YouTube Sensation, Kreayshawn, Signs $1M Sony Deal
According to online reports, YouTube rap sensation Kreayshawn’s Internet buzz is so loud that mega record labels are taking notice. The baby faced 20-year-old has reportedly landed a $1 million record deal with Sony Music.
When she’s not rapping, the self-proclaimed “occasional lesbian” directs music videos for East Bay rapper Lil B.
Since her performance at SXSW in Austin, Texas in March, Kreayshawn has had the Internet going nuts. Rumored to have recently signed a $1 million contract with Sony after dropping her new video, ‘Gucci Gucci,’ which accrued 1.6 million hits on YouTube in two weeks, Kreayshawn is the next logical step for hipster hip-hop fans, following fellow West Coast oddball-indie success stories Odd Future and Lil B. Earlier this week, Kreayshawn hinted that the Sony deal was on the table:
“[As far as the deal with Sony] nothing is finalized yet,” she told Complex. “We took meetings with every label. They’re not the only people we met with. We’ll make an announcement when everybody is ready, but right now, that’s basically just a rushed ahead rumor. It’s not that exciting. Whatever we end up choosing, it’s going to be a well-thought out decision.” (Complex)

My regular readers will remember Jai Jai, who gained instant notoriety when rapper Shawty Lo leaked graphic cell phone pics of her to a gossip blog last year.
Shawty Lo hooked up with Jai Jai when she was a streetwise 16-year-old. Despite the fact that he was already in a committed relationship, the two dated on and off for years.

Bubblin’ Under Feature Artist Nikki Jane Makes Billboard Charts!

I just got word from Nikki’s sister Kim Burse (who also happens to be Beyonce’s tour creative director), who said Nikki just made the Billboard charts! Nikki’s single “I Love You” entered the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles at #2! The hawt single also charted at #13 on the Hot Singles Sales chart.
Nikki Jane is currently doing In-Stores with F.Y.E as well as New Face New Artists and performing in Malls around the country in an attempt to continue building her fan base.
Kim B, who is the CEO 311 Music Group, is so excited! She wrote in her email: “PRAYER CHANGES THINGS!!!! THANKS FOR EVERYONE’S SUPPORT!!”

You may not be familiar with the name Vistoso Bosses, but you will be soon. It’s about to be crazy!
Their hit “Delirious” is blowing up Myspace and YouTube.
Vistoso Bosses are 16-year-old childhood friends Taylah P. and Kelci, two chocolate brown cuties out of Atlanta with a unique style and sound all their own.
Blood lines run deep for the girls. Their auntie is Atlanta socialite Eboni Elektra, a good friend of sandrarose.com who counts Kim Porter among her circle of high profile connects.

He’s known as DA weatherman because he brings it like the weatherman, rain, heat or snow. It wasn’t always C.R.E.A.M. for DA Weatherman who grew up homeless in the streets. From a young age, his motto was “What don’t kill you, makes you stronger!”
His famous name gave him the incentive to build a better life for himself and his family. Now he dreams of opening shelters and buildings for the homeless, and helping those who needs help. M.J.
