Azriel Clary, one of R. Kelly’s long-suffering girlfriends is beginning the healing process after reuniting with her family, WENN.com reports.

Clary, best known as one of the incarcerated singer’s “sister wives,” danced with her family at a photo shoot for a reality TV series, titled “On the Run With Azriel.”

The 21-year-old aspiring singer was the subject of Lifetime’s documentary series, Surviving R. Kelly. In previous interviews, she vigorously defended him along with Kelly’s other girlfriend Joycelyn Savage.

Despite Clary’s family alleging that Kelly kept her away from them, Clary revealed on Monday that she’s started the “healing process” with her loved ones.

“Surprise,” Clary captioned a series of Instagram photos alongside her parents and siblings. “Let the healing process begin. Love yall and thank y’all I even thank everyone who follows me.. because you all believed in me when I could not believe for myself.”

She added the hashtag “#movingontobetterdays”.

Another photo shows Clary wearing colored contact lenses while sipping a watermelon daiquiri at Benihana.

Clary was recently involved in a brawl with her former sister wife Savage, who was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery after allegedly punching her when she arrived at Kelly’s Trump Tower apartment in Chicago, Illinois to collect her belongings.

In a video that went viral on social media last week, Clary accused Savage of molesting her during three-way sex with Kelly when she was underage.

Kelly, 53, was arrested last year on a 13-count federal indictment for sexual abuse of minors in Chicago. He is also facing a racketeering and sex trafficking trial in New York.

He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
