Magazine to Rihanna: ‘We thought you people liked being called the N-word’

A Dutch magazine is catching heat for publishing an article calling Rihanna a “nigga bitch” — words the troubled singer has used to refer to herself in the past.

The Parlourmagazine.com article also stated that Rihanna was from Jamaica — an insult of the highest order to Barbadians who think they’re above Jamaicans.

Rihanna’s fans inundated the magazine’s office with emails, phone calls and online messages expressing their outrage. Rihanna, who was alerted to the magazine’s content by her Twitter followers, reacted with a series of angry tweets on her Twitter.com page.

“I hope u can read english, because your magazine is a poor representation of the evolution of human rights! I find you disrespectful and rather desperate!! You ran out of legit, civilized information to print!” she wrote on Twitter.

“There are 1000′s of Dutch girls who would love to be recognized for their contributions to your country, you could have given them an article. Instead, u paid to print one degrading an entire race! That’s your contribution to this world! To encourage segregation, to mislead the future leaders to act in the past! You put two words together, with the intent of abasement, that made no sense … ‘N—a Bitch’?!….Well with all respect, on behalf of my race, here are my two words for you … F— YOU!!!” Source

The magazine’s embarrassed editor took to Facebook to apologize profusely to the singer and her fans. Editor-in-chief, Eva Hoeke, wrote: “First: thanks for all your responses. We are of course very fed up over this and especially very shocked. However I’m glad that we’re engaging in a dialogue on this page — not everybody does that. Thanks for this. Other than that I can be brief about this: this should have never happened. Period.”

Hoeke also implied that the racist insults toward Rihanna were meant as a joke, especially since Rihanna, and blacks in general, use the most degrading terms when referring to ourselves.

Morning Glory: Rihanna

Egotastic.com found these previously unreleased shots of Rihanna’s under boobs taken during her GQ magazine January shoot. We wonder why GQ didn’t release these photos from the shoot earlier? It’s not like they were protecting Rihanna’s virtue or morals because she has none. Rihanna has always been a slut. We just didn’t know it because she hid that side of herself very well.

Monica Covers Sister 2 Sister Magazine

R&B star and real life Basketball Wife Monica covers the January 2012 issue of Sister 2 Sister magazine. Inside, she shares exclusive family photos with S2S and tells Publisher Jamie Foster Brown about her life with her hubby, L.A. Lakers star guard Shannon Brown: when she knew he was “the one,” how they make their blended family work, what’s up with her girlfriends Keyshia Cole and Brandy, and why the release of her new CD was pushed back.

Also, in this issue, local club promoter Omar “Slimm” White, 28, talks about why he dumped his 48-year-old fiancee, Vivica A. Fox; why he likes older women, and why celebrity life doesn’t faze him.

About him and Vivica being on the cover of S2S, Slimm said, “Nah, she didn’t tell me. Honestly, I haven’t spoken to her in about two months…I’m assuming that when she got the word that (the interview) would happen, she probably was banking on us getting back together…But my thing is, I’m not going to marry a person if I’m not happy. That’s why I had to step back. Like, we’re not compatible no more. It’s just time to move on.”

S2S also has exclusive pics of singer Fantasia, her man Antwaun Cook and celeb guests at Fantasia’s baby shower. See even more photos at S2Smagazine.com/FannysShower

Afternoon Delight: Lindsay Lohan Covers Playboy **NSFW**

Earlier this week Playboy magazine’s Jan/Feb 2012 issue, featuring Lindsay Lohan on the cover, leaked online. Now comes word that the entire photo layout, featuring butt naked Lohan wearing a blond wig and bright red lipstick ala Marilyn Monroe, has been uploaded on Tumblr.com.

Lindsay’s artful layout is beautiful and surreal. I’m sure it’s what her mom wanted when she ordered the photographer to redo the shoot. Reportedly, Lindsay was paid a cool million to do this cover shoot.

Vivica A. Fox Speaks Out About Failed Engagement to Slimm

Actress Vivica A. Fox spoke up about her failed engagement to local club promoter Omar “Slimm” White, 28. In an interview with Access Hollywood, Vivica, 48, acknowledged that she might have a problem rushing into marriage based on physical attraction.

“Sometimes in relationships there are warning signs,” Fox told Access Hollywood. “And I think that once you get older, I’ve been married before, that if there are warning signs, that you should pay attention to them before you get families involved and all the hoopla and things like that, and if things aren’t working out it’s ok to move on.”

White and Fox called in quits in November 2011, after a 10-month engagement. Fox said she hasn’t put herself back on the market yet but is thinking about trying to mix up her dating habits.

“I told myself that I’m gonna try something different next time because I happen to fall in love with a six pack and a smile,” she said. “And look what that’s gotten me.” Source

Kim Kardashian knows she is wrong for this one

Did anyone watch ‘Kim & Kourtney Take NY‘ last night? The episode took up where last week’s episode left off — after Kim’s new husband, Kris Humphries, packed his bags and moving back to his home in Minnesota where he could live in peace.

It seems that the show’s producers saw no problem with a grown man sharing a hotel suite with his wife, another couple and their screaming kid. So when Kris left, the producers urged Kim to follow her man to Minnesota and bring him back. Because, after all, didn’t she marry him for the show?

When Kim arrived in Minnesota, Kris said, “I’ve missed you: I haven’t missed living with everyone — crying babies, weirdo yoga teachers. I’ve been able to focus here … I’m chilling.”

When Kim insisted that Kris return to NY with her, the NJ Nets player explained that in the off-season he still had to train to keep in shape. And his trainer is there in Minnesota.

We watched the manipulative Kardashian use her feminine wiles to goad Kris into returning to NY to live in a cramped suite with his wife, his sister-in-law, Kourtney Kardashian, her baby daddy, Scott Disick, and their kid.

There’s a reason the show is called ‘Kim & Kourtney Take NY‘ rather than ‘Kim, Kourtney & Khloe Take NY‘. It’s simple: Khloe has way too much respect for her husband, Lamar Odom, to ask him to leave the city where he trains in the off-season, to live in a hopeless situation just for television ratings.
