Money isn’t everything. Former White House aide Hope Hicks left a coveted $1 million/year job with Murdoch’s Fox Corp. to return to her gig at the White House.
Hicks, 31, will return to the White House in the next few weeks, according to published reports.
Hicks’ abrupt exit from the White House in 2018 raised eyebrows, amid reports that Melania Trump felt uneasy about the younger woman’s presence around her powerful husband.
Hicks was one of Trump’s original cabinet members from 2016 when he defeated Hillary Clinton in a landslide victory. Trump is very fond of Hicks and speaks very highly of her.
Hicks leaves behind her $1 million-a-year job as head of communications for Fox Corporation, the parent company of Fox News.
