Wendy Williams posted a birthday tribute to her son filled with keepsakes from when he was born. But the sentiments of Wendy’s post wasn’t well received by her Instagram followers.

The 56-year-old daytime talk show Diva honored son Kevin Hunter Jr.‘s 20th birthday with an Instagram tribute featuring keepsakes she’d held onto since he was born.

“Today is my biggest day! Son Kevin & I are celebrating his 20th birthday… He’s in Miami & I’m in NYC, but love never stops,” she wrote in the photo caption. “If you look closely you’ll see remains of 1st hair cut, my cerclage is on sneaker, like a mom… I DO have all his teeth.

“I’m not a fan of cake, but today OK… for my son? What are you doing?”

After Googling “cerclage,” some of Wendy’s followers expressed their disgust.

“I’m more concerned about the cerclage … it’s the stitch(es) that hold your cervix closed. Whhhhyyyyy,” wrote one IG user.

Another wrote, “What in the voodoo witchcraft is all that hair.”

But others were more understanding, particularly those with an only child, like Wendy.

“I don’t see anything wrong with this post still have two of my sons hair from their first hair cut and baby teeth and pics,” wrote an IG user.

Kevin Jr. attends college in Miami.

Question: Did you save keepsakes and mementos from when your child was born?
