The 6,861-sq. ft., 7-bedroom, 7-bathroom house boasts a giant media room, and a huge built-in fish tank. It also has a swimming pool, a gym and a basketball court. The home’s attached 3-car garage and private underground parking accommodates 15+ cars.
Remember when “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss purchased a dilapidated mansion at a bargain basement price last year? Well, the extensive renovations have been completed and Kandi invited AJC photographer Phil Skinner to photograph the stunning results.
Kandi purchased the nearly 8,000 sq ft estate in southwest Atlanta at a steal! The home boasts an indoor pool, a guest house and 6-car garage in an affluent gated community. I’m told Kandi splashed out over $300,000 for renovations. Kandi filled her home with ornate objets d’art, paintings and gilded chandeliers that perfectly reflects her eclectic style.

Former kiddie rapper Chris Kelly was 18 when he purchased his first home for $307,500 at the peak of his fame as one half of the multiplatinum rap group Kris Kross. The home has depreciated in value $100K since then.
Kelly was found unresponsive in that home by his mother, Donna Kelly Pratt, who frantically dialed 911 after Kelly complained of feeling nauseated and passed out.
Kelly, 34, was pronounced dead around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Atlanta Medical Center’s south campus.
His mother later told police that her son ingested a combination of cocaine and heroine, known as a “speedball.” Pratt said Kelly had a history of drug abuse.

The 2-story home is just a stone’s throw from the Greenbrier mall where Kelly and his best friend, Chris Kelly, both 12, were discovered rapping by an up-and-coming music producer.
Supposedly, socialite Kim Kardashian and rapper Kanye West have purchased a 10,000-square-foot, $11 million mansion in a gated community in Bel Air, CA., where they plan to raise their
test tube baby. I’ll believe it when I see pictures of Kanye walking down the driveway wearing boxers and a robe to pick up the morning paper or to check the mailbox.
