Hunky singer/actor Tyrese Gibson took his daughter, Shayla Iylana Gibson, out & about over the weekend. It looks like he might have had a slight run-in with the paparazzi. Too bad his daughter had to witness him losing his cool.
On-again-off-again celebrity couple Ashanti and Nelly attended Nelly's 5th Annual Black And White Christmas Ball at Chase Park Plaza in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri yesterday. Performers included Ashanti and Darryl "DMC" McDaniels of Run DMC.
Last week Rap-Up TV caught up with the rapper and asked him why he’s waiting so long to marry Ashanti. “I think you really have to be friends first. It’s not about how long it takes,” he explained. “I’m not a person that wants to get married more than once. If I’ma do it, I’ma do it. You’re dying if you leave me.”

Actress Vivica Fox was a guest on the Wendy Williams Show yesterday. She was there to promote her new lacefront line and to discuss her 'Cheaper to Keep Her' tour with Brian McKnight in New York City.
The paps showed Viv's man, Slimm, no respect by cutting him out of all her pics. They didn't have to do him like that. Slimm is a well-known club promoter here in Atlanta. Photos by: Roger Wong/INFphoto.com
According to TMZ.com, pharmaceutical mogul Steve Rahr donated up to $700,000 today to buy back the lives of Alicia Keys, Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga, Usher and other narcissistic celebrities on social networking websites.
Celebs such as Ryan Seacrest, Khloe K. and La La Vazquez participated in the 'Dead Celebrities' campaign by taking ghoulish portraits lying in open caskets.
The stars logged offline on Tuesday, Nov. 30, and vowed not to sign back on until $1 million had been raised for the 'Keep A Child Alive' cause. Keys and the other stars hoped that their fans deemed them worthy enough to cough up the cash within 24 hours.
Singer Alicia Keys attended a screening of "Biutiful" hosted by the Cinema Society with Miuccia Prada, Sandra Brant & Ingrid Sischy at the Lighthouse Theater in New York City last night.
Keys was widely criticized by her followers on Twitter.com yesterday after she broke her own vow not to tweet until she had raised $1 million for AIDS research.
Other celebs such as Kim and Khloe Kardashian also broke their vows to stay off Twitter yesterday. Keys tweeted a number that her followers could text to "buy" her life back. But apparently, few of her followers cared if she came back to life or not. Keys deleted her tweets once her followers protested.
The poorly received 'Dead Celebrities' campaign, featuring stars such as Usher, Serena Williams and Ryan Seacrest lying in open caskets, has raised less than $100,000 so far.

Did the volunteers come straight from the club to help out?
Earlier today, Debra Antney and Mizay Entertainment with DTLR and Hot 107.9 held their annual Turkey Giveaway Dinner Event in Forest Park, GA. Here's a few photos, and there's more on my site.
Burlesque dancer and studio singer Beyonce Knowles hosted the launch event for the Lorraine Schwartz "2BHAPPY" Jewelry Collection, held at the LAVO Night Club in NYC last night. After a night of partying, Beyonce's curly hair went limp. Noticeably missing from the party was Beyonce's husband, rapper Shawn Carter, who rarely supports his wife unless he's sharing the spotlight too.

Socialite Paris Hilton caused quite a ruckus when she bent over to pick up her bunny rabbit while shopping at Madison store in Beverly Hills, CA yesterday. That's when the paparazzi realized that Paris was wearing nothing under her sheer stockings.

According to celebrity blogger Tami of Talkingwithtami.com, singer/songwriter Ne-Yo and his fiancée bestie, Monyetta Shaw, delivered a baby girl on Friday (Nov. 12). Congrats to them!
According to People.com, the baby's name is Madelyn Grace Smith, and she already has a nickname: it's "Maddie" for short.
Monyetta's baby shower was scheduled for today -- and I was told that she did not attend.
From what I understand (from People.com), Maddie is 2 months premature, which means she can't breathe on her own and requires a ventilator to assist her breathing. She will remain in neonatal intensive care at least until she is able to breathe on her own -- and that's if she has no other medical complications.
That is sad news for Ne-Yo and his bestie, Monyetta. Rumor has it that Ne-Yo and Monyetta have an agreement. Sort of like a surrogate mom.
Anyway, Monyetta used the loot to open a high end clothing boutique in Buckhead. I don't care what anyone says about Monyetta: she's a smart cookie for thinking long term and investing that money in a business.
Maddie's birth - which wasn't expected for another 2 months -- occurred while Ne-Yo was hosting an exclusive private shopping event at David Yurman's jewelry boutique inside the upscale Lenox Square Mall in Atlanta on Friday.
According to Tami:
Ne-Yo welcomed everyone but stated that he couldn’t stay long because his fiancée was in labor. Later I found out he had a baby girl, congrats to Neyo and Monyetta! The event was a success and for a good cause!
