In Case You Missed It: Love & Hip Hop, Ep 4

If you didn’t get a chance to watch VH1′s ‘Love & Hip Hop‘ last night — you didn’t miss much. Kimbella’s hair piece caught on fire as she sat and watched male and female strippers in action. And we’re supposed to believe that her hair went up in flames but she didn’t feel any heat or smell anything? We timed it, and it turns out that Michael Jackson’s hair was in flames for less time than Kimbella’s. Yet MJ was hospitalized and the fire scarred him for life.

Hoopz Gives Shaq a Ride on Jimmy Kimmell Live

They say there is someone for everyone in this world, and it seems that former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal has found his perfect match in former reality TV personality, Nicole “Hoopz” Alexander (‘Flavor of Love’). Hoopz works out regularly, but carrying a 400-pound man on her back while balancing herself on 5-inch heels is a feat in itself. She should be commended for that.

It’s highly doubtful that Shaq’s ex-wife and baby mama, Shaunie O’Neal, would have given Shaq a ride on her back the way Hoopz did on Jimmy Kimmel Live show on Tuesday. Shaunie seems a little too stiff to bend over for any man to ride her back. But true love is expressed through actions, not just words. It is abundantly clear that Hoopz and Shaq share a special kind of love for each other. Good for them!

Rihanna Performs “We Found Love” Live On X-Factor

Troubled singer Rihanna, 23, performed her hit single, “We Found Love”, on The X-Factor last night. Actually, she lip synced the song while about 15 dancers writhed at her feet. It was a bizarre, lazy performance by the shock princess who sounded like a strangled cat singing over the backing track.

At one point, towards the end of her performance, Rihanna mistakenly lowered the mic while her backing track was still playing. It was a spectacularly unprofessional mistake that caused many Twitter.com users to wonder if the Bajan superstar was drunk.

Beyonce Baby Bump Watch 2011

Cartoon rapper Nicki Minaj tweeted this pic today of herself posing with a very wooden looking Beyonce backstage at the Victoria Secret Fashion show in New York on Wednesday. Normally, Bey’s bump looks like a pillow. But in this pic it looks like she stuffed her laundry and the linen from her hotel bed up under there.

In Case You Missed It: ‘Basketball Wives: LA’, Ep 11

In last night’s episode, the BBWLA cast are still vacationing in Hawaii. The ladies are tired of Jackie Christie’s hypocritical back stabbing, so they take a vote and decide to kick troublemaker Jackie off the island — or at least away from them. “We feel like at this point, collectively, you need to go,” Laura Govan tells her.

But Jackie doesn’t go quietly. She feels betrayed by her friends, Gloria Govan and Draya Face. Jackie seeks comfort in the arms of her loyal husband Doug, “I AM the island!,” she tells him. “I’ve been here, done that sh*t, sixteen, seventeen years! You little punks is new to this and I’m true to this. You all wanna be Jackie Christie!!” Doug nods his head and offers advice, but he is careful not to talk over his wife who has the upper hand in their marriage. Jackie and Doug switched roles a long time ago. It’s an arrangement that works best for them because it fits their unique personalities. Doug is the meek, quiet, submissive partner, while Jackie is dominant in their Folie à deux relationship (“madness shared by two”).
