In Case You Missed It: Braxton Family Values, Episode 9

In last night’s episode of ‘Braxton Family Values‘, Trina Braxton admitted giving oral sex to one of her male band members. But in a recent video interview with blogger Karen Civil, which we posted yesterday, Trina revealed that she and her cheating husband, Gabe Solis, (pictured above on their wedding day) have been “legally separated” for a year.
So does that mean all of their scenes are scripted?
By the way, best wishes and a speedy recovery to R&B icon Toni Braxton who was recently hospitalized with a Lupus flare up.

Is Nia Long’s baby Caucasian?
I get the craziest emails from my devoted readers, but none stranger than the one I received today. It was sent in by a loyal reader who claimed to be a “close family relation” to actress Nia Long.
She asked that I not post the email or mention specific details contained within the email. But she wanted Sandrarose.com readers to know that the race of Nia Long’s baby is Caucasian — not black or mixed.
She wrote that the baby was the result of an in vitro fertilisation. An IVF procedure involves the egg cells being fertilised by the sperm outside of the body and then implanted in the uterus.
The email writer goes on to say that neither Nia nor her boyfriend, former NBA player Ime Udoka, are the biological parents of the 2-month-old child.
But why would Nia go to such lengths to have a white baby? My loyal reader said Nia visited a fertility clinic to undergo the in vitro fertilization because there is a waiting list for white babies through U.S. adoption agencies.
Will this be a new fad among urban celebs since white celebrities have been adopting black babies as accessories for years?
Take a look at the pics and you decide. Is the baby white or black?
Trina & Tamar Braxton Discuss Infidelity, Gossip and Negativity

‘Braxton Family Values‘ stars Trina and Tamar Braxton sat down with celebrity blogger Karen Civil to discuss infidelity, gossip blogs and negativity vs the positive.
Trina opened about her husband Gabe Solis’ online voyeurism, and she revealed that they have been legally separated for a year because of it.
“We didn’t put this out there for the show,” said Trina, “but Gabe and I are legally separated. So Gabe has the right to do whatever he chooses and with whom…”
The pain and the hurt are palpable in Trina’s voice as she makes conflicting statements about her “relationship” with Gabe.
“We are talking and we are praying about different things… we don’t know where we are… where we’re going to be. Nobody’s relationship is perfect, and ours definitely not!,” says Trina.
The shade being thrown by Tamar as Trina talks about Gabe indicates that she doesn’t believe her sister’s words either.
We won’t comment on what Trina and Tamar had to say about gossip blogs and negative comments because we know that they are new to the blogs and they need time to process the fact that negativity and criticism comes with the territory when you seek fame.
Tamar Braxton: ‘I’m Not a Gold Digger’
‘Braxton Family Values‘ star Tamar Braxton and her husband Vince Herbert are featured on the cover of this week’s JET magazine.
Tamar, having been bitten by the fame bug, is doing a full court press in the studio recording tracks for her upcoming album. She said the studio brings out the hidden ‘Sasha Fierce’ in her — referring to the alter ego of pseudo-singer Beyonce.
“I have to do this,” she said. “I wake up in the morning and want to go to the studio, because if I don’t go, ‘her’ is going to be upset.” When asked about her musical style, Tamar replied “I don’t want to put it in a category because when you do that you limit yourself. It’s just going to be hot music. Great songs that appeal to everybody.”
The 34-year-old former backup singer for sibling Toni Braxton, clearly believes reality show fame will translate into album sales. Maybe she should consult with RHOA star Kandi Burruss?
Tamar’s husband Vince, who is recovering from a near-fatal blood clot in his lungs, responded to criticism that his wife is using him for his money and his connections (Vince once managed Lady Gaga and other stars).
“I love my wife. This girl is so far from being a gold digger. I wouldn’t be with someone like that for nine years,” he said.
Tamar chimes in: “When I met Vince I had my own house. I had my own car. I was independent.”
Vince said the secret to his happy marriage is to be friends first: “Tamar is the greatest,” said Vince. “Like, we’d just drive to Disneyland, then go to the movies and fall asleep. Because we are friends and you can’t stress that enough in a relationship. We have our arguments and disagreements, but that’s life.”

Confirmed: Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez Engaged

Actors Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are engaged — to each other, US Weekly magazine confirms. Rumors swirled at the start of the New Year that Halle was engaged when the 48-year-old twice-divorced mother of one was spotted with a sizable rock on her left hand.
That same day, Halle turned the ring around and made a noticeable effort to hide her left hand from the paparazzi. But why all the secrecy? Shouldn’t an engagement be one of the happiest times of a woman’s life — even if it’s her third time?
According to US Weekly, Martinez, 46, proposed to Halle over the holidays, with an emerald-and-diamond ring from Gurhan. She met the French actor while working on the film Dark Tide in 2010.
Halle has a daughter, Nahla, 3, with Canadian underwear model Gabe Aubry, 36. Olivier has no children. Halle was previously married to R&B singer Eric Benet (2001), and former Atlanta Braves baseball star David Justice (1993). Each marriage lasted for 4 turbulent years.
Following her divorce from Benet, Halle swore she would NEVER marry again.
We wish we could say that we’re happy for Halle, but judging from her past history with men (mostly celebrities), we already know how this marriage will turn out.
It seems that Halle is one of those insecure women who only wants a wedding, not a marriage.
Beyonce, Jay Z and Blue Ivy leave the hospital under uber-tight security

Apparently Beyonce and Jay Z think they’re the Obamas? The couple left Lenox Hill hospital early Tuesday with newborn baby Blue Ivy in tow. The NY Daily News says witnesses described a scene similar to the rolling roadblocks that the local police and Secret Service employ whenever President Obama is in town:
A procession of vehicles with blacked-out windows made a speedy exit from the upper East Side hospital’s side gate in the wee hours of Tuesday, witnesses said.
Two black SUVs motored quickly out of the facility’s E. 76th St. loading dock at 1:30 a.m.
Moments later, a van parked on a nearby corner reversed into the same loading dock, and the large roll-down gate closed.
The gate reopened a few minutes later and the van drove out, turned the wrong way on the one-way 76th St., and then headed north on Park Ave.
One of the two SUVs blocked traffic on Park Ave. so the van would not be impeded.
The second SUV pulled in behind the van, apparently to prevent anyone from following the music icons and their newborn daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.
It was “very precise, very military-like,” one witness said.
“Immediately, security personnel began leaving the hospital.” Source
In Case You Missed It: T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle, Ep 6

In last night’s episode of VH1′s popular reality series T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle, T.I.’s 10-year-old daughter Deyjah informs him that she’s seeing a boy. This does not sit well with T.I., who is not too pleased to find out that his 10-year-old daughter is running behind a boy while her grades takes a hit.

So off he goes to have a sit down with Deyjah’s mother, a local rapper who calls herself Ms. Niko. You can kinda see why T.I. and Ms. Niko didn’t make it as a couple: she has a house full of kids but she wants to be a rapper?
