The Atlanta police appear to dispute Tameka “Tiny” Harris’ story that someone broke into her Lamborghini SUV and stole a reported $750,000 worth of diamonds and pricey watches.

Tameka, 44, claims a thief broke into her Lambo truck while she had drinks with a friend at Bar Amalfi in Atlanta’s Midtown neighborhood over the weekend.

Tiny parked her Lamborghini SUV in the restaurant’s lot around 8:45PM and returned to the car at 9:45 pm, only to discover a thief broke into the pricey vehicle and stole her jewelry.

The jewelry was stored inside a blue velour bag which she accidentally left on top of the center console.

Among the jewels were diamond wedding rings, expensive watches and diamond stud earrings, according to WSB-TV.

Tameka is reportedly “devastated” over the loss of her jewels – most of which are irreplaceable gifts from her husband, rap mogul Tip “T.I.” Harris, 39.

Not long after Channel 2 Action News broke the story on Monday, rumors spread that the jewelry heist was part of an insurance scam.

According to reports, Tiny’s friend went out to the car to retrieve something. And police say there were no signs of a break-in or damage to Tiny’s SUV.

Via WSB-TV — Police told Channel 2 Action News there were no signs of a break-in or damage to the $200,000 SUV, but Harris told police she believed someone took the bag from her Lamborghini.

On Monday, Channel 2’s Audrey Washington spoke with two sources, one an APD source who was at the restaurant Sunday night.

Both sources told Washington there was security in the parking lot and that they did not witness anything suspicious.
