I know this is important to somebody or Toya wouldn’t have posted it: Danity Kane is now a trio, but I can’t remember who got cut. Not that it matters.
The mundane will get a little lift when Cassie joins the group as their new front woman to replace whoever it was that left.
That will be good for another round of exciting blog posts before this made-for-TV group slides back into obscurity.

R&B singer Sammie accepted rapper Soulja Boy’s $50,000 Madden ’09 challenge. The two met up in an Atlanta recording studio yesterday to lay down tracks for Sammie’s upcoming album.

Sammie, who’s flush with cash from royalties and shows, said it’s nothing for him to put up 50 stacks to prove who’s King of the South in Madden ’09.
According to Sammie, Bow Wow still hasn’t ante’d up the $100,000 he lost to rapper The Game in a recent Madden ’09 challenge.
In the video, Sammie says if he wins Soulja Boy’s $50,000, he’s taking the whole Empire Entertainment crew to Neiman Marcus at Lenox Square Mall.
So I talked to his management to see if that was true and they told me the money will go to Sammie’s Kids, a non-profit foundation set up by Sammie and Empire Ent. to pay inner city school kids for bringing home good grades.
May the better man win!

Sammie performed live at a show in Florida over the weekend. My, how he has grown!
About two weeks ago, I spotted Sammie at a Porsche dealership. I’m like, ‘is that Sammie?’ I’m sorry I didn’t have my camera with me. We talked a bit and it seemed he couldn’t decide between buying a Porsche Cayman S (celebs car of choice at the moment) and a Bentley. I talked him out of buying a Bentley in today’s yo yo economy.
He thanked me and roared off in the Porsche with a salesman riding shotgun. Don’t get it twisted, regardless of who you are, dealers don’t allow you to solo test drive any luxury vehicle over $60K.
So if you see Sammie driving a red Porsche Cayman S solo, you know he bought it!

Celebrity Cars Edition: Kim Kardashian
So Kim Kardashian really is hood — that’s not just an act. Only a true hood rat would intentionally decrease the value of an expensive luxury vehicle like a Bentley by putting a kit around it and fitting it with aftermarket rims and tires. The average price of a Bentley is around $200,000. Kim’s Bentley is probably worth half that now.
Kim and Reggie deserve each other. She’s a hood rat with no common sense and he’s one barbell short of a complete set.
Kim Kardashian had a little run-in with a motorcycle back in March that put her brand new Bentley into the body shop for some serious repair. Well like we predicted, Platinum Motorsport hooked it up and the style is fresher than her White and Pink Range Rover that they also hooked up! (Source)

Mariah’s man slut Nick Cannon went for a test drive in a new fire engine red Ferrari yesterday. The paps snapped away as Nick pulled up to a bank’s drive thru window. The blogs swear this Ferrari is his, but we know better. It belongs to the dealership. That’s why Mr. Man is along for the ride in the passenger seat to make sure Nick doesn’t get carried away and lose himself with their expensive toy.

LL Cool J spent the day yesterday reading to pre-K kids at a school in New York City’s east Village in an effort to promote literacy in America. The famed rapper broke his tough-guy image as he read to the kids from the book, “Corduroy” by Don Freeman. Awww, that’s so sweet.
