breaking generational curses...if my friends can put their coins together to go to their grandfather's funeral in Nigeria, then she and hers should be able to fly gma out. I agree about not being in peoples pockets or counting their money but she herself alone seemingly can afford that ticket...interesting

  • PlayerP

I was too scared of my momma to try this...I think all kids feel themselves more when their parental units aren't around...that's natural. A 180 is not

  • PlayerP

We're not talking about babying or raising punks...being present and involved with your child's over all well being is what a parent should do...it's healthy. Too much apathy in the world now a days...which leads to shit like this

  • PlayerP

Man I love this pic...melt every time. Those cheeks!!!

  • http://batman-news.com Joe

When I was a kid teachers stepped out all the time (usually for 5-10 minutes) it was common and I don't blame the teacher for doing that....what I will say is this did not spring out of nowhere...to choke someone out takes a lot of effort and says a lot about the perpetrator and her/his mother/father.

  • http://batman-news.com Joe

A 21 to 1 ratio teacher to student...when I was a kid it was above 40....this school doesn't sound terrible...demonizing this school isn't the answer (and no I'm no teacher or involved in any way) I just feel we need to look at the family life of each child.

  • Chicagowise

I am SOOOOO glad I didn't become a teacher. These children are so violent and so disrespectful, their own parents are afraid of them.

  • Logan Roberts

Wow. I would sue the school, the other child parents, the school board, the substitute teacher, the principal, the original teacher, hall monitors, crossing guards. Everybody I could think of, about my precious child.

  • TheOwley

This is very sad. She was probably kicked in the abdomen resulting in internal bleeding or in the head with a subdural bleed. This happens because kids don't know how to resolve issues amicably.

  • ClaireHuxtable

It's probably been a minute since you were a child, Joe. These kids are a whole nother species.

  • ClaireHuxtable

    Curious...what were #1 & 2?

  • ClaireHuxtable

  • Oretta Grace Smith

    Damn Shame!!!

  • Malificent

    Smh! Jesus take the wheel.

  • http://batman-news.com Joe

True and with that said now I really don't blame her for stepping out....but I go back to what I've said before, you have to look at the family life of these kids...not the school, not the teacher but the family life and see what, why, where and when...I would of never choked a kid when I was young...you know better.

  • StoneColdLady

I think someone DID run and get help because it doesn’t say the sub broke up the fight

  • Parent

Couldn't believe when I heart this on the news this morning. Prayers to her mom and family. How could this happen?

  • Junkanoo

Schools are becoming grave yards kids head off to in the morning to possibly die .This is disturbing and down right disgusting , how long was the substitute teacher gone for it was clearly too long if something like this happened.

  • HoneyHitchcock

When I was a kid the teachers used to leave for an extended time also, but as Claire said, it’s a different time. As a teacher I knew to NEVER leave those kids alone. I’ve had a third grader throw a desk at me WTH??? I’ve had a kid try to stab me with a pencil..... I’ve had a dress almost completely ripped off me breaking up a darn fight between 3rd graders. A teacher should never leave a class unsupervised.

  • Rhondalousey

Good , then maybe these teachers can do more and these kids wouldn't keep getting hurt.

  • Phillybruh

This sounds like the person she was bullying had enough. That's why it's important that you make sure your kids are taught to keep their hands to themselves, because you might catch them on the wrong day. Every school year should start with age appropriate conflict resolution classes my kids get one at the beginning of every school year.

  • Queen B

    Omg that's horrible

  • lovelygamour

its awful cause in my situation it took a lot of dots to connect that she was the one burning my name. she would ask all these thoughtful questions and then run all around town talking. someone just told me out of the blue, "she just undercut everything you said". i was shocked cause we not in the same business. so years later i really confront her and she said" when you run out of things to talk about you start talking about people". i know she is just covering up but damn. thats crazy. like i am done trying to figure her out. and she went no contact on ME. im the one that was victimized.

  • Braxton P. Hartnabrig

No where in news report are mothers statement says that the mom continually went to school officials about her daughter being bullied by another student. One can lead that the mother didn't teach her daughter how to resolve conflict the more reasonable way. Why didn't this young girl run to an adult once this student initiated a fight with her like her mommy taught her to? I said this before, the new come up is black women not raising their children right and then go sue or start a gofundme account. Compare to the Indians from India, black women are the worst parents to be responsible for raising kids.
