A suspect arrested in the murder of aspiring rapper MO3 (right), allegedly shot his transgender friend in August.

Kewon Dontrell White, 22, was arrested Wednesday after a confidential informant identified White as the gunman who killed MO3, real name Melvin Noble, on a Dallas freeway on Nov. 11.

White was taken into custody at his home in an Oak Cliff neighborhood in Dallas.

Witnesses say White got out of his car and chased Noble after the rapper’s car was disabled on the freeway.

White shot Noble multiple times with an AK-47 pistol, then got back into his car and drove away.

Noble was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

White was also charged with felony weapon possession after police found a 9 mm handgun in his possession during an arrest in November.
