Amber and Wiz Engaged; is it Love or Dopamine?
After months of rumors that rapper Wiz Khalifa, 24, and media personality Amber Rose, 28, were engaged, Wiz finally popped the question — and fittingly, he made the announcement on his Twitter page. All together now: Awww. Wiz Khalifa proposed to girlfriend Amber Rose mere hours ago, and according to @RealWizKhalifa’s Twitter, she said yes! While we don’t know many details of the proposal just yet, Wiz posted an Instagram pic of the engagement ring, and to put it lightly, we are BLOWN AWAY. First off, good job Wiz! This rock is basically as classy as it gets. Amber is sporting a 4-prong oval diamond sparkler on her light-pink stiletto-tipped fingers with a rose gold band. (Oh, HA, we get it. Rose gold for Amber Rose. Nice touch, Wiz.) We think this is the perfect ring for Amber’s all-out glam style—even when she dresses down she’s got the best beauty game to boot. Now it’s only a matter of time before the wedding deets start slipping out. We can’t wait to see what she wears on her wedding day!
Twitter FAIL: Tyga goes awf
Rapper Tyga’s name is synonymous with gay. Whenever someone mentions “gay rapper,” Tyga’s name often jumps to the forefront of the discussion.
If you recall, Tyga was the rapper sitting with Chris Brown in the Bentley outside a Miami nightclub, when the singer snatched a fan’s cell phone for captured incriminating evidence of the two men.
So it seems odd that Tyga would hurl anti-gay slurs on his Twitter page after another gossip blog outed him… again. Expect to see a statement soon from angry gay groups demanding an apology or retraction from Mr. Tyga.
Struggling Rapper Jim Jones Arrested AGAIN
Celebrity gossip site TMZ.com reports that rapper Jim Jones has been arrested for the 2nd time in 3 days.
According to TMZ, Jones was pulled over by police earlier today in New York City — and subsequently arrested for driving on a suspended license.
TMZ says he was booked and released.
This latest arrest comes 3 days after Jones was cuffed for resisting arrest following a brawl in a Connecticut casino. At first it was reported (on Twitter.com) that Jones was fighting with his long-time girlfriend, Chrissy, who starred alongside him on VH1′s reality series ‘Love & Hip Hop’.
But according to TMZ, the slugfest involved a random man who reportedly walked up to Jones and began talking smack to him at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods on Friday. Then the man started throwing punches at Jones, who fought back. Several of Jones’ boys jumped into the fray. It took five officers to mace and subdue Jones, who was later released on $40,000 bail.
Jones was charged with assault on a police officer and breach of peace in the Connecticut incident.
Chris Brown’s victim: “He snatched my phone!”
Chris Brown’s robbery victim has been revealed– on video. The victim, Christal Spann, who clearly does not fit the “type” that Brown prefers — was caught on video reporting Brown’s alleged crime to Miami Beach cops. The video, first posted by TMZ.com, shows Spann surrounded by her friends — all dark skinned sisters. Spann is in obvious distress as she exclaims several times, “I just want my phone back.”
Spann told police that she and her friends followed Brown and rapper Tyga as they left the Cameo nightclub on South Beach early Sunday morning.
When Brown and Tyga climbed into Brown’s leased black Bentley, Spann approached the vehicle and snapped a picture. An enraged Brown rolled down the window and snatched Spann’s cell phone out of her hand.
Spann said Brown told her “Bitch, you not gonna put this up on no website,” before speeding off with the $500 iPhone.
According to TMZ, the Miami Beach P.D. and the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office are aware of the existence of the video. The video will be used in their investigation, and it will be determined if Brown will be charged with a crime.
If Brown is charged with a crime, he will violate his California probation for assaulting singer Rihanna in 2009. Brown may be forced to serve out the remainder of his 5-year sentence in prison.
Not only does Brown hate women, but he harbors a particular hatred for women with dark skin.
BREAKING: Miami DA Considers Arrest Warrant for Chris Brown
According to TMZ.com, a woman’s story about troubled singer Chris Brown snatching her cell phone was credible enough for the DA to consider taking out a warrant for his arrest.
According to TMZ, Christal Spann, 24, filed a police report Sunday for “robbery by snatching.” She claimed she followed Chris and rapper Tyga as they were leaving Cameo nightclub in Miami early Sunday morning. She said she got close enough to snap a picture of Chris and Tyga as they sat in his Bentley.
That’s when, according to the police report, Chris flipped out, rolled down his car window and grabbed her cell phone, saying, “Bitch, you’re not gonna put that on the Internet.”
According to the police report, Chris then rolled up his window and sped off, taking the $500 iPhone with him.
There is no indication in the police report what Chris Brown and Tyga were doing in the picture, and why it was so important for Chris to jeopardize his probation status to prevent Crystal from uploading the photo to the Internet.
The most important thing is: if Brown is arrested, he will violate his probation in California for the Rihanna assault case — and he will be thrown in jail to serve out his sentence!
