Kourtney Kardashian claims the coronavirus pandemic is a punishment from God for all the “evil” in the world.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star took to Twitter.com to share a passage from the Bible about epidemics and pestilence with the unwashed masses on social media.

The passage was originally shared by born-again rapper Young Thug. It had “pay attention children” scrawled around it in red ink.

The passage reads:

“Whenever I hold back the rain or send locusts to eat up the crops or send an epidemic on my people, if they pray to me and repent and turn away from the evil they have been doing, then I will hear them in heaven, forgive their sins, and make their land prosperous again.”

The Bible verse began to gain momentum online after swarms of locusts hit areas in Asia and South Africa in January, prompting her fans to compare that incident and the outbreak of Covid-19 to the religious text.

Throughout the global health crisis, Kourtney regularly shares her thoughts on the virus online, and how to handle self-isolation.

Her sister Kim Kardashian, shared a screenshot Kourtney posted in their family group of an excerpt from a book by psychic Sylvia Brown, published in 2008, which appeared to predict the pandemic.

Kourtney, 40, is considered the most stable of her famous siblings.
