According to sources close to Usher and Tameka Foster's camps, the sex tape that's being peddled to the highest bidder purportedly shows Usher's ex-wife Tameka Foster pleasuring him with a strap on device. If you're not sure what that is, Google it.

TMZ was approached several days ago by someone claiming to have the sex tape. The person sent us a short video and two photos. We'll keep this PG-13 and just say ... the people in the video are both givers.

The video and photos are clear -- it's Usher and Tameka.

Sources close to Usher -- without specifically admitting the existence of a sex tape -- tell us they believe this video could have been among the things Usher had stolen out of his car back in December 2009. Usher reported more than $1,000,000 worth of jewelry and electronics taken -- including two laptop computers.

A rep for Usher had no comment.

UPDATE: Foster released a statement to ... saying, "Would I sanction a sextape being out? Absolutely not. I am a mother and entrepreneur. Sex tapes or pornography would not be my lane. I have no desire to be seen in that way."

If you watched Donald Trump's "Celebrity Apprentice" last night, then you saw what happens when you put a bunch of narcissists in a room together and give them a task to complete.

The backstabbing and infighting began almost immediately as NeNe Leakes, Dionne Warwick, Star Jones, Lisa Rinna and LaToya Jackson plotted against each other. Women are easily intimidated by each other. It doesn't take much to make an insecure chick with low self esteem jealous.

When faced with a challenge, it's usually the best narcissist among them who comes out on top. Throw in the fact that every one of these ladies has had some sort of plastic surgery, and you have a recipe for disaster.

Yesterday I told you that singer/songwriter Ne-Yo and his baby mama are expecting their 2nd child. In my post, I mentioned that Ne-Yo was "duped" into believing a boy born in 2005 was his. That statement sparked a series of emails sent from anonymous email accounts in defense of the boy's mother, Jessica.

Well, Jessica, who goes by the professional name Phoenix White, has responded via email and her personal Twitter account, Phoenixontwit.

According to her Twitter bio, the gorgeous single mom dotes on her adorable 6-year-old son, and runs her business empire, which includes her own hair collection, in addition to juggling recording, acting and modeling careers.

I don't know about you kids, but I'm impressed!

Phoenix writes:

Hi Sandra,
I was just sent a link to your site. I just wanted to clarify that I did not send you emails with the statement attached. I am an adult, and if I want to promote myself, I do it the right way. I don't need to be attached to Ne-Yo or whatever is going on with him. He knows that I wish him well and congrats to him and his child. As this only breeds ridicule, and unfair judgement by people who don't know either of us. But I refrained from speaking on this years ago, on purpose to protect my child. And that is important to me. Again, with all do respect, I do not have control over others peoples response to what you place on your blog as it relates to me. I am however in control of how I respond to your assumption, that any emails about this situation are from me, my staff, or close friends, as they know that I am passionate about protecting my son. I appreciate whomever is trying to defend me, but I don't condone someone responding on my behalf on such a delicate & personal matter. As I know I have no control over what you and other mediums may post. I would appreciate in all fairness that you include my response to your readers, as I know you have a right to choose not to take it down. As I am doing positive things in my life, and this is not a part of my character.

Chanita Foster of TV's "Football Wives" tweeted this pic on her Twitter page moments after the LA Lakers defeated our Atlanta Hawks 101-87 at Philips Arena last night. But the highlight of the game was the sight of R&B Diva Monica, Chanita and her sexy friend, Kimsha Artest (wife of Ron Artest), sitting at courtside with all the other celebrities.

Kimsha's Twitter page is @Msmish37Laker, but her tweets are protected. If you want to follow her you will have to be very creative, or lucky. I requested to follow her but I struck out.

Monica tweeted this pic of her son, Lil Rocko, 5, and Desean Jackson, 24, of the Philadelphia Eagles. Isn't it uncanny how much Desean resembles Mo's husband, Lakers guard Shannon Jackson?

I'm laughing at Evelyn Lozada for suddenly finding her pride and self-respect after whoring herself out for fame and riches on a reality TV show. Evelyn has made a living all her life disrespecting herself for Louis bags. It is hard on a h* out there. She's still winning though.

Sources close to the reality star tell

... Evelyn feels producers violated her trust by allegedly divulging sensitive information about an illicit relationship she had in the past.

We're told Evelyn believes producers leaked the information to a female cast member in an effort to incite a violent confrontation between the two women on the show.

We're told Evelyn feels completely betrayed and even fired off an email to producers last night ... saying she wants to leave the show for good.

So far, no official comment from Evelyn.

Thanks to loyal reader Sweta Shah of 5W Public Relations for sending along these pics from the elegant dinner that took place at the Waldorf Astoria, hosted by legendary entertainer, Bill Cosby last night:

For the 37th year, the star-studded Gala paid tribute to those who embody the humanitarian ideals of Jackie Robinson and who helped raise money for the Foundation's premiere minority scholarship and mentoring program. This 2010-2011 academic year, JRF provided generous financial aid and program support to 220 Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholars representing 31 states and the District of Columbia and enrolled in 92 different colleges and universities across the country.

This year's honorees included Sean "Diddy" Combs (Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Bad Boy Entertainment Group), Ingrid Saunders Jones (Senior Vice President, The Coca-Cola Company), and Joseph R. Perella (Founding Partner, Chairman and CEO of Perella Weinberg Partners) for their charitable and philanthropic contributions and innovation in the music, fashion and financial arenas, respectively.

Mayor Bloomberg made a speech and contributing to the unforgettable evening, Russell Simmons (Founder, Def Jam Records), Ray McGuire (Head of Global Investment Banking, Citi) and Reverend Dr. Calvin Butts III (Pastor, Abyssinian Baptist Church) introduced the nominees. Music artist Chrisette Michele wowed the crowd with a special performance as well.

Actress/singer Raven-Symone, 25, posed with Steve Harvey, a guest, and gospel singer Yolanda Adams after speaking with high school students during "Disney's Dreamers Academy" sponsored by Essence Magazine at Disney's Epcot Center in Lake Buena Vista, Florida yesterday.

Raven, whose personal net worth is close to a billion dollars, told the kids that she cut her hair because her hairline was ate up. Hopefully, she will lead the charge against weave and hair extensions that has robbed our black women of their beauty and elegance.

"Disney's Dreamers Academy" is a career enrichment event at Walt Disney World that features four days of activities geared toward high school students. Local celebrity blogger Tami of Talking With Tami, took her son to the event. Tami provided this video of Raven discussing her new ABC TV show coming out called, "The Great State of Georgia". So watch your local listings for that!

Everyone is talking about the knock down, drag out, weave snatching catfight between Basketball Wives cast members, the mentally unstable Tami Roman, and industry whore Evelyn Lozada.

The street came out in Tami after Evelyn revealed, in such a callous manner, that she had had a prior sexual history with Tami's ex-husband, former NBA player Kenny Anderson.

And how could Evelyn not know that Kenny Anderson was married? "Do you think I researched who dude was with? It was like you didn't even exist," said Evelyn, almost like she forgot how crazy Tami was! Evelyn is such a low life!

On the other hand, the producers knew this fight was coming. That's why it was filmed outside.

Evelyn, who got the worst of it during the exchange, recalls the fight after the break:

In addition to being a tenured professor at Mississippi Valley State, Oprah Winfrey's first cousin, Jo Baldwin, is also an ordained minister who preaches at two churches every Sunday.

Oprah knew that Ms. Baldwin was a deeply religious woman when she hired her to be her speechwriter shortly after the enormously popular Oprah Winfrey Show debuted. Later she promoted Baldwin to VP of her company Harpo Inc, according to

"When I received my PhD in 1985 from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Oprah asked me where I was going to work," said Jo Baldwin in the summer of 2010. "I said I would be applying for a position at Ebony magazine as a copy editor. Oprah said she did not like Linda Johnson Rice [owner of Ebony] and I should come to work for her instead. So I did."

"I was to work for her for three years, but she fired me without notice after two years... I heard from someone later that she got rid of me because she got tired of me talking about Jesus all the time... Oprah preferred the teachings of Shirley MacLaine's books, such as Dancing in the Light and Out on a Limb, which Oprah made me read but I didn't think much of."

It turns out that Shaquille O'Neal's ex-baby mama, Shaunie O'Neal, is just as low down and dirty as Shaq said she was before she ran off with all his money and a much younger man. It's amazing that Shaq had 4 kids with this woman before he realized how ambitious and messy she was. But I digress.

According to Philly radio Queen Miss Jones, Shaunie met with Chad Ochocinco's 19-year-old baby mama Paige last week after hearing that Paige lawyered up and a paternity suit will be filed very soon in the near future.

CLICK below to listen!

As you know, Miss Jones broke the story about Paige carrying Mr. Ochocinco's fifth baby. Of course denials abounded on Twitter, but Ochocinco, 33, has yet to formally deny the allegations himself. Besides that, Miss Jones has irrefutable proof that I can't share with you guys at this time for legal reasons.

But there's more to this sordid story.

According to Miss Jones, Shaunie, 35, offered Paige an undisclosed sum of cash to be quiet about Ochocinco running all up inside her raw while he was supposed to be planning his nuptials to "Basketball Wives" franchise star, Evelyn Lozada, 41.

But apparently, Shaunie's cash offer wasn't enough, so Paige politely declined. Good for her. If they really want to shut her up they'd better publicly acknowledge her seed. All a pregnant groupie wants is a little respect from her seed donor, who in this case is Chad Ochocinco.

It seems that Shaunie realizes her carefully constructed empire will crumble once the public finds out that Chad and Evelyn are not a real couple -- and that their real goal all along was to have several spin-off shows from "Basketball Wives" so they can all eat cake when it's not even their birthdays.

Though Evelyn and Chad's relationship is a complete sham, I don't doubt that Chad is tapping Evelyn's back every now and then while it's convenient -- and because Evelyn really does have a thing for him, but he's not feeling her like that. Something tells me this story will not end well for all parties involved.

NFL star and "Dancing with the Stars" alum Chad Ochocinco, 33, and his "fiancee" Evelyn Lozada, 41, of "Basketball Wives" are seen vacationing in Miami Beach, Florida where they drink wine and listen to music. Chad never fails to grab the spotlight whenever the paparazzi are around. Isn't he romantic?

This particular picture is certain to fuel the down low gay rumors that have plagued the Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver, even though he has 4 kids and one rumored to be on the way with a 19-year-old groupie. Chad and Evelyn skipped the flashing lights and glamour of the rainy NBA All-Star weekend in LA for a little fun and relaxation in Miami where everybody knows their names.

According to the NY Post's gossip column, Page SIX, leggy 46-year-old talk show Diva Wendy Williams is ready to show what she's got as a contestant on the wildly popular tv series 'Dancing With The Stars':

"The Wendy Williams Show" will go on hiatus while she participates next month. Ample-cleavaged Williams -- who would no doubt look great in the show's trademark sparkly outfits -- has been critical of other contestants on the dance competition, especially wooden Kate Gosselin, who she said "dances awkward and horrible." But towering at 5 feet, 11 inches without heels and with even bigger hair, Williams will need a powerful partner to whirl and twirl her. Her rep told us, "We have no confirmation on that." A rep for Williams' show said, "Production hasn't added any last-minute or unplanned hiatus days to the schedule."

The Diva Monica didn't take home a coveted trophy last night, but she was still a winner! Mo, 30, was named the unofficial BEST Dressed winner last night at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards! She looked elegant and stunning in a black floor length Stephane Rolland dress.

Mo tweeted: "Stephane Rolland, I loved wearing your dress tonight. Your work is innovative, classy, yet edgy. Thank u."

Actress Vivica A. Fox, 46, and her fiance, local club promoter Slimm, 25, attended Cash Money Records' pre-Grammy bash on Saturday. They say Viv is a millionaire after making a few excellent investments. Through hard work and perseverance, she gets to have all that money AND a hawt man too!

Mariah's husband Nick Cannon, 30, was spotted loaded down with bags after leaving Tiffany's in Beverly Hills, CA over the weekend. He was dressed in Louis Vuitton from head to toe. Nick reportedly picked up a bunch of rings, bracelets and a watch for his pregnant wifey. Maria is due to drop her twins in April.

Former friend to the blog, Rihanna, 22, aka "Sideshow Bob," was spotted picking her nose while dining with friends at a restaurant in Beverly Hills on Saturday. How classy. Rihanna picked up a Grammy award for Best Dance Song the following night at the Staples Center.  The Media Circuit/

Before you read any further, please click this link and save the article to your favorites so you can read it later.

The article was published in Atlanta magazine in 2009. It chronicles the sad story of a brilliant con artist named Darren Lumar who as a little boy aspired to live in one of those upscale mansions on Tuxedo Road in the wealthy Buckhead enclave of Atlanta.

Lumar eventually did make it to Tuxedo Road, where he lived in a fabulous $1.5 million pristine white mansion with his wife and two beautiful children. But the story doesn't end there.

The story of how he acquired that home, and how he eventually lost all his riches, his family, his mansion -- and his life -- will astound you.

Lumar was married to Dr. Yamma Brown, a pharmacist and the daughter of the late, leendary James Brown.

The well-written article goes into great detail about the abuse, the fights, the stabbing, and everything she endured at the hands of a raging narcissist.

Today, Yamma has found the strength and the insight to see that her father's many absences from home is what caused her emotionally dependency on men like Lumar.

In this video, she gossips about Chilli, Jada Pinkett and Sheree Whitfield ('Real Housewives of Atlanta'). But the real story is the struggles she went through to arrive at the woman she is today.

Here's that link again.

Actresses Syr Law and Vivica A. Fox, 46, attended the Candy Ice Pre-Grammy Affair For Breast Cancer event at the Supperclub in LA on Wednesday. I don't care what anybody says, Miss Vivi is HAWT. By the way, Syr Law emailed me this morning. Hers was one of the emails that I sent straight to the trash bin without reading it (I have to stop doing that). I immediately fished the email out of the trash once I saw her picture. You'll be seeing more of her on this blog.

Nancy Grace, the 'Swift Justice' host, and in-your-grill prosecutor, tells Popeater's Rob Shuter that she knows why Lindsay Lohan isn't in jail for habitual shoplifting.

Grace said what we already know: that there is a different justice system for wealthy, privileged Caucasians, and overindulged celebrities:

"I believe celebrities get into so much trouble because they think the rules don't apply to them," Nancy said. "I think it becomes instinct that they can do, say whatever they want, and there's no repercussions."

The troubled 24-year-old actress is facing felony grand theft charges for allegedly swiping a $2,500 necklace from a jewelry store last month.

"She's on video! She goes in the store without the necklace. She comes out with the necklace," said an infuriated Grace.

Grace said the reason Lohan wasn't immediately "thrown down on the asphalt" and arrested was due to her race and celebrity status.

"Let's just say you send a black girl into that same jewelry story, or an uneducated person or a poor person, they come away with a $2,500 necklace, honey, they would be thrown down on the asphalt and dragged by their feet back into the store and prosecuted!"

Watch the video of Nancy Grace's interview after the break!

NY Yankees star Alex Rodriguez and industry carousel actress Cameron Diaz couldn't take their eyes off each other as they strolled arm-in-arm in NYC today. Diaz, 38, has dated Justin Timberlake, Matt Dillon and Jared Leto in the past. She started dating A-Rod, 35, in July of last year.

Halle Berry covers the March 2011 issue of EBONY magazine. Inside, she discusses the ongoing public custody battle with her ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry over their daughter Nahla, 2.

Regarding Aubry's orders not to call his daughter black, Halle says, "I feel she's Black. I'm Black and I'm her mother, and I believe in the one-drop theory."

The archaic one-drop rule refers to the racist law passed in the 1920s to describe someone who isn't 100% Caucasian.

Halle is wrong, of course. Her argument is based on an archaic law that is not even valid and no longer in use in today's society. I'm embarrassed for her.

Anything that is mixed is no longer original. Anything that is put together to make a whole is still a sum of its parts. I'm not agreeing with Aubry, because he is misguided too. What is wrong with just accepting the fact that their child is biracial: a combination of their races?

Halle recently sat down with EBONY's Editor-in-Chief Amy DuBois Barnett in Chicago to touch on her recent Golden Globe nomination, motherhood, marriage and what motivates her to continually challenge herself in every aspect of her life.

"Being a mother is probably the most important thing in my life right now. Career is important, but nothing really supersedes my roles as a mother. That's the most important thing I'm going to do in this life at this point," she said.

Khloé Kardashian-Odom just gave her haters one more thing to get angry about: she and hubby Lamar Odom have released a new unisex fragrance called Unbreakable.

The couple share intimate moments on the fragrance packaging, as well as in the commercial for their fragrance watch below). "That perfect mix of masculine and feminine. There's a beauty of believing one cannot exist without the other," says Lamar.

26-year-old Khloé says of Lamar, 31, who failed to make the cut for the All-Star game:

"He’s always wanted a unisex fragrance! It took a long time to create what we both wanted and would wear and love, and we found the perfect one.”

While most Super Bowl fans paid upwards of $2,500 per ticket to watch Super Bowl XLV in the nosebleed section of the new $1.2 billion Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, Vivica Fox and her fiance Slimm of Plush Blue Entertainment rubbed elbows with the fabulously wealthy in Jerry Jones' Owner's Box.

The cute couple partied it up with former President George Bush and Laura Bush, former secretary of state Condoleezza Rice, actor Harrison Ford, rocker Richie Sambora of Bon Jovi, actor/comedian Jamie Foxx, actor Ashton Kutcher, Marilyn Rogers (heiress to the Mary Kay cosmetics fortune), former boxing champs Evander Holyfield and Sugar Ray Leonard, actress Regina King, rapper Drake and more!

Slimm, 25, took to his Twitter page to tweet how proud he was to be the only nightclub promoter invited up to the owner's box. That's a far cry from his humble beginnings growing up as a boy in Atlanta. And it's a good look for Plush Blue Entertainment!

Slimm tweeted that out of all the celebrities he met last night, former president Bush was the nicest. He also tweeted that he had taken back all the mean things he ever said about Bush after meeting him in person.

First and foremost, stalking is not funny. It is a federal offense in all 50 states and stalkers who are caught in the act can face up to 90 days in jail -- or more if they commit bodily harm.

That being said, a local radio personality and blogger is herself the victim of stalking in the form of online death threats, and other threats of bodily harm, all because a Lisa Turtle lookalike accused her of being racist on Facebook.

Anh Vu of BeeHive FM radio took to her blog today to share her harrowing experience as a stalking victim with her readers.

Hey Friends,

After being threatened on my YouTube Channel numerous times by different people, I realized the epidemic of lonely, insecure, angry, bitter people in the world is REAL and not something to be played with. A woman took the time to steal pictures from my Facebook page and stole a clip from one of my YouTube videos and created a 10 min. video about me trying to depict me as a racist towards Black Women. Anyone that knows me personally knows that's the furthest from the truth so I'm not even
going to dignify that with a response.

This is a picture of the woman that made me a target in her video:

Anyway, this created a frenzy as I'm sure you can imagine other angry women and men came on her page to bash me. The bashing became so bad that people began to threaten to kick my ass if they ever see me out in public to a woman being bold enough to come on my actual YouTube channel and posted a threat to my life.

The reason I'm writing this blog is to help others that have been a target of negative publicity or threats.
Of course I know negative publicity is going to come with the territory but no one should have to put
up with threats!!

You have rights and this is something that you CAN and SHOULD report. Do not let people get away
with the bullying. That's what bullies do, they try to target those that they feel won't do anything in

Ziggy Marley, 42, the eldest son of revolutionary reggae legend Bob Marley, welcomed a new addition to his family last week.

According to, Ziggy Marley and his wife Orly Agai Marley welcomed a baby boy, Abraham Selassie Robert Nesta Marley, on Jan. 26 in Los Angeles.

This is the third child for the singer-songwriter and Agai, Marley's manager and wife of more than six years. They also have a 5½-year-old daughter Judah Victoria and a 4-year-old son Gideon Robert Nesta.

Ziggy, whose father was a notorious womanizer, seems to be a good husband and doting dad.

Bob Marley's website acknowledges 10 other children besides Ziggy. Marley died of cancer in 1981.

Beyonce? Nope, it's Rev. Run's daughter, reality TV personality, boutique owner and socialite Angela Simmons who is tired of the paparazzi ignoring her unless she's wearing a string bikini. Angela decided to show them that she's a narcissist worthy of their attention even with clothing on. The 23-year-old entrepreneur was spotted leaving the upscale Mayfair Hotel and heading to Funky Buddha Club in London last night.

Reality TV personality and NFL wide receiver Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson, 33, is one of the numerous C and D-list celebrities in Dallas this week to attend the pre-Super Bowl XLV festivities. If the chick interviewing him looks familiar to you, that's because she is Ines Sainz, the curvaceous 32-year-old Mexican reporter who could have sued the NY Jets in 2010 for that sexual harassment drama that she casually brushed aside. Even so, the incident made her a media darling who could have commanded top dollar for interviews. But Sainz, who has several college degrees including a masters in tax law, chose to be taken seriously for her work, and not as a sexy opportunist with a microphone. Good for her!

Actress Dania Ramirez, 31, was spotted arriving at the Los Angeles International Airport with her mystery man in tow in Los Angeles yesterday. I have nothing else to add except what does she see in him?

Reality TV personality Kim Zolciak ('Real Housewives of Atlanta') showed off her baby bump, and the man who caused it (Atlanta Falcons star Kroy Biermann), outside the NY studio where the Wendy Williams Show is taped yesterday. Biermann, 25, is obviously a confident young man who doesn't mind carrying his woman's Louis Vuitton handbag.

Zolciak, 42, went on the Wendy Williams show to promote the season finale of the 'Real Housewives of Atlanta,' which aired last night. As you know, Zolciak was beneficial in helping to bankrupt local land developer Lee "Big Poppa" Najjar, who lost one of the jewels in his crown -- a large shopping center -- to bankruptcy court recently. Once the other lenders heard that he was having cash flow problems, they all cut off his cash pipeline. The only reason we know about him is because he shamelessly squired Kim around town even though he's married with children.

They say Najjar took Zolciak shopping in the trendy Buckhead area of Atlanta and splurged on diamonds and other trinkets to the tune of half a million dollars. That bling Aximum watch ($50,000) and the huge ($100,000) diamond rock she's wearing came from him. Now Kim has moved on to her next target (the young, unsuspecting Biermann). All of this leads me to believe that Kim has good game. It certainly couldn't be her charming personality (or lack thereof).

By now everyone knows (or should know) that season 3 of the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ was a complete sham!

Most of the fraudulent details are already known to you: that Greg and NeNe Leakes were (allegedly) told by the show's producers to fake their marriage problems; that season 3 newcomer Phaedra Parks, a local celebrity attorney (in good standing until now), was forced to admit that her "character" was fake to save her law practice; that the supper club that known con artist Peter Thomas allegedly ran was ALREADY SHUT DOWN even before season 3 started filming, and that the club was reopened just to shoot several key scenes leading up to Cynthia and Peter's wedding (which was all paid for by the show's producers); that season 2 cast member Lisa Wu walked away from the show (with her dignity intact) rather than comply with the producers' request to pretend her marriage to Ed was in shambles (good for her!); and that cast member Kandi Burruss (who is in REAL GOOD with one of the show's producers) agreed to wear that ratty raccoon wig on her head all season just for laughs -- that never exactly materialized.

All in all, the third season of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ was an undignified mess -- a train wreck that left the track even before the season premiered. It will be difficult for the show's producers to top the lack of entertainment, the lack of drama or the boring scripts from this season. Will be there a fourth season? It's highly doubtful, but a key element is the fact that Kim Zolciak is pregnant. No doubt if the show tanks, there will likely be a spin-off featuring Kim and her bastard spawn.

Here's the AJC's Rodney Ho's recap of last night's 90-minute finale, in case you missed it:

Cynthia is talking to her sister about her dire financial situation. They can’t pay the $3,000 guarantee for the bar at the Fernbank Museum, the site of the wedding. She doesn’t have the cash because it all went into the Uptown Restaurant & Lounge Peter had just closed. Her dad can’t give her the money but her mom eventually bails her out.

It’s the morning of Cynthia’s wedding and she looks like she’s ready to go to her funeral. With just nine hours before her weddings, Cytnahis takes a walk by herself to clear her head.

(As a commercial break approaches, the camera guy points to a STOP sign. Subtle!)

Cynthia’ s mom Barbara finds her and expresses doubts. “I don’t like the way he handles his business,” she says. “I did it and see where it got me.” She said she feels Peter is abusing her financially. Cynthia keeps making excuses. “It breaks my heart,” Barbara says. “He needs to take care of you and Noelle.”

But it’s clear Cynthia wants to keep going.

Noted author Terry McMillan stirred up a hornet's nest of controversy yesterday on her Twitter page when she referred to the children of Will and Jada Smith as "arrogant."

Bloggers such as myself applauded Ms. McMillan for being brave enough to voice her opinion on the way Will and Jada push their children into the public eye.

I'm personally disappointed that McMillan caved in to the pressure from her industry friends and retracted her statements.

A certain Superstar asked me for my opinion on this issue this morning. I told her that the mother of Will's oldest child, Trey, obviously instilled values in him and taught him to have high self-esteem. Unlike Jada Pinkett-Smith, who treats her kids like they are her friends.

Here's what Ms. McMillan tweeted today:

I apologize for using the word pimp and exploit in referring to the Smith children. It was insensitive of me and wrong. Twitter is not the best forum to express some things. I didn’t know folks would take my opinion so personally. It is amazing, though, how fast an unflattering comment gets retweeted versus one that’s flattering. I’m done with this issue. My opinion isn’t going to change anything.

There are a lot more important things going on in the world right now. My Mama used to say: “They’ll talk about you if you do. And talk about you if you don’t. Let ‘em talk.” Some folks look for a reason to criticize you. They’re getting off on it and are saying much worse things than I did. I’ve got work to do. I hope everybody who has something important to do today besides worry about the Smith children, does it.

And for those of you who were so offended by what I said or thought I was being disrespectful, unfollow me.

Some women aspire to be the "other woman," -- that sexy, yet brainy, high maintenance jump off who breaks up a powerful man's home and supplants herself in his wife's place. Many notable jump offs -- Kim Porter comes to mind -- never make it as far as the alter.

The former Marjorie Bridges, who married Steve Harvey, 54, in 2007, claims she is not that "other woman" as alleged by Steve's 2nd wife, Mary Shackelford. Marjorie says the scandalous allegations have left her both "shocked and dismayed" -- and she's fighting back by launching a lawsuit to save her carefully cultivated public image as a respected Atlanta socialite.

Marjorie's defense will probably be the same well-worn excuse that all jump offs use when confronted with evidence of their gold digging ways: Steve's marriage was already heading for divorce court.

But not according to Mary Shackelford. Since their 2005 divorce, Shackelford claims she now has nothing, as Harvey also has full custody of their 14-year-old son, Wynton, who was born a year after the couple wed in 1996.

Finally, someone with some common sense (other than myself) has commented on the Smith children and their immature, fame whore parents who force them onto the public.

Noted author Terry McMillian wrote a series of tweets about the "arrogant" Smith children on her Twitter page today.

There is nothing cute about a 10-year-old baby saying she doesn't care about school and doesn't know her times tables. Willow Smith may not need to know her times tables to count her daddy Will Smith's millions, but your kids do need to know how to count. And Willow Smith is the kid that your children are looking up to.

In other unrealistic news: talk show host Sherri Shepherd is telling everyone she wants to fit into a size 2 dress for her upcoming nuptials. The 43-year-old co-host of TV's 'The View' says she hasn't started shopping for her wedding dress yet because she wants to drop enough pounds to fit into a "single-digit" wedding dress.

Sherri recently announced her engagement to TV writer Lamar Sally, who, reportedly, fully accepts her 5-year-old son from a previous marriage.

There is nothing wrong with losing a few pounds to please your man, but drastic weight loss is never advised. The trouble begins when you radically change your look despite the fact that your man doesn't ask you to change anything for him.

Obviously, Sally is happy with Sherri at the weight that she is, or he wouldn't be marrying her. And if he isn't happy with her weight, then why is she marrying him?

It seems as though Sherri is self-obsessed with her body image, and as I wrote yesterday in my Medical Minute post on Body Image Disturbance -- that is always a bad sign.
