Celeb Style: Rihanna wearing Louis Stewart backpack
Singer Rihanna was spotted arriving at the Wembley Studio’s in London this morning for her duet on the ‘X-Factor’ final. RiRi showed off her new custom pink Louis Stewart backpack!
Even though she wore a ball cap, we can see that she got rid of that horrid red lacefront wig that she wore for months to promote her album, LOUD. Her hair (or at least her bangs) is now black. We can’t wait to see RiRi’s new hairstyle!
By the way, if you follow Rihanna on Twitter.com, then you know that her BFF Melissa is back in her life! RiRi Twitpic’d a cell picture of her “hoes” – which included Melissa – chilling on a private jet on their way to London last night.
That’s Melissa down in front, and Rihanna is 2nd from left.
As you know, Melissa was missing in action for a great many months while Rihanna wasted her time dating baseball star — and serial cheater — Matt Kemp.
An insider whispered in my ear that Kemp and Melissa didn’t get along with each other, which explains her disappearance from Rihanna’s side. But now that he’s gone, Melissa is back where she belongs!

Ne-Yo’s Surrogate Gives Birth to a Baby Girl *Update*

According to celebrity blogger Tami of Talkingwithtami.com, singer/songwriter Ne-Yo and his fiancée bestie, Monyetta Shaw, delivered a baby girl on Friday (Nov. 12). Congrats to them!

According to People.com, the baby’s name is Madelyn Grace Smith, and she already has a nickname: it’s “Maddie” for short.
Monyetta’s baby shower was scheduled for today — and I was told that she did not attend.
From what I understand (from People.com), Maddie is 2 months premature, which means she can’t breathe on her own and requires a ventilator to assist her breathing. She will remain in neonatal intensive care at least until she is able to breathe on her own — and that’s if she has no other medical complications.
That is sad news for Ne-Yo and his bestie, Monyetta. Rumor has it that Ne-Yo and Monyetta have an agreement. Sort of like a surrogate mom.
Anyway, Monyetta used the loot to open a high end clothing boutique in Buckhead. I don’t care what anyone says about Monyetta: she’s a smart cookie for thinking long term and investing that money in a business.
Maddie’s birth – which wasn’t expected for another 2 months — occurred while Ne-Yo was hosting an exclusive private shopping event at David Yurman’s jewelry boutique inside the upscale Lenox Square Mall in Atlanta on Friday.
According to Tami:
Ne-Yo welcomed everyone but stated that he couldn’t stay long because his fiancée was in labor. Later I found out he had a baby girl, congrats to Neyo and Monyetta! The event was a success and for a good cause!
Celeb Style: Rick Ross and Sean Combs
Allen over at Upscale Hype posted these pics of rapper Rick Ross and rap mogul Sean Combs, otherwise known as the Bugatti Boyz, posing in front of a $2.7 million Bugatti Veyron.
Sean Combs doesn’t mind hopping on the hottest thing moving in order to stay relevant. In this case, he’s hoping flame thrower Rick Ross will carry him on his back for at least another 15 minutes.
The new duo was probably shooting a video for their single titled “Another One”. Rick Ross is wearing an Exclusive Game Clothing custom leather jacket ($2,200), which he matched with a pair of Lanvin high-Top sneakers ($765). Diddy is also seen below rocking an Exclusive Game MCM cognac jacket and what appears to be a pair of Collection by Creative Recreation black high-top studded sneakers ($450)
Speaking of MCM, that brand has enjoyed a resurgence in popularity since producer Kanye West, and others, started wearing pieces from MCMs TI$A line. MCM was very popular among the urban set back in the 80s. There was even a MCM store at the upscale Lenox Square mall in Atlanta when I first moved here from Miami in 1990.

Pop star Rihanna was spotted leaving her hotel in NYC headed to JFK to catch a flight today. The very stylish Diva was wearing a grey cardigan with black leather sleeves over black leggings with Christian Louboutin lace up flats.
She was also rocking the LV Monogram Cheche Gypsy PM duffel bag from Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection.
The Monogram Cheche duffel bag retails for $3,850 and it is hawt! Only a fabulous style Diva like RiRi can pull this look off and make it work!
