The NY Daily News reports that struggling talk show titan Oprah has landed the first interview with Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown.

According to the NY Daily News, the 18-year-old will share her "personal memories” of her mother and how she’d like her to be remembered. Oprah also sat down with Whitney's most trusted confidants, her brother Gary Houston and sister-in-law, Pat. The interviews took place in Atlanta, where Bobbi Kristina once shared a townhouse with her mother.

Winfrey's team also said the family addressed the “rumors and speculation” that have surfaced in the wake of Houston's death on the eve of the Grammy Awards in February.

Houston was found unresponsive in the bathroom of her suite at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Feb. 11, the night before the Grammys.

The special will air on Oprah's OWN cable network on March 11.

Oprah's crown has been tarnished by poor ratings and traitors who jumped ship from her failing network OWN. In the past, the media seized upon the term "Oprahfication", to describe Oprah's powerful influence on pop culture. But it seems that Oprah has lost her magic touch.

Oprah walked away from her syndicated talk show Oprah, in May 2011 on the advice of a terminally ill boy who told her to end her show's successful run at an even number of years: 25.

Now, the 58-year-old media Guru is trying to save her struggling OWN network by doing more of the face-to-face interviews that made her famous.

From Press Release:

Yesterday I received an email containing a "pre-bridal" video of 'Basketball Wives' cast member Evelyn Lozada preparing for her manufactured wedding to NFL player Chad Ochocinco this Summer.

I immediately sent the email to the trash bin without viewing the video. But Essence magazine posted the video on the front page of their website, where my good blog friend Gina viewed it.

Gina, owner of Whataboutourdaughters.com, wrote a scathing editorial about Essence magazine's decision to post the video on its front page.

In her post, Gina blasted Essence.com for promoting a "bridal" photo shoot of Evelyn Lozada on the front page of the website. Gina referred to Lozada as "a hyperviolent, Black woman hating, foul mouth scourge." And she asked where was the logic in highlighting the non-black Ms. Lozada on a website whose tag line is "Where Black women come first."

In last night's episode of 'T.I. and Tiny: Family Hustle' the OMG Girlz shoot their first music video for their hit single "Gucci This". But the concerned father in T.I. objects to the girls' skimpy attire, excessive makeup and wedge heels. "When I was fifteen, girls who wore wedges had smeared lipstick," said T.I.

In this episode we finally get to see what's really behind the obvious tension between T.I. and Zonnique, Tameka's 15-year-old daughter by another man. It's apparent that "Nique Nique" isn't comfortable with T.I. trying to control her life, especially when she already has a father.

No one can deny that reality TV star Khloe Kardashian and NBA star Lamar Odom have a successful marriage. Unlike other people Kim Kardashian who fall in love on a whim, Khloe and Lamar got married for all the right reasons.

But even the most successful marriages hit a bump in the road. So how do they keep the fires burning? One good way is to try something new in the bedroom. Men are adventurous by Nature. They love to try new positions (and flavors) in bed.

In last night's season 2 premiere of 'Khloe & Lamar,' Khloe hooks up a sex swing over her bed, and then invites her husband to take a ride with her. Click the link below to see what happens!

Khloe & Lamar airs Sundays on E! at 10/9c

On last Thursday's episode of WE tv's 'Braxton Family Values', Mama Evelyn Braxton broke the news that her short term boyfriend, Doc, had proposed to her.

Evelyn first broke the news to her eldest daughter, Towanda Braxton -- the responsible one -- who grilled her mama about the proposal. "Well, what did you say?," asked Towanda.

"I said, uh, 'well, okay... it sounds good to me,'" Mama Evelyn replied.

"Mommy," said a skeptical Towanda, "Who says 'that sounds alright with me?' Who says that?"

"He got the point," said Evelyn. "He would take a 'yes' any kinda way he could!"

I like 'Love and Hip Hop' executive producer Mona Scott-Young. She's real enough to give viewers into the real, less glamorous side of reality shows. For instance, Chrissy Lampkin only agreed to appear on last night's episode if she wasn't interviewed by Scott.

In last night's episode, subtitled 'Reality Check', Scott took viewers behind the scenes of 'Love and Hip Hop', to show how the producers really influence the direction of reality shows.

Scott is part interviewer, part therapist. It was interesting to watch her use her calm shrewdness and experience to draw the emotions out of the insecure cast members.

For instance, we now know that fading rapper Jim Jones agreed to appear in the LHH pilot because Chrissy "took a liking to" all the attention she received from the show. It was hard to watch Jones squirm under the weight of his own humility as he admitted to suppressing his pride to allow his woman to shine on the show.

Now that's love.

Last night on 'Braxton Family Values,' the sisters meet with their therapist Dr. Sherry to discuss their emotional conflicts with each other. Toni Braxton irked her sister Traci's Soul by suggesting that Traci lose "20 to 30 lbs now. And stop thinking that her tummy sticking out like that is hot, 'cause it's not."

Toni added: "You're too cute of a girl not to care about... to let herself go like that." Toni also said Traci's tummy wasn't always like that "so that lets me think she's comfortable."

The nerve of Toni to decide when another woman is comfortable with her body when Toni is sooo uncomfortable in her own skin!

Toni was extremely insensitive to suggest that her sister Traci lose weight to fit Toni's jacked up standard of beauty. Toni, with 20 lbs of weave on her head and a face that is surgically altered beyond recognition, is not so perfect herself! Isn't it funny that people who think they are so perfect always see their flaws in others but not in themselves?

Clearly, Traci is happy and comfortable with her weight -- which upsets her sisters who hate the fact that Traci accepts her beauty. Traci probably has no problems keeping a man, unlike her thin sisters who think they're so perfect.

I realize that this is just a reality show, but Toni irked me with that comment. I'm shocked that Towanda (the more level headed sister) didn't speak up for Traci. And what kind of therapist is Dr. Sherry to day Toni was "just being honest"?

Dr. Sherry should have turned that mirror back toward Toni so she could see the hurt in herself. Because only hurt people hurt others.

Normally I wouldn't waste my time with this, but some of you ladies still don't understand that this fake beef between Evelyn Lozada and Jennifer Williams is manufactured to drive up ratings for the upcoming season of 'Basketball Wives.'

Even professional sports groupie Jill realizes something in the milk ain't clean:

Basketball Wives returns to VH1 on February 20th. I’m going to start with that because I really hope that’s what is behind the public back and forth between Evelyn Lozada and Jennifer Williams. The grown-up in me hopes that’s all this really is. Williams recently gave an interview where she explained what she feels Evelyn’s beef is with her. Jennifer claims Evelyn is jealous of her friendship with Nene Leakes of Real Housewives of Atlanta fame and that Evelyn is always in competition.

Apparently Halle Berry's nanny doesn't have good karma because a judge today tossed out her restraining order petition against Gabriel Aubry.

As you know, Alliance Kamdem, 29, took out a police report last week accusing Aubry, 35, of "ongoing" verbal and physical abuse towards her. Kamdem claims Aubry hurled racial epithets at her and shoved her into a door while she was holding Nahla last Wednesday.

In her petition, Kamdem cited another alleged incident in June in which she claims Gabriel violently pushed her out a door.

According to celebrity gossip website, TMZ.com, Kamdem "also said Gabriel didn't like her from the moment she began her duties as a nanny last June. She claims Gabriel said, "You are a spy," and "Nahla doesn't like you, she doesn't want you here."

She said that while she was performing her nanny duties on the set of Halle's movie in Spain, Aubry "would walk over and violently grab/take Nahla away from me."

But the judge wasn't convinced. He called Kamdem's accusations "insufficient and speculative" -- and he advised her to take the matter up in family court. The judge rejected her claims probably because what Kamdem was saying didn't make sense without Aubry's side of the story.

Kamdem has since quit her position as Halle's nanny.

Scroll down for updates...

Gabe Aubry has serious issues. This, according to Halle Berry, who is taking the Canadian underwear model back to court for losing his cool and assaulting her nanny.

Radaronline.com reports that Aubry hurled racial epithets and physically assaulted their daughter Nahla's nanny last week. It seems that Aubry kept Nahla home from school for 2 days because he claimed she the 3-year-old was sick. But Aubry neglected to tell Nahla's nanny, who went to the child's private school looking for her.

"The nanny went to pick Nahla up at school and she wasn't there, so she went to Gabriel's home," a source told RadarOnline.com. "Gabriel and the nanny got into an argument because no one alerted her that Nahla didn't go to school."

The source told RadarOnline.com Aubry allegedly called the nanny a racial slur, before things took a turn for the physical.

"She picked up Nahla to leave and Gabriel yelled at her and shoved her out the door so hard that she hit the wall -- while she had Nahla in her arms!" the source alleges, adding that the nanny claims the abuse is ongoing.

According to Radaronline.com, the nanny is so distraught that she has turned in her resignation. Good for Halle for standing up for her people!

According to TMZ, the police report has been filed. Click image to read the report.

V-103 morning show co-host Frank Ski threw a birthday bash for his wife, Tanya Rodriguez on Saturday at his popular Frank Ski Restaurant & Lounge in midtown Atlanta. Celebs such as Antonia Wright and the Braxton sisters (Braxton Family Values) stopped by to wish Tanya a happy 30th birthday.

We were surprised to see Trina Braxton accompanied by her husband, Gabe Solis (far right), after she caught him cheating online. Maybe Trina accepts the fact that most men are genetically pre-wired to cheat in order to further the human species (but that's for another blog post).

Frank Ski's Restaurant & Lounge is located at 2110 Peachtree Rd. in NW Atlanta. The restaurant offers Southern food and features outdoor patios and private dining as well as a bar and lounge area.

Loyal reader Lisa McGhee sent in this exclusive cover for Amber Rose's much-anticipated 1st single. Rose once made a living polishing stripper poles in Philadelphia until she lucked up with one of her customers -- Kanye West.

Kanye was badly in need of beard services, having battled pesky ghey rumors for most of his storied career. Kanye made Amber into a star of sorts, and she made him look virile and very straight.

Eventually, Kanye got tired of Amber using him and he kicked her to the curb. So the former bisexual stripper found another sucker in smoked out rapper Wiz Khalifa, and now she's using him to get famous.

Anyway, Amber's single "Fame" will be released exclusively on Perez Hilton's blog on Tuesday at 9am EST. But we don't read that blog. So we'll wait until Miss Jia posts the single on her blog to hear if it's any good.

I’m so excited to release my first song… It’s CRAZY! Working with Wiz is a dream come true; I am fortunate to have his support.

This is a very personal song to me that I wanted to record for my fans. I want people to see the world from my eyes, you know, from BEHIND MY SHADES! It’s my interpretation of what it means to be “FAMOUS,” which is not something superficial but instead being self-confident and happy with who you are.

You can feel famous everyday if you believe in yourself! Source

We have more information for you on the birth of Beyonce's first child from TMZ.com, and our Lenox Hill hospital source.

According to our source, Beyonce and her surrogate were admitted to the upper East side hospital on the same maternity floor. Other women in labor were also admitted to the floor despite rumors that Beyonce and Jay Z rented the entire floor for an absurd $1.3 million.

Our source said, "Lenox Hill does not turn away expectant mothers to cater to the needs of celebrities."

The NY Daily News confirmed that Beyonce was admitted to the hospital under the name Ingrid Jackson. But we're told the surrogate mother was also admitted to Lenox Hill under an assumed alias.

According to TMZ.com, hospital brass held a meeting leading up to the delivery to discuss a security plan for the birth. The meeting between execs and security was held Friday afternoon and strict security was in place almost immediately, preparing for the Saturday delivery.

Such an elaborate security plan was required to conceal the fact that Beyonce was not the one giving birth. Security cameras were taped over, or turned off -- which is a violation of hospital policies.

Our source said the baby girl was delivered via c-section while the mother was given an epidural to block the pain. The birth mother was allowed to briefly hold the baby and then the baby was handed off to Beyonce who waited in an adjoining room.

But Jones, who pretends to be a hard thug in the streets, shows his soft side when describing his and Chrissy's 7-year relationship. "That's like, uh, the princess kissing the frog. I got my own fairy tale going on," he says.

LeBron James celebrated his 27th birthday on New Year's Eve by proposing to his longtime girlfriend, Savannah Brinson, at the Shelborne Beach Resort in Miami Beach, Florida.

According to SPLASH News, this is the cake that was made for NBA player Lebron James' 27th birthday. The call was made 2 days before the party. The instructions: make a birthday cake that is fit for a King. The baker, Alethea Hickman, (pictured above with her royal creation) was promised publicity for her bakery Hickman's Passion for Pastry. The Shelborne would receive the $3,000 cake as a freebie in exchange.

But Hickman was surprised to see a different cake in photos tweeted worldwide on Twitter.com on Jan. 1. After getting in touch with James' people, Hickman was told her work wasn't fit for the king: "It just wasn't what was expected. When LeBron's people saw it, they just didn't want to use it and decided to bring their own cake."

The cake is ugly, but at least she got the free publicity.

On Monday night, VH1 aired the much-anticipated "fight" between newcomer Erica Mena and Juelz Santana's bustdown, Kimbella Vanderhee. As with Kimbella, Erica was introduced to the cast by Jim Jones' manager, Yandy Smith, aka Don King. It is no coincidence that both women immediately began snatching wigs within 5 minutes of meeting each other.

By now we are all familiar with how these "reality" shows work. Each show has totally scripted "fight" scenes that usually commences when one cast member tosses water on the other one.

But according to Erica, her fight scene may not have been totally scripted. In fact, Erica claims that she was caught completely by surprise, and she thinks she was set up by VH1.

The editor-in-chief of Jackie magazine, which referred to troubled singer Rihanna as a "Niggabitch", has stepped down.

Eva Hoeke cited the relentless attacks from Rihanna's Stans on social media as the reason for her departure. She explained that she used the term "Niggabitch" to describe the ultra slutty personal style that was influenced by Rihanna herself. Hoeke points out that the term was imported from America where we in the black community routinely use "nigga" and "bitch" as terms of endearment.

But since when does a journalist (or blogger) let Stans influence what they write? The article obviously was not a personal attack on Rihanna. Oh, I forgot, Freedom of Speech is only upheld as a constitutional right here in America.

If Rihanna wants respect maybe she should start by respecting herself?

Eva writes:

Because of the enormous pressure from social media, I can promise improvement in terms of language used in future issues of Jackie.

Previously, I offered rectification. As I now come to the conclusion that rectification is not the right solution, I am departing.

"The term 'nigga bitch" has come over from America and we have only this to describe this particular style of clothes that we can try to interpret.

"After eight years, with my heart and soul, I have worked for Jackie. I realize that these errors - although no malicious intent - is a reason to leave."

Last night's episode of RHOA was uneventful and rather boring. Sheree Whitfield and her "attorney" Phaedra Parks agree to part ways as client/attorney to preserve their faux on-camera relationship. The surprising part was when Phaedra reached into her desk and handed Sheree back her $5000 retainer fee. Now you know that whole scene had to be fake. As badly as Phaedra wanted that check, why didn't she deposit it? And why would she return a retainer fee after doing the work? No one really believes Phaedra was Sheree's attorney in the bogus case against her ex-husband, Bob Whitfield.

On the 'Watch What Happens Live' show afterwards, Sheree premiered her single, which is supposedly a NeNe Leakes diss record. I didn't even listen to it.

This is also the episode where RHOA viewers got the chance to hear newcomer Marlo Hampton speak for the first time. Let's just say it sounds like she's had one too many male hormones shots. We still don't know if Marlo is a permanent cast member or not. Supposedly, she only appears in 3 episodes, and last night was her 3rd appearance.

Last week, Justin Bieber made headlines everywhere for donating $100,000 to a high-poverty school in Las Vegas. But the real story is not Justin's benevolence (although it's noteworthy), the real story is the woman behind the school -- and how that check might not have found it's way into the school's coffers were it not for her.

In a segment of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, scheduled to air on Jan. 4, 2012, Bieber is shown handing a $100,000 check to Whitney Elementary School Principal Sherrie Gahn. In addition to donating the money, Bieber also performed for the kids and handed out Christmas presents.

Reporter Valerie Strauss of the Washington Post notes that 85% of the students attending Whitney Elementary live at or below the poverty level. "Many live in houses without heat, electricity and running water," she writes. But the students' standardized test scores have gone up significantly since Sherrie Gahn has been the principal there.

She arrived at Whitney about eight years ago and promised Whitney parents that she would help them with their bills — and even help pay college tuition for any students who went — if they would work with her to raise children “of character.”

Here’s what she told Ellen DeGeneres that she told parents: “I’ll pay your electrical bill, your utilities, I’ll give you food or clothes, whatever you need, as long as you give me your child and then help raise that child as a person of character.”

This morning I received an urgent call from former Xscape singer Tameka "Tiny" Harris' mom, Dianne Pope, asking me to inform my readers that Tiny's father, Charles Pope, is alive and well. Tiny's fans were introduced to Mr. and Mrs. Pope on Tiny's reality show, Tiny & Toya on BET in 2009.

It seems that some idiot created a fake Facebook page imitating Tiny and claiming her father was deceased. "Tiny wants people to know that her daddy is fine," said Mrs. Pope. "That's not her Facebook page at all.

As you know, Mr. Pope (pictured at right with Tiny's daughter, Zonnique) was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. T.I. and Tiny founded the For The Love of Our Fathers Foundation, which raises money for Alzheimer's research.

Mrs. Pope says her husband's condition has improved and he's getting stronger. "He's more alert. We're getting him up now doing exercises," she said.

Mrs. Pope theorized that Tiny's fans may have confused Tiny's father with a member of his legendary R&B group The Tams, who was murdered by his roommate. Tiny's father founded The Tams, and Tiny has performed with the group.

According to Channel 2 Action News, longtime Tams band director Versi Sain, 59, was found shot to death in his Clayton County home earlier this month. Police arrested his roommate, Sam Morgan, and charged him with murder. He is being held in the Clayton County jail. The two men were childhood friends who grew up together in Muskegon, Michigan. Sources say the motive may have been money.

The Tams, now headed by Tiny's brother Red, are known for their 60s hits "Be Young, Be Foolish, Be Happy," and "Hey Girl Don't Bother Me."

Socialite Kim Kardashian was spotted boarding a private jet with her family bound for Las Vegas, where she attended the grand opening of her Kardashian Khaos boutique at the Mirage Resort Hotel and Casino yesterday. Talk show maven Barbara Walters was a guest on Late Night With Dave Letterman on Tuesday. Letterman grilled Walters about including the Kardashians on her 'Most Fascinating List', even offering to remove them from the list himself.

Walters saw the opportunity to brand the most hated reality TV family as liars:

"They were the first ones we interviewed and we did them in September," Walters explained. "We said, anything going to happen? 'No no no, you can do it now because nothing's going to happen.' Then Kim gets married. Then Kourtney gets pregnant. Then Khloe's moving to Dallas. You cannot trust the Kardashians."

As the Huffington Post explained; Khloe Kardashian can't be blamed for moving to Dallas with her husband, Lamar Odom, who was traded to the Mavericks by the LA Lakers on Saturday.

Bravo's popular 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' reality series usually airs on Sundays, but Bravo aired a special court episode last night titled "Law By Sheree".

In this episode, Sheree's former ATM machine (former pro baller Bob Whitfield) has run out of funds (Whitfield claims he only brings in $3,000 a month). So Whitfield takes Sheree to court for modification of his child support payments, meaning he wants to modify the child support amount that he has reportedly aready paid.

The Atlanta law community is buzzing about the business practices of local "celebrity attorney" Phaedra Parks. From accepting drug money in parking lots with no receipts, to sending her assistants to chase down Sheree for her $5,000 retainer fee rather than have her transfer the funds into the law firm's business account like everyone else does.

It all seems dubious and rather bizarre. But I guess it makes for better "reality" TV. It's probably no surprise that Phaedra failed the Georgia bar exam the first time she took it in 1998 -- the year she graduated from the University of GA law school. She sat for the bar exam a year later in 1999, and this time she passed. But she's in good company; the late John F. Kennedy failed the New York bar exam twice before finally passing on the 3rd try.

Apparently Queen Latifah's ex-girlfriend reads the blog regularly. On Monday, personal trainer Jeanette Jenkins took to her Twitter page to subliminally tweet her ex after she saw the above photo of the Kang lunching with an athletic beauty. Jenkins wasted no time tweeting "What goes around comes around." She followed that tweet up with "What is done in the dark will always come to the light." But why is she mad though? Rumor has it that Jeanette is getting in full body workouts with her client and friend, Kelly Rowland. The ladies recently released a Sexy Abs workout DVD together. The DVD is reportedly flying off the shelves. Not bad for a scorned woman on the rebound.
