According to a record label source, Lizzo’s people pleaded with Twitter.com to remove memes and tweets asking President Trump to drop the obese pop star on Iran amid threats of retaliation for the killing of an Iranian general.

Lizzo’s camp reported the posts to Twitter, saying they “fat-shamed” the pop superstar on the social media platform.

Some of the posts contained memes featuring a photo that showed Lizzo posing in the nude. The photos were superimposed on images of B2 bombers and fighter jets. One illustration depicted Lizzo as a whale.

There was also a video of the aftermath of a nuclear bomb explosion. The video was captioned: “When Trump drops Lizzo’s fat ass in Iran.”

Thousands of Twitter users retweeted the memes on Lizzo’s timeline so she would see them.

Lizzo abruptly quit Twitter.com after complaining about the negativity of “trolls” on the platform.

“Yeah I can’t do this Twitter s**t no more.. too many trolls,” she tweeted on Sunday. “I’ll be back when I feel like it.”

Many speculated that she was forced off social media by bullies who constantly reminded her of her spat with Dr. Boyce Watkins.

The 31-year-old Detroit native was the target of Watkins, who said she is popular because there is an obesity epidemic in America.

But my source said the real reason Lizzo left Twitter was the plethora of humiliating posts about Iran.

The source described Lizzo as “depressed” and “humiliated” over the online harassment. He said Twitter staff told her the messages didn’t violate Twitter’s policies on abusive content.

You be the judge. Are the following posts abusive or considered bullying?
