Kim Kardashian wins settlement against blogger; shut down blog
Reality maven Kim Kardashian won a civil settlement against her former publicist, celebrity blogger Jonathan Jaxson — barring him from spilling any more teas about her.
On Wednesday, the 31-year-old E! star’s lawyers issued a statement to Us Weekly, saying: “Kim Kardashian is very happy to announce that she has reached a settlement of her claims against Jonathan Jaxson. . .Kim is extremely pleased with the outcome of the matter.”
It’s highly unlikely that their settlement includes any monetary damages — since Jaxson doesn’t have any money. It more than likely includes language ordering Jaxson to keep his mouth shut — or else.
According to US magazine, As part of the settlement, Jaxson issued a public apology on his official website. “I wanted to apologize publicly to Kim Kardashian for any confusion that I may have caused by the personal statements I made recently regarding Kim Kardashian,” Jaxson wrote. “I would like to further clarify that I did not have any first hand knowledge of Kim’s relationship with Kris.”
Jaxson’s official website is no longer online, probably per the settlement agreement.
Despite Kardashian’s denials, there is no doubt that Jaxson once worked for Kardashian. There are videos and photos online of them together during happier times… if you feel like searching.
Plus, back in 2007, I met Jaxson at a party that I was hired to shoot for one of his clients (a Soap star whose name I can’t recall). Jaxson was your typical loose cannon who could not stop dishing the dirt about his other clients — Lindsay Lohan and Kim Kardashian.
Hopefully, Jaxson has learned his lesson to stop running his mouth so much and save all his dirt for a book… like I’m doing.

Actress Lindsay Lohan was seen leaving a LA court room after getting a rave review from Judge Stephanie Sautner during her probation progress report hearing this morning. According to TMZ, Sautner proudly announced, “You’re in the home stretch!” Lindsay has reportedly credited the judge for using “tough love” saving her acting career.

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan was home alone in Venice Beach, California on Sunday when a stranger walked up to her front door and knocked. Lohan asked the elderly man what he wanted but she didn’t open her door. According to celebrity website TMZ.com, the man responded that he was friends with another alleged Lohan stalker, David Cocordan, and he wanted to explain a few things to Lindsay.
It isn’t clear who called the police, but they arrived a few minutes later and cuffed the man. He was later identified as Lonnie Short, 64, (pictured below being arrested) and he apparently can’t afford the 10% ($100) of his $1000 bail to get out of jail, which is probably a good thing for Lindsay.
Her frightening encounter with the stranger has set Lindsay’s nerves on edge, and for good reason. As a very high profile actress whose face is recognized around the world, it makes no sense that she doesn’t live in a gated community patrolled by live security 24 hours a day.
TMZ reports that Lohan has hired a bodyguard to stay with her temporarily, and she has ramped up security in her luxury 3-story Venice Beach rental with surveillance cameras in an effort to protect her privacy — and maybe her life.

The lovely Paula Patton stopped by ‘The Today Show’ in NYC to promote her movie ‘Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol’ this morning. It must be hard on Robin Thicke to be known more for being Paula’s husband than his music. I couldn’t name one song he sings, but I know who his gorgeous wife is.

Troubled singer Rihanna, 23, was spotted out & about in Milan, Italy on Monday. The singer is reportedly depressed over the poor sales of her album, Talk That Talk, in the U.S. Although the CD sold over 300K in Europe in the first week, she has only managed to sell a total of 290K copies of TTT in the U.S. in the 3 weeks since it was released. Poor RiRi can’t sell 300K in the U.S. even though she has over 10 million followers on Twitter.com. Rihanna was recently overheard saying “I need a drink” after the blogs reported on her latest flare up with one of her followers who asked her something about Chris Brown. But Rihanna has been placed on notice by her label that if she gets drunk in public one more time, they will cut off her video budget for her album, which isn’t selling anyway.

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan blew off an appearance on Ellen Degeneres’ show today, but she was spotted last night attending Jay Z and Kanye West’s WTT concert at the Staples Center with her baby sister Ali Lohan in Los Angeles. Lindsay was on time for her progress hearing early this morning. According to TMZ.com, Judge Stephanie Sautner began by saying, “Miss Lohan, you have actually done your work.”
The judge noted Lindsay actually completed her 12 days of community service early. And she went to an extra therapy session — 5 instead of the required 4. The judge also said the morgue was pleased by the work Lindsay has done there “at least as pleased as a morgue can be.”

Jacko’s Daughter, Paris Jackson, Says Wearing Masks Was ‘Stupid’
Michael Jackson’s adopted daughter, Paris Jackson, 13, was a guest on ‘Ellen‘ where she promoted her first acting role and the book that the movie is based on. Paris was a substitute for troubled actress Lindsay Lohan who blew off her scheduled appearance on Ellen today.
During the interview, Paris all but confirmed our suspicions that she was fake crying during her father’s emotional star-studded funeral in 2009.
As it turns out, Paris has been practicing crying on cue since she was a toddler.
Paris told Ellen that she caught the acting bug after watching Jackson act in the Disney full length music video Moonwalker as a kid. “We did improvs together, and I would cry on the spot,” she said. “You could cry on the spot? That’s impressive!” remarked Ellen, who added “Then he didn’t know if you were really crying or if you were acting.” To which Paris replied: “Apparently I was faking it a lot of times.“

As some of you may know, troubled actress Lindsay Lohan was just sentenced to 30 days in jail for violating the terms of her probation. The ‘Mean Girls’ star has until Nov. 9 to turn herself in. But due to extreme overcrowding conditions at the county jail, LiLo will likely serve only 7-10 days behind bars. Judge Stephanie Sautner revoked Lohan’s probation on October 19, and sentenced her today after Lohan was kicked out of the Downtown Woman’s center for repeatedly failing to appear for her community service. We have lost count just how many times Lindsay has been sent to jail for violating her probation over the past two years. Apparently, this is an amusing game to her.
