Chance The Rapper compared Black men to white women, saying Black men are the oppressors of Black women in the community.

Last week, Chance defended Black female rapper Noname after conscious lyricist J. Cole appeared to take shots at her in his “Snow On Da Bluff” track (listen below).

J. Cole rapped:

My IQ is average, there’s a young lady out there she way smarter than me
I scrolled through her timeline in these wild times and I started to read
She mad at these crackers, she mad at these capitalists, mad at these murder police,
She mad at my niggas, she mad at our ignorance, she wear her heart on her sleeve

She mad at the celebrities, low key I be thinkin’ she talking bout me
Now I ain’t no dummy to think I’m above criticism
So when I see something that’s valid I listen
But Shit, it’s something about the queen tone that’s bothering me

“Yet another L for men masking patriarchy and gaslighting as constructive criticism,” the Chicago rapper tweeted on Monday.

Chance was dragged Sunday on Twitter for retweeting a post calling out Black men for being the “oppressors” of the Black community.

“Black men may be victimized by racism, but sexism allows them to act as exploiters and oppressors of women.”

167 people were wounded and 29 people killed, including 4 children, in weekend shootings in Chance’s native Chicago over a 7-day period.
