In a move that is completely legal, superstar Mary J. Blige filed a lawsuit in a Manhattan courtroom against street vendors who plan to sell bootlegged t-shirts and other tour memorabilia outside her concert tomorrow.
She can do that because of a law allowing people to sue “Jane Does” and “John Does” who will be […]

WBLS staffer alleges Kevin sexually harassed her and beat Wendy Williams on the job!

Tuesday, March 25th, 2008

On February 11, I received an email from an aide to WBLS shock jock Wendy Williams who wanted me to give her a quick call. I assumed, since she worked for Wendy, she wanted the rest of the audio of the Keyshia Cole call that I posted on my site that day.
Instead, she wanted […]

Kwasi Asare, the long-suffering New Media Marketing Manager for Bad Boy Entertainment, sent out an official response to the LA Times article from his boss Sean Combs.

Polow Da Don Wuz Robbed

Tuesday, March 11th, 2008

Atlanta producer Polow Da Don was the victim of an attempted robbery last night. I wasn’t going to post this story because he wasn’t hurt and it was an attempted robbery. I love Polow, but I’m not going to post a story every time a rapper gets robbed of his fake jewelry…
Then I […]

Marion Jones On Oprah: ‘People Might Not Forgive Me, But God Forgives’

Wednesday, January 16th, 2008

EDIT:
If you missed it, Oprah briefly interviewed convicted felon Marion Jones on her show today. Apparently, Jones is already in federal custody and was not able to fly to Chicago to appear in person on the show.
As predicted, Oprah went a little easy on Marion (probably due to time constraints). She asked Jones only […]

Video: Raz B recants his lies

Thursday, December 27th, 2007

Raz B finally recanted his vicious allegations against his former manager Chris Stokes. No doubt he feared being sued for libel, slander and ruining a man’s reputation. I’m sure the producers of their reality show didn’t want to be sued either.
Let this be a lesson to you all that you can’t believe everything you hear. […]

UPDATE:
I just heard from an inside source that Yung Joc is on his way to Cleveland. Apparently there was a mix up by Joc’s attorney who advised his client that he did not have to make a personal appearance before the judge this morning.
The attorney, who is based in Cleveland, apparently believed he could make […]

The same can also be said for the Clifford “T.I.” Harris household. T.I. released […]

Wednesday, December 19th, 2007

This is not a rumor: Apparently, some of Grand Hustle’s artists are very confident in the government’s case against their boss Clifford “T.I.” Harris. At least one GH artist has expressed interest in moving to a different label.
The word is the artists feel that T.I. will do at least 2-5 years in the federal pen […]

Professional athlete task force?

Tuesday, December 11th, 2007

FROM THIS:

TO THIS:

We know about the Hip Hop police, but is there a special task force targeting professional athletes as well? By professional athletes, you know I mean the brothers. If there’s one thing professional athletes and rappers learned in 2007, it is that they are under the microscope and their actions are being monitored […]
