Catcalls video

An average-looking woman wearing tight jeans and a tight top was filmed walking the streets of New York city for 10 hours expecting men to do what men do: notice her.

And in noticing her, they vocalized their appreciation of her feminine attributes -- as heterosexual men have done since the beginning of time. Men instinctively notice women of child-bearing age. It's in their nature.

Millions of women vented their outrage at the men in the video, who did nothing more than exercise their constitutional rights to express themselves in a non-violent manner.

Beyonce and Jay Z

Blogger Seth Adam Smith, a married man, wrote a blog post about overcoming his own selfishness on his way down the aisle with the Love of his life, Kim. Seth describes a conversation he had with his wise dad who told him point blank that marriage is not for men -- though not in those exact words.

His dad's exact words were:

Marriage isn’t for you. You don’t marry to make yourself happy, you marry to make someone else happy. More than that, your marriage isn’t for yourself, you’re marrying for a family. Not just for the in-laws and all of that nonsense, but for your future children. Who do you want to help you raise them? Who do you want to influence them? Marriage isn’t for you. It’s not about you. Marriage is about the person you married.”

Seth's blog post has caught fire all over the Internet, on social media websites and message boards. It's as if Seth's message of self-sacrifice and consideration for others is a new concept in human behavior.

Personally, I think Seth cheated on Kim, and that's what brought about his great metamorphosis. Seth and Kim are high school sweethearts who met when they were 15. It's likely that Kim knows Seth is a dog -- but she married him anyway, because dogs need Love too.

Blue Ivy dreads

Black Twitter is a subculture of the social networking giant Twitter.com. Black Twitter exists to tear down public figures who are at the forefront of urban entertainment. On Black Twitter nothing is sacred; not children, not even the Pope. Black Twitter has decided that Beyonce's daughter, Blue Ivy, was really born a boy, and that she was fathered by an up-and-coming Canadian hip hop artist named The Weeknd (pictured above).

So when photos surfaced online of Blue Ivy wearing baby dreads in her hair, Black Twitter zoomed into action. Check out some of the harsh tweets compiled by Bossip.com after the break.

Actress Stacey Dash sparked outrage when she tweeted her endorsement for GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney. The former "Single Ladies" star tweeted: “Vote for Romney. The only choice for your future." She also retweeted a message from Romney's official Twitter page that read: “Women have had enough of @BarackObama’s disappointment. We need new leadership to get our economy growing again.”

Stacey's twitter followers immediately reacted with controlled rage and indignation. One confused follower wrote “Wait stacey dash is voting for romney? you get a lil money and you forget that you’re black and a woman. two things romney hates.”

And a staff writer for the blog Hello Beautiful wrote: "If Stacey Dash only knew (which she probably doesn’t), Mitt Romney doesn’t exactly support women’s rights. He plans to “get rid” of Planned Parenthood; an organization that funds health services and counseling for women."

The blogger conveniently left out the fact that Planned Parenthood is a racist organization that has played a major role in the mass sterilization of black women.

How ironic is it that a gay man is featured on the cover of a magazine called Snatch? As you know, the word "snatch" is a slang term for a woman's intimate parts -- which we now know Frank wants no part of.

Ocean, 24, became something of a cause célebre among the LGBT community when he came out to his fans and the world just days before the release of his new album, Channel Orange. Many within the LGBT and music communities reached out publicly and privately to the effeminate singer to show their support.

But others are not so supportive.

President Obama sent out this anniversary tweet today -- just 3 years after his wife, Michelle Obama, told People magazine she considered divorcing him.

In the interview with People magazine in 2009, Mrs. Obama revealed that her marriage to Barack was on the rocks. Since then she seems to be cold and distant to her husband in photographs -- especially when she forgets that there are cameras around.

The biggest challenge for a married couple is to keep the spark alive long after the dopamine fades.

The 14-year-old daughter of the late Michael Jackson went on a Twitter rant Wednesday after her aunts and uncles wrote a letter to state executors.

The letter, allegedly written by Janet, Rebbie, Tito, Randy and Jermaine Jackson, explained that the Jackson matriarch Katherine Jackson had suffered a mini-stroke and was in bad health. The letter also called for the executors of Michael's will to resign, saying Michael's will was fake.

An upset Paris took to Twitter.com to denounce her uncle Randy as a liar, but she has since apologized to her family members for discussing family business in a public forum.

She was not scheduled to be a surprise guest on Nicki Minaj's set at the Hot 97 Summer Jam. Rumors swirled that Lauryn Hill and Nas were supposed to come out while Nicki was onstage, but Nicki pulled out of the event after Nicki and her boss, Lil Wayne, took offense to Peter Rosenberg, of Hot 97's morning show, dissing Nicki's attempt at pop music on her last album.

That's a sore spot for Nicki because she thought she was a crossover star, but her album sales were flat when the pop world (read: Caucasians) didn't embrace her new music.

Despite Nicki's departure, the show went on with Lauryn and Nas performing without Nicki.

In a statement on her official twitter account, Ms. Lauryn tweeted:

Facebook is in big trouble.

First, the much-hyped initial public offering of Facebook stock barely cracked its launch price of $38 on May 18 before plummeting to $26 today.

And now shareholders are accusing the world's #1 social network of vastly overestimating the value of its stock by claiming to be worth more than Microsoft, Kraft Foods and Ford Motor company.

Small shareholders, who lost millions on the first day of the IPO launch, are screaming foul amid a flurry of lawsuits and complaints. It seems that Facebook's CEO Mark Zuckerberg knew his company didn't have the revenue to justify his $1 billion valuation.

The shareholders accuse 28-year-old Zuckerberg of dumping millions of shares of his own stock for a billion dollar profit before the IPO launched.

And now, in what some are seeing as a desperate move, Facebook has announced it is developing technology to allow children under 13 access to the network.

The small investors aren't alone; 28-year-old Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is losing, too -- at the rate of $15 million per hour.

Singer Chris Brown apparently disses his former girlfriend Rihanna in the most embarrassing way: on a track.

On "Way Too Cold" -- riding to Kanye West's "Thera Flu" beat, Chris spits:

"Don't fu*k with my old bitches like a bad fur/Every industry nigga done had her/Trick or treat like a pumpkin just to smash her/Bitches breaking codes, but I'm the password."'

Here's Rihanna's response to the track:

And here's Chris Brown's reply to Rihanna:

Oops... All of this kind of answers a question that's been nagging me for about a month now. I will keep that question to myself for right now. But I will say that I don't mind being used, as long as I'm getting something out of it.

The above image of singer Rihanna pummeling Chris Brown's girlfriend Karrueche Tran is Photoshopped, but Rihanna continues to play cat-and-mouse games with Brown's main squeeze.

When Rihanna tweeted birthday greetings to Brown on Saturday, Karrueche quickly followed up with her own tweet. But Rihanna beat her to the punch, so to speak, by wishing a happy birthday to the troubled singer who beat her so badly in 2009 that she was spitting up blood.

You have to feel sorry for Karrueche. She's waging a losing public battle against a superstar who is determined to win her man back.

Samuel L. Jackson is sick and tired of hearing the word "snakes" whenever he flies on a commercial airliner. "Just drive the damn plane!" he recently told a pilot who made a reference to Jackson's role in the campy 2006 film "Snakes On A Plane".

Jackson, 63, was similarly outraged when a movie critic gave his latest film, The Avengers, a bad review. Jackson took to his Twitter.com account on Thursday and urged his 825,000+ followers to help NY Times critic AO Scott find a new job -- "One he can ACTUALLY do!”.

The Avengers, which grossed $300 million so far overseas, and is expected to break box office records in the U.S. this weekend, has been panned by critics everywhere. But Jackson took particular offense to Scott's review of the Joss Whedon-directed Disney film.

Remember I told you kids that Love is expressed through actions and not words? Most women have men who forget they exist when they're not around. Or they woo their women with flowers before they tie the knot, but afterwards their wives only get flowers on Valentine's Day.

But Rihanna's boo thang, Melissa Forde, gets gifts year-round. Rihanna tweeted a pic of herself and her assistant Jennifer Rosales shopping for a gift for Melissa, whose Twitter handle is @mforde11. Melissa stays on RiRi's mind even when she's not around -- and Rihanna wants her 17 million Twitter followers to know it!

Is it just me, or does Rihanna look healthier and happier since coming out of the closet? If you're on Twitter, remember to thank @jennnrosales for keeping Rihanna safe.
