Wendy Williams was seen out and about in New York City for the first time since being body shamed by washed up rapper Bow Wow on Twitter.

The pint-sized former rapper caught heat online for body-shaming Wendy, 55, who suffers from a disfiguring medical disorder.

The single mom seemed unfazed by the drama as she exited Chelsea Studios on Monday.

She was dressed casually in a black print t-shirt with the words “Break up with him”, black leggings, and a $45,000 black crocodile Hermès 35 Berkin handbag.

Earlier in the week, Wendy was in a good mood outside the Chelsea Studios where her popular daytime talk show is taped. She wore a grey t-shirt and cut off denim shorts.

The drama started last week when Williams called out the ‘Like Mike’ star during the “Hot Topics” segment of her popular daytime talk show, The Wendy Williams Show. During the feature, Wendy slammed the rapper for being “distasteful”, when he changed the lyrics of his song “Like U,” which he originally recorded with ex-girlfriend Ciara, to say: “I had this b–ch first. You know that, right?”

Following Wendy’s comments, the 32-year-old – real name Shad Gregory Moss – retaliated by posting a snap of Williams in a bikini on Twitter, writing in the caption: “They say its a hot girl summer.” He ended the post with laughing and sick face emojis, as well as a hazard sign.

Outraged fans were quick to jump to Williams’ defense. One wrote, “You need to put ‘Lil’ back in front of your name because clearly, you’re still a child,” referring to his former moniker Lil’ Bow Wow.

Another user wrote, “You literally have a daughter… body shaming aint the move,” while singer Ari Lennox tweeted, “You’re disgusting”

Wendy recently revealed she was diagnosed with lymphedema which causes irreversible swelling in her legs.
