R&B Diva Keyshia Cole, 30, was spotted shopping at the Grove in West Hollywood with husband Daniel Gibson and their 2-year-old son Daniel Jr. in West Hollywood, CA, Wednesday. Daniel, 26, is on medical leave from the Cleveland Cavaliers NBA team. According to ESPN, Daniel has a torn tendon in his left foot and ankle and will miss the remainder of the season. Gibson is seen in the photos hobbling on cutches and being pushed in a wheelchair.
During his hiatus from the team, Daniel and Keyshia are filming a reality tv show. As I told you previously, Keyshia’s record label is unhappy with her recording schedule for her next album. The untitled album’s release date has been pushed back. And Keyshia reportedly ran through her recording budget last year.
Reality TV shows could affect Mavericks, Cavaliers schedules
Dallas Mavericks star forward Lamar Odom did not return to his team Tuesday after taking a leave of absence for unspecified “personal” reasons last week.
Odom, who was scheduled to return to the team after the All-Star break, was not in the Mavericks lineup for the NJ Nets vs Mavs game Tuesday night in Dallas. He also missed the previous game the Wednesday night before the break, against his former team the Lakers.
Speculation is running rampant about Odom’s future with the team. Coach Rick Carlisle and Mavericks owner Mark Cuban have both refuted rumors of a possible buyout of Odom’s contract.
“I knew I’d get the question over and over again until I said I wouldn’t do it,” Cuban told the Washington Post, adding there hadn’t even been a discussion about a buyout. “We want him to contribute. We want him to help.”
Sources close to Odom’s camp told Sandrarose.com that Odom, a 13-year veteran, missed a game last week to re-shoot scenes for his reality show ‘Khloe & Lamar‘ on E!
Another NBA team that could be affected by the reality TV shooting schedule of one of its star players is the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Former Keyshia Cole associate arrested for wife’s murder
A tip called in to an Ohio fugitive task force ended the 2-year manhunt for a fugitive wanted for murder in Riverdale, GA.
According to Fox 5, the tip led police to the doorstep of the Cleveland, Ohio home where Wisdom Jeffrey was holed up. He was arrested peacefully after U.S. Marshals surrounded the home early Friday.
Jeffrey was charged with the Aug. 11, 2010 shotgun death of his estranged wife, Corrissa Friends, 21, at the Chateau Phase II apartments at 6603 Church St in Riverdale.
He is being held without bond while he awaits extradition to Atlanta.
Corrissa met Jeffrey at her family owned car wash when she was 17. Jeffrey occasionally brought in one of singer Keyshia Cole’s cars to be washed. The music industry insider often dropped Cole’s name to impress the high school student. He took her on dates to industry parties where he introduced her to celebrities. It was heady stuff for a teenager.
Corrissa and Jeffrey were soon married. But their brief marriage was an abusive one.
Corrissa’s murder case was profiled on ‘America’s Most Wanted‘ in April of last year. Jeffrey had been on the run for nearly a year by the time the program aired on FOX.
The couple’s baby girl, Casey, 3, is now being raised by Corrissa’s parents, Charles and Patricia Friends.
“It’s a burden off of us because now, the protectiveness that we’ve had in terms of watching over our shoulder in reference to the baby is all gone,” said Charles Friends.

As we told you, Keyshia’s record label is not at all happy with the schedule for recording her new album. In fact, a label source says the label is fed up with all the delays due to Keyshia’s personal life, and her reality show, taking priority over her career.

Singer Keyshia Cole Gibson accompanied her hubby, Daniel Gibson, and their 1-year-old son, DJ, to the Dream Halloween event benefitting Children Affected By Aids Foundation and Keep a Child Alive in Los Angeles on Saturday (Oct. 29).
Also attending the Keep a Child Alive event was actress Holly Robinson-Peete as cartoon character Lil Wayne.
Keyshia Cole celebrates her 30th birthday in Cleveland
According to Z1079, singer Keyshia Cole Gibson celebrated her 30th birthday with her hubby, Daniel Gibson, and friends over the weekend in Cleveland, Ohio. The happy couple celebrated Keyshia’s birthday with an 80s-themed bash at Tavo Martini Loft last night.
