T.I. and Tiny made a grand entrance at the block party thrown by local businesswoman Tranace Sabb, far right, in Clayton County, Georgia.

The occasion was the birthday party of Tranace Sabb's son, Justin, 9, seen here with T.I., and the grand opening of her restaurant, Creme de la Creme Soul Food Kitchen, which is located inside the same strip mall as her hair salon.

L to R: Bahja (OMG Girlz), T.I.'s daughter Deyjah, Tiny's daughter Zonnique, Tiny and businesswoman Tranace Sabb. If you recall, Qt Jazz, 14, and Zonnique, 13, were the original members of the QT Posse years ago.

A few years ago I discovered that a long lost friend was the tour director for singer Beyonce.

Knowing that she checks in regularly, I'm posting this tutorial hoping that she will see it and pass it on to Beyonce, who seems to have trouble finding good stylists who are proficient at applying wig glue.

Beyonce's hairlines are always a tragic mess, and even I feel sorry for her when I see her struggling with her lacefront wigs.

Again, I am in no way hating on Beyonce. But we should never see hairlines looking a nappy mess like Beyonce's in this day and age with so much technology (and such quality wig glue) available to us.

Local party promoter Slimm (who is dating actress Vivica A. Fox) took note of all your hateful comments regarding his Rastafarian dreadlocks.

Not that he cares what anyone thinks about his personal style, Slimm decided to get a new hair style for the Summer to keep his long hair out of his face.

Slimm knows that among the haters he has a few admirers. So for them, Slimm sent along this photo and asks the question "How ya like me now?"

You think you pay high prices for a few packages of yaki? One NY model takes her hair quest for the perfect hair to the extreme:

Brandi Irwin, 28, a foot model and photographer, spends tens of thousands on her hair. Indeed, she may just have the most expensive hair in New York City.

She gets her more than $46,000 locks from stylist Kristina Barricelli and her team at Gemini 14 salon in Manhattan.

Brandi's custom hairdo involves 250,000 strands of hair extensions imported from India and colored in Italy.

The extensions are put in strand-by-strand and the process takes nine hours."

"You work hard, you play hard," Brandi says. "My hair is my biggest accessory."

She says she "can't put a price" on how it makes her feel.

Barricelli says the treatment lasts a few months, which is why the cost adds up.

Butch looking pseudo singer Ciara hides her face under an Atlanta Braves cap and black hoodie as she makes her way into the Warren Tricomi salon in Hollywood to get her weave tightened up yesterday. There's word that Ciara is contemplating a move back East after telling friends she's bored with the celebrity-driven lifestyle in L.A. "She's sorry she moved [to L.A. from Atlanta]. She's just another bug in the rug out in L.A.," one of CiCi's closest pals tells Sandrarose.com. The insider said friends continue to worry about CiCi's mental and emotional well being after her quiet breakup with rapper 50 Cent.

It seems CiCi thought her move to L.A. would bring her more fame (and happiness), but instead she found that she got more attention when she was in Atlanta -- and she didn't have to call the paparazzi to tell them where she was going to be. It's hard for a narcissist when you're surrounded by bigger narcissists than you.

Tameka "Tiny" Cottle and Antonia "Toya" Carter look stunning on the cover of this month's Hype Hair magazine.

In a recent interview with Honey mag, the ladies shared their relationship experience and wisdom with their younger fans by telling them that it's not okay to be loose with their bodies. Hopefully, the young ladies will take heed of their advice.

How soon is too soon to get intimate with a guy?
Toya: When you first meet him like in the first 8 months. I think that’s too soon. Some of them just want to talk to you because of who you know, who you are, what you’re doing so you have to test them out. I want to know if you like me or who I am associated with. You have to feel them out.

Bad guy or good guy? Who are you more attracted to and why?
Tiny: Honestly I’ve always been into the bad boy – I can’t lie. Something about the bad boy just attracts me, just gets my attention you know? There are some good guys that I can think of now that can be sexy, now that I’m older. But when I was younger, it would always be the bad boy.

Toya: I don’t like a softy softy but I don’t like a thug either. The reason why is because I don’t need any thugs around me. I have a daughter. I need someone who is well-established, not into a lot of BS, and very family-oriented. Someone that is cool and not on no dumb stuff. You can’t just bring everybody around your kids. I’m dating. I need someone I can bring home to my daughter. Not just anybody can come around her.

The 2nd season of the popular Tiny and Toya Show premieres on BET April 13th.

On Monday, Rapper Lil Wayne began serving a 12 month sentence for weapons possession at NY's infamous Riker's Island prison. With rumors of gang threats against his life weighing heavy on his mind, Wayne made the brave decision to mingle with the prison population rather than accept a cell on an isolaton ward.

Still, according to a Riker's guard who spoke with blogger Combat Jack, Wayne has been receiving special treatment from Riker's corrections officers, two of whom have already been written up for bending the prison's rules for Weezy:

“…A couple of guards have been written up, only because they’ve acted like fans, having more personal interaction with Wayne than is procedure, prolly acting all star struck, which, once again, the system does it’s best to discourage... For the most part though, Wayne has been pretty quiet, staying mostly inside his jail cell. There doesn’t seem to be anyone, any faction trying to get at him in any harmful way, because he’s new and because he hasn’t violated any of the codes customary to inmate living the prison life. As I was told, it’s too early to determine how the rest of his experience will be, but so far, so good. It’s all in Lil Wayne’s hands.“

The guard also said the prison has been inundated with calls from Wayne's camp questioning if the prison will force Wayne to cut his dreads. Prison officials say that as long as Wayne's dreads are real (and he keeps them neat and clean) they won't be chopped off. Hopefully, they're real.

The NY prison system provides barbers and beauticians for the inmates to keep them looking presentable free of charge.

Music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs was spotted leaving the Black Eyed Peas concert at the Paladium in LA last night. Puff was the fodder of many blog posts this week after his first baby mama, Misa Hylton, called him and his other baby mama Kim Porter out during a radio interview.

It's interesting to note that Misa was aware of Sean's other baby mama, Sarah Chapman, for almost 16 years. But the two women only recently became friends after Sarah's adorable baby girl Chance was born. Before Chance was born, Sarah and Misa never once exchanged words or greetings. They weren't friends at all. But now Sarah and Misa absolutely "adore" each other's children, and they make their friendship work for the children.

That's what mature, intelligent women do: they selflessly put their children first!

By the way, Misa is is putting out her own hair line, according to TaSh. The line is called Unconfined Coif, and uses only quality Yaki. Misa not only owns the line but she wears it too! Until now, it's been difficult finding human hair weave that is manufactured and distributed by a sistah. Good for her!

Our precious little Lacefront Baby is becoming a legend in her own time. Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian, co-hosts of the popular Young Turks radio show, tackle the issue of wigs on a baby.

They seem to agree with me that lacefront wigs (made popular by Beyonce) look hideous on our beautiful black women and children. "The baby is cute but the wig is not. It's freaking me out," declares Cenk.

Thanks to loyal reader, and blogger Gina (What About Our Daughters) for the video link!

I had no idea that my recent post on the cutie pie Lacefront Baby would draw so much attention from around the country. I'm still getting emails about that post (including one from the baby's family threatening a lawsuit).

Talk Diva Tyra Banks tackled the issue of baby wigs on a recent episode of her hit show. And now Parent Dish has also weighed in on the controversy.

Mommy-n-me wigs may just be the most disturbing parenting trend we've heard in a long time, and The Frisky agrees with us. That site wants to know what's next: Thong diapers?

How about coordinating stripper poles, one for the nursery and one for the master bedroom? Or better yet, twin therapists to deal with their matching self-esteem issues? Suri's high heels are starting to look a lot more innocent with every waking moment.

We even found an entire site dedicated to hair-raising a child.

Not surprising that super models want to check out the trend. Here's a discussion of baby wigs on the Tyra Banks show:

Thanks to loyal reader RS for the tip!

OK we get it, hair grows a ½ inch per month and Rihanna is simply growing out her relaxer. But couldn't her hair stylist cover up her track better than that? This is the type of hair faux pas we would expect from Beyonce or Tameka Foster Glover, but not from the style icon.

How embarrassing.

The stylish Diva promoted her new CD 'Rated R' during a taping of 'On the Record' with host Toure' to appear on Fuse TV on Nov. 26.

A loyal reader sent me these pics of her precious infant daughter wearing her first lacefront wig.

She writes: "It's never too early for my baby to start looking glamorous like Beyonce!"

Awww, she's a cutie. Normally I would frown on this sort of thing. But I try to keep an open mind and remember that hoodrats raise their children differently and I can't knock their unconventional child rearing methods just because I don't understand them.

A loyal reader sent in this poem in honor of the lacefront baby.

Dear Lord,
I'm saying this prayer to you today,
Please help me get away.
The parents you gave [me] were rejected by you,
I came out the womb with no clue.
You created me grand,
Tiny and precious and not in command.
These pictures will live in infamy,
A pretty baby made to look ugly.
My mommy and daddy are too stupid to know,
That my hair will eventually grow.
Dear Lord, Please help me leave.
My idiot parents gave me a weave.

Updated with pics from Leona Lewis' listening party held last night in LA. Why do I keep hearing that classic LTD hit "Holding On" every time I see Ciara's edges?

Holding on is very hard to do
    When your edges are gone
    And thats no lie

Struggling pop singer Ciara was photographed leaving the Warren Trecomi Salon in West Hollywood yesterday wearing a new hairstyle.

If you recall, it was at that salon that Ciara got a touch up that exposed her thin edges that were eaten away by the lacefront adhesive that she uses to keep her lacefronts from flying away.

Unfortunately, we can't see the new hairdo very well because of the low resolution of the images. I'll see if I can find more pics online.

Ciara brushed her hair a little differently over the weekend. Notice how she brushed her hair down and behind her hairs? That's called a modified combover to cover up the fact that her edges have seen better days.

But at least she didn't throw on a ratty lacefront wig like Beyonce would have done. CiCi knows her edges are jacked up, and she's working on bringing them back to life. Good for her!

Speaking of life, CiCi gave them just that on the red carpet with her calves of death at the MOCA 30th Anniversary Exhibition. I bet Ciara can crack coconuts with those hammers. Home girl was workin' it!

This might be the only time this year we get to see Ciara's real hair without a lacefront obstructing her real hairline. These lacefront wigs are really taking a toll on the hairlines of singers in the industry. No wonder Beyonce would rather wear a matted up lacefront than be caught dead in public with her vanishing edges exposed.

As we can see from these pics taken of Ciara leaving the Warren Trecomi Salon in W. Hollywood yesterday, she's just barely clinging to what's left of her hairline.

It looks like home girl just got a touch up at the salon and she decided to let her hair breath by attaching a ponytail extension. It wouldn't look so bad if we couldn't tell the obvious difference in texture between her just relaxed hair and that hair piece in the back.

Does pop singer Alicia Keys realize she's losing her hair? Maybe people in her camp are afraid to tell her, you think? Clearly her hairline is fading fast. Alicia Keys attended The 10th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards held at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas yesterday.

In these pics, her thinning hairline is quite noticeable. My friend Jai Jai explained to me how lacefront wigs work and why you rarely ever see chicks like Beyonce, Tyra Banks without one.

Jai Jai said the glue eats up your edges and your hairline. Maybe Alicia Keys is allowing her hair to rest after wearing a lacefront so much?

Notice how thin Tyra Banks' own hairline looks when she pulls her hair back? That comes from years of wearing lacefront with that glue. That doesn't seem healthy for your hair. But speaking of Tyra, don't you love how she looks with no makeup on? That's how I like chicks to look. Just natural with healthy, glowing skin. Or very little makeup on. I'm easy.

Check out more AK pics after the break!

Did you know there's a new trend called Posing or Pose? I just found out about it on the social networking site Twitter.com.

Apparently, trannies like Leiomy Maldonado, who quit that Vogue Evolution's group that gained a little shine on America's Dance Crew TV show -- have a growing cult following among college students.

Anyway, these young girls are emulating the full fledged, over-the-top hair extravagance that transgenders like Leiomy are known for. In other words they LOVE that tranny look. That's crazy to me. What do you think?

As most of you already know, Chris Rock's comedy/documentary on all things permed and weaved, "Good Hair" -- bombed at the box office.

All the pre-hype and priceless guest appearances on mainstream talk shows didn't help boost ticket sales as the movie came in at #14 with just under $1 million in receipts.

A-List magazine thinks the blame should fall on Rock himself.

According to A-List magazine, good ol' word of mouth and lack of "social media" marketing killed Good Hair's chances at the box office.

A thread on AOL Black Voices forums titled "who wants good hair to fail" summed up the feelings of black women everywhere who were offended by Chris Rock's documentary and complained that he pandered to white women who, themselves wear weave and clips. The mag also makes the argument that Rock failed to highlight the "healthy hair" movement in black salons that push their clients away from the creamy crack (relaxers) and more toward healthier methods of hair styling.

One BV member hoped the movie would not do well:

How embarrassing for Tameka Foster: first her soon-to-be-ex husband Usher called the cops on her twice for vandalizing his car. Then rapper Young Jeezy dissed her to her face at the new Compound nightclub last night.

After I posted the pics from last night, my readers pointed out the visible tracks in Tameka's horrible weave. How tacky! It just goes to show that money doesn't buy class.

Actress Nia Long is beauty personified! Nia let her real hair down for the NYC premiere of Chris Rock's "Good Hair" last night. She was stunning in a short white party dress and peep toe heels. I LOVE a confident woman who can toss aside her weave and display her true crowning glory. She gets a pass for the breast implants.

Talk show hostess Wendy Williams attended the NYC premiere of Chris Rock's "Good Hair" last night with her serial cheater husband Kevin. It mnust be nice to be able to afford the best Yaki straight from the source.

Why does professional beard Amber Rose make me want to hurl every time I see her? Maybe it's because she's trying so hard to pass for black in 2009? Who does that?

Don't let this picture fool you. The Reverend Al Sharpton and actress LisaRaye are still hanging tight, according to my sources. I'm told they will both be in Atlanta -- together -- for the BET Hip Hop Awards this weekend. I don't know if their relationship is serious or if they're both using each other for shock value.

Director Chris Rock checking out all the bad weaves and lacefronts at his NYC premiere last night. I'm told that 2 bundles of human hair Fed Ex'd straight from the source will set you back almost $400! And that doesn't include the stylist's time to glue or sew it all in. That price is just for the hair! No thanks.

Singer Ashanti showed off her combination of good hair and weave at the NYC premiere of "Good Hair" last night. Shout out to industry veteran Lisa McCall!

Ashanti should stop singing and just walk red carpets for the rest of her career. If Amber Rose can walk red carpets for no reason, why can't she? LOVE the shoes!

Before we get to the email, let's make it clear that Oprah asked Solange Knowles to be on the show because of her sister Beyonce. She probably asked Beyonce first but Bey declined because she didn't want to get clowned for wearing all that weave. Despite what comes out of her mouth, Solange wanted all this attention from shaving her head.

Still, I am proud of her for taking this drastic step (she can't help if her head is shaped like a coconut). I wish ALL black woman, LSLH women and sisters of color would throw down their weaves and go natural. I really do hate to see our women wearing weave. Especially those ghetto braid extensions.

Loyal reader N.D. writes:

Did you catch Oprah today? Solange just made herself look like a fool by saying that she got her first perm when she was 4 years old, only to later say that her mom forbid perms in their household. What sense does that make? I've been trying to find the video, because I just can't believe she would tell a lie just like that on national TV. However, I can't find the footage anywhere.

In case you've been wondering what singer Keyshia Cole has been up to lately since she's no longer touring or starring in her own reality TV series.

According to TaSh:

Keyshia was at Walmart in Cleveland, OH on Friday Sept. 11. She was there promoting the Luster’s Pink Collection, and signed autographs as well as took pics with the fans. Her man Daniel “Boobie” Gibson was there as well.

Awww, don't they make the perfect couple?

Beyonce's sister Solange knowles drew stares as she strolled down the street in NYC today. Solange is in town for Fashion Week. I don't know what the hail she's wearing, but I LOVE the shoes.

I was on Solo's Twitter today and all her followers were praising her and telling her how pretty she was. But I didn't see one Tweet praising her for putting texturizer in her hair -- so I left a tweet saying just that (I hope she reads it).

I'm beginning to warm to her Solange's news tyle, although her receding hairline still snags my eye, but I'll get over it. See, ladies, that's what happens to your hairline when you wear weaves and extensions.

The moment we all waited for finally arrived yesterday when talk show host Tyra Banks unveiled her real hair. Tyra walked out onstage during the opening minutes of her 5th season premiere show wearing her relaxed hair wet and straight back.

After explaining she's worn wigs, weaves, and clip ons since she was 17 years old, Tyra invited 15 audience members to come onstage and do a track test to feel for tracks.

Moments after her new season premiered, the social micro-bloggin network Twitter.com lit up with tweets accusing Tyra of having relaxer in her hair. I don't recall Tyra saying she was going natural. All she said was she would reveal her real hair, hence the title "Real Hair Day."

Tyra also launched her new online magazine (she calls it a "magaline"). Here's the link: http://www.tyrabanks.com/ Looking good, Tyra!

If you didn't already know, local rapstress Rasheeda's fifth studio album, Certified Hood Chick, is in stores now!

Don't tell anybody I told you this, but I heard that the last time rapper Nikki Minaj was in the A she had the nerve to try to step to my girl Rasheeda. Whut? She didn't know Rasheeda stays packing heat. But I'm sure she found out!

Unlike that hood rat Nikki Minaj, Rasheeda can actually rap and has had local hits. We here at Sandrarose.com love Rasheeda because she is real. She'll tell you about yourself in a minute. And she is never too big to attend another rapper's parties without demanding or expecting compensation. In other words, she knows how to be a friend and when to be an artist.

Rasheeda doesn't floss or perpetrate like Nikki Minaj either. And unlike Nikki, Rasheeda doesn't wear the same thing EVERY time you see her.

When asked about her nationality (because she does look mixed), Rasheed responds, "I am ghetto, classy, crazy, African American hood chick."

Oh, and, unlike Nikki Minaj, Rasheeda's long, wavy curls are REAL!

Personal stats: Rasheeda is married with children.

TV talk show host Tyra Banks posted this pic on her twitter page last week of her real hair which she blurred in Photoshop.

She tweeted:

"Here's me rockin my REAL hair, had 2 blur it so its still a surprise on Sept 8! Who else is sportin their real hair that day?"

Tyra has challenged sistahs everywhere to put aside their slave hair and rock their real hair on September 8 (Real Hair Day) when the new season of her popular talk show premieres.

Although I rock my real hair every day, I feel like doing something different with it on Real hair Day. Maybe I'll shave off one side of my head and post a pic. In fact, ladies, send in a pic if you rock your real hair on Sept. 8, so I can post them!

Can't wait to see Tyra's (and your) crowning glory!
