Alicia Keys’ Background Singer Goes Solo On ‘The Voice’

Sunday night’s season 2 premiere of NBC’s music reality show ‘The Voice‘ shattered TV ratings records. The singing competition earned the highest non-sports related network TV ratings in 6 years. All similarities to other music competition shows ends after the opening credits roll.

Instead of a panel of judges, ‘The Voice‘ features four celebrity “coaches” who choose teams of artists to mentor. This season’s coaches are Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, and country music star Blake Shelton.

Season 2′s contestants included Alicia Keys‘ background singer, Jermaine Paul, who decided to go solo after backing up Keys for years. Keys sent a congratulatory recorded message that was played on ‘The Voice‘. Green and Shelton were impressed by his vocals, but Paul chose Shelton as his mentor.

Beyonce Reveals Her New Boob Job at Jay Z’s Concert

Now we know why Beyonce was in the hospital for so long in January after her surrogate allegedly gave birth to her baby, Blue Ivy. Last night, Beyonce stepped out in public for the first time to attend her husband Jay Z’s concert at Carnegie Hall. It was her first public appearance since the baby’s birth. No one outside of the Metropolitan New York area even knew Jay Z had a concert last night. Which is a strong indication of the media’s decreasing interest in him.

It is obvious from these pics that Beyonce had recent breast enhancement surgery. Beyonce wore a red dress with a plunging neckline so the paparazzi could get good shots of her padding, in a desperate attempt to fool the public into believing she’s breast feeding. How pitiful is Beyonce? Well, you won’t have time to come up with an answer because the attention whore will be in our faces every day for the next few months — until the paparazzi grows tired of seeing her.

Rihanna Stumbling Drunk Again

Troubled singer Rihanna was spotted stumbling out of the Manor nightclub in West Hollywood last night. The Manor was the same nightclub where her ex-boyfriend was partying with friends after watching the Super Bowl. Once again Rihanna was ignored by Brown and his entourage. RiRi wore a black, leather Chanel cap, a sheer, black bodysuit and blue jeans.

The 23-year-old Bajan beauty drowned her sorrows with bottle after bottle of expensive bubbly, according to witnesses. Rihanna leaned hard on her fiercely protective assistant, Melisssa, as they exited the nightclub. Security had to practically drag the drunken singer through hordes of paparazzi to her car.

Do better, Rihanna!

PICS: Whitney Houston and Ray J Still Kicking It

Brandy’s brother, Ray J and his longtime friend, the legendary Whitney Houston, were seen together shopping at Sunset Plaza after having dinner together. Whitney chatted with the paps about possibly joining ‘The X-Factor’ cast and she said she liked the idea. Whitney and Ray J strolled to his Rolls Royce as the paparazzi flashed away. Ray J demonstrated his love for Whitney by making sure she was buckled up securely in the car. And she returned the gesture as Ray J headed around the car by unlocking the driver’s side door for him to enter.

This is how you express your love for your partner, kids. LOVE = RESPECT. If your man doesn’t hold the door open for you, especially if you cook his meals and wash his dirty drawls, you should launch him. You deserve better than that.

Some of you are probably scratching your heads wondering what’s going on. Well, it’s simple: sex gets better as we females get older. Men peak sexually in their teens and early twenties, while women peak sexually in our 40s. There was a time, millions of years ago, when the life expectancy for men was much shorter than for females (which is why Nature fixed our sexual peaks that way).

By the time some men reach their mid thirties, they undergo a form of menopause and their testosterone levels (and sex drive) begin to decline. This explains today’s proliferation of Cougars in the female population who seek out younger men (in their twenties) to satisfy their intense sexual cravings. As a result, Viagra is the #1 prescription medication among the aging male population (rapper Jay Z allegedly has his pharmacist on speed dial).

Celebrity Seed: La La and Carmelo Anthony

It should have been a relaxing day on the Beach in Miami for media personality La La Anthony and her son Kiyan. But instead Kiyan had to contend with the disruption of reality TV cameras as he played in the sand and surf.

LaLa was shooting scenes for her VH1 reality show, La La’s Full Court Life on the beach today. Although he receives a paycheck for being his mommy’s prop, Kiyan doesn’t have a say in the decision to be in the show — but his father does. Carmelo Anthony doesn’t want anything to do with the show, and friends say he allows La La to exploit Kiyan on the show “to keep the peace at home.”
