Democrats fear President Trump will exercise his executive powers to postpone the November elections and remain in power amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Health officials in the U.S. report 500 cases in 26 states. The death toll stands at 22 — all but one are elderly.

The news media continues to spread panic, despite 20,000 deaths from the common flu since December, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Democrats and liberals took to Twitter.com last week to suggest Trump may try to exploit the coronavirus outbreak to postpone the November elections.

Meanwhile, President Trump has accused Democrats like New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo of attempting to politically weaponize the coronavirus outbreak to tank the economy and put the blame on him.

The president attacked Democratic governors who declared a state of emergency over one or 2 coronavirus cases in their states.

As the panic spread among Democratic stronghold cities, Americans saw dwindling supplies of food and essentials on store shelves.

But at a local Publix in a conservative area of Gwinnett County on Sunday, your auntie observed shelves fully stocked with water, paper towels, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, alcohol and bottles of Theraflu.

There was no sense of urgency or panic in the store, as shoppers exchanged smiles and greetings in the aisles.

Coronavirus causes flu-like symptoms among healthy people younger than 50. It causes severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and potentially fatal pneumonia among the elderly population.

Those most at risk are Asians, the elderly with chronic conditions, and those with weak immune systems (such as HIV patients).

If you have flu-like symptoms (cough, fever, sore throat), the CDC advises you to stay home and self-quarantine for 14 days. Wash your hands frequently, eat a balanced diet and drink plenty of fluids.

Go to the emergency room if you experience shortness of breath or chest pain.
