It was an intense race for #1 between Janet Jackson and Erykah Badu. But Janet’s Discipline was the clear victor with an unofficial 178,010 units sold in its first week to Amerykah’s 122,708.

With 62% of the building sales chart already in, Janet Jackson and Erykah Badu are in a dead heat for the #1 spot. Janet’s 10th studio album Discipline currently sits at #1 with 110,000 units sold. While Erykah’s Amerykah is close behind with 88,000 units sold.
