An Antifa protester was assaulted by a Trump supporter for playing an anti-Trump rap song by rappers YG and Nipsey Hussle.

The incident happened in a convenience store parking lot in Denton, Texas on Saturday.

Trump supporters held a small rally outside the Buc-ee’s convenience store in support of President Trump, who was under observation at Walter Reed Medical Center after testing positive for Covid-19.

Jason Lata was arrested after he punched an Antifa protester who played an anti-Trump rap song, “F**k Donald Trump,” in his pickup truck.

In cellphone footage, Lata and another man confront the protester, as the song played in the background. Lata yelled profanities and screamed “Turn it off!”, before punching the man in the face.

The song is by rappers YG and the late Nipsey Hussle. It was released in 2016 as part of a movement to motivate Black rap fans to vote for Hillary Clinton.

Don’t let Donald Trump win, that ni**a cancer
He too rich, he ain’t got the answers
He can’t make decisions for this country, he gon’ crash us
No, we can’t be a slave for him

Lata was booked into the City of Denton Jail and bail was set at $15,000.
