Surgeons have saved rapper Boosie Badazz‘s foot from amputation after the Louisiana rapper was shot in the leg in a Dallas, Texas parking lot on Nov. 14.

The rap star is already back home in the Atlanta area recovering after multiple surgeries to save his foot.

Sources tell TMZ bullet fragments were removed and surgeons added screws to stabilize the bones while the leg heals.

The 38 year old and his entourage were fired upon in the parking lot of Big T’s Plaza shopping mall, after paying his respects to his artist, the late rapper Mo3, who was shot and killed on a Dallas freeway days before.

Boosie was sitting in a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van before the shooting at the mall and, after shooters opened fire on the vehicle, the musician was struck below the knee.

His manager denied reports that surgeons were prepping to take the “Wipe Me Down” rapper’s foot.

So far, no suspects have been arrested in the case.
