Jay Z Slammed By Racist NY Post Columnist

Not everyone in New York is excited about rap mogul Jay Z taking a more hands on approach with the NY Nets.

NY Post columnist Phil Mushnick rankled readers with a racist, venom-filled column on Jay Z’s minority ownership of the NY Nets.

In his Equal Time column today, Mushnick wrote the following diatribe about the Nets’ new name, cheerleaders and logo which was designed by the aging rap mogul:

“Why the Brooklyn Nets when they can be the New York Niggas? The cheerleaders could be the Brooklyn Bitches or Hoes,” he wrote.

As long as the Nets are allowing Jay-Z to call their marketing shots — what a shock that he chose black and white as the new team colors to stress, as the Nets explained, their new “urban” home — why not have him apply the full Jay-Z treatment?

Why the Brooklyn Nets when they can be the New York N——s? The cheerleaders could be the Brooklyn B—-hes or Hoes. Team logo? A 9 mm with hollow-tip shell casings strewn beneath. Wanna be Jay-Z hip? Then go all the way!

At least 17,500+ VH1 viewers are sick and tired of VH1′s scripted violence against black women. The show, Basketball Wives, which pretends to follow the troubles and tribulations of a group of “friends,” is actually a scripted TV series with non-actor cast members who are encouraged to stage fake fights to boost TV ratings.

One woman, Alexis M., is tired of the ongoing violence, and the show’s perception that black women are crazy and angry.

Alexis created an online petition to get Evelyn and Chad’s spin-off show canceled before it has even aired.

Not satisfied with just presenting signatures to VH1 (who is probably enjoying the free pub), Alexis M. is going after the show’s advertisers, too. Alexis said one of the show’s sponsors, Burger King, didn’t even know what “Basketball Wives” was.

Tank Calls Brian McKnight Out for Disrespectful “Pu$$y” Song

R&B singer Brian McKnight caused quite a stir earlier this week when he released a sexually graphic track called “(Let Me Show You How Your) Pu$$y Works”. McKnight later admitted the song was a “joke” that he’d written because he was bored while laid up at home with a bum ankle.

R&B crooner Tank was not amused at McKnight’s attention-seeking antics. Just because a man makes you wet and buckles your knees with his high notes, that doesn’t make him a gentleman.

Tank, on the other hand, is always a gentleman who would never stoop to such tactics to get attention.

“That’s not how you talk you to a woman!” said Tank while promoting his upcoming album on the WGCI Morning show on Wednesday. “First of all he’s 57 years old with a mohawk… It was the old dude at the club trying to holla at the 21 year olds.”

Nas and his baby mama air their dirty laundry on Twitter

Emo rapper Nas dropped a sentimental track titled “Daughters” off his upcoming album, Life Is Good.

On the track, Nas wonders aloud if his promiscuous 17-year-old daughter Destiny would have turned out better if he wasn’t such a whoremonger himself. Didn’t he teach his daughter to respect herself even as he rapped about disrespecting other men’s daughters? Nas waxes poetic about lavishing cash and jewels on his kid instead of giving of his time (which is free).

“They say the coolest playas are foulest heart breakers in the world
God gets us back, he makes us have precious little girls”

And now he laments the fact that his grown daughter is posting pics of condoms on Twitter and pretty much advertising her goodies. Nas sounds like a man who’s worried about having to support a daughter and a future grandkid. She’s a chip off the old block, as old folks would say. “Daughters” was produced by No ID.

Destiny’s mother, Carmen Bryant, was outraged that Nas (who is known to be an attention whore) basically called their teenager a slut on a record. She came out swinging on Twitter.com Wednesday, saying Nas should have allowed his daughter to hear the song first.

“I think he really didn’t realize how the song would affect Destiny. He should have allowed her to hear if first,” she tweeted in one message.

Fox News has invited Kim Kardashian and Lindsay Lohan to the White House Correspondents dinner

First the Secret Service brings prostitutes back to their hotel in Colombia, and now Fox News has invited Kim Kardashian and Lindsay Lohan to the White House Correspondents dinner. This may be President Obama’s correspondence dinner if he loses the election to Mitt Romney. What a way for him to leave office. The correspondence dinner is traditionally attended by journalists and their invitees — usually media big wigs and their families.

Pilar Sanders smirks in her mugshot from jail

Pilar Sanders’ mugshot has hit the internets. In the mugshot taken at a Dallas jail last night following her arrest on domestic abuse charges, Pilar smirks at the camera. The fallout from Sanders’ arrest is likely to be huge. She will certainly lose custody of her minor children, and any endorsements she acquired as a result of being married to former NFL star Deion Sanders.

A judge will probably force her to move out of the residence she shares with Deion, since he will ask for a restraining order. According to Deion’s daughter, Deiondra Sanders, Pilar had refused to move out of the mansion.

Deion took to his Twitter page last night to tweet about the attack by Pilar and a female friend, known as @Toothickchick on Twitter.com.
