Rapper Tip “T.I.” Harris, right, is confident that Nipsey Hussle, left, would defend his honor if someone insulted his estranged wife, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, if he was dead. The father-of-7 took to his Instagram Story to explain why he defended Nipsey so aggressively after SoundCloud rapper Kodak Black disrespected the slain rapper’s fiancee, Lauren London.

Nipsey, 33, was shot and killed outside his clothing store in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 31. His killer, Eric Holder, is in jail awaiting trial.

In the video, which was widely circulated on the blogs on Wednesday, T.I., 38, explained that he defended Nipsey because the West Coast rapper would have done the same for him.

“I only wanna handle [Nipsey] the way I feel that he would handle me. That’s it. If a muhfu*ka were to speak out and say something outta line about my old lady after my untimely demise, I feel like he… he ain’t just gon’ speak up, he gon’ pull up.”

But T.I.’s fans politely disagreed with the Trap Museum founder. They reminded him that Kodak Black insulted his baby mama, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, while he is still alive – and he still has not responded or defended his wife publicly the way he defended London.

Kodak, 21, reportedly took to Instagram Story this week, and said nobody would want Tiny if T.I dies.

Those would be fighting words for any other husband, but T.I. remained remarkably calm.

T.I. and former Xscape lead singer, Tiny, 43, live in separate households in Atlanta after years of rampant cheating rumors. T.I. supports at least three separate households in Atlanta. T.I. and Tiny married in 2010 and separated in 2016. The stars of VH1’s T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle share three biological children together.
