Celebs Out & About: Kevin Hart’s “Laugh At My Pain” LA Premiere
Comedian Kevin Hart’s “Laugh At My Pain” Los Angeles Premiere after party had more stars than the BET Awards! The event was held at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood last night. Hart is pictured above with his “trophy” date Eniko Parish.
The roll of B and C-list stars who attended the event was a Whose Who of black celebrities current and present, including Gabrielle Union (pictured above), Jamie Foxx, LisaRaye, Arsenio Hall, Cedric the Entertainer, Claudia Jordan (remember her?), Tisha Campbell and Duane Martin, Eddie Murphy, Eva Pigford, Marlon Wayans, Affion Crokett, Meagan Good, Melody Thornton, Michael Ealy, Niecy Nash, Adam Rodriguez, Snoop Dogg, Tami Roman, Shaunie O’Neal, Mario, Tichina Arnold, Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa and Toccara Jones just to name a few!
LisaRaye wants you to know…
“Single Ladies” star LisaRaye, who is currently on tour in Italy (no doubt spending that “Single Ladies” cash), was forced to interrupt her vacation yesterday to respond to the backlash she received from Stacey Dash fans on Facebook.
As you know, there are unsubstantiated rumors circulating about Dash’s abrupt termination from the popular VH1 show. LisaRaye posted this message to her Facebook wall:
As everyone know I am in Italy vacationing. I was just made aware of the lies that are being spread by Mediatakeout and other blogs that like to create false stories. I was not even aware that Stacy Dash had been fired from Single Ladies. Furthermore if she has been fired that is a network decision. I don’t have the power to get her fired nor do I have any beef with her. Now im going to go continue enjoying my vacation!
Stacy Littlejohn, the show’s principal writer and executive producer, also responded to the grilling on LisaRaye’s Facebook:
LisaRaye is a very strong woman and we love her, but she does not have that kind of power, nor at any time did she seek to influence any casting decisions. Furthermore, no cast member of Single Ladies has the power to get another cast member fired. the 6th grade back-stabbing that LisaRaye’s being accused of is completely the creation of uninformed, instigating internet gossip. Please don’t buy into it. Let’s just celebrate that we have a Season 2 coming!!!!
But why would anyone think LisaRaye had anything to do with Dash’s dismissal from the show when LisaRaye is just a cast member herself? If people on Facebook are this dumb I’m glad I don’t have a Facebook page.
Anyway, LisaRaye tweeted these photos from her vacation. Enjoy!

In Case You Missed It: Single Ladies & BBQ Wives Season Finale’s
Last night’s final episode of VH1′s “Single Ladies” went out with a bang after limping through scenes that looked like they were thrown together at the last minute.
The final episode aired amid rumors that the show’s star, Stacey Dash, was fired by executive producer Queen Latifah weeks ago. Those rumors tie in with reports that surfaced before the season premiere about Dash falling out with her SL co-star LisaRaye McCoy.
Dash didn’t address the rumors on her Twitter page last night. But she did urge her 145,000 followers to tune into the show’s final.

Report: Stacey Dash Fired from Single Ladies

According to In Touch Weekly (the TV show, not the blog), actress Stacey Dash was fired from VH1′s popular scripted hit show, “Single Ladies.” According to Jawn Murray, a search has been underway for Dash’s replacement for weeks.
He tweeted that Dash clashed with co-star LisaRaye and other cast members of Single Ladies, which led to her dismissal from the show.
This is shocking news to “Single Ladies” diehard fans who tune into the hourly show each week to see Stacey’s adorable walk and what she’s wearing.
Murray tweeted that Inside Weekly is “recasting” for Stacey’s part. It seems strange that it would take so long to find her replacement. It’s also odd that Stacey tweeted this message to her 146,000 followers earlier today.

She hardly seems upset if she was fired.
Publicity stunt much?
Episode 10 airs tonight on VH1 at 9 p.m. EST.
In Case You Missed It: Single Ladies, Episode 9

Last night’s episode of VH1′s “Single Ladies” was another yawner as the scripted series continues to lose viewers by the thousands. The Queen Latifah produced series was crushed by VH1′s sports-themed reality series “Basketball Wives” in the TV ratings last week.
The problems could be the terrible acting of some of the walk on actors, and the writing lacks the originality and excitement of the first 3 episodes.
“Single Ladies” was filmed on location in the Atlanta area, and stars LisaRaye McCoy (Keisha), Stacey Dash (Val) and Charity Shea (April).
In Case You Missed It: Single Ladies, Episode 8 “Can’t Hide Love”

I searched the entire Internet and finally found the full episode of Single Ladies, episode 8 for you Single Ladies fans.
“Single Ladies” was filmed on location in the Atlanta area, and stars LisaRaye McCoy (Keisha), Stacey Dash (Val) and Charity Shea (April).
In episode 108 entitled “Can’t Hide Love,” April bribes a local radio station DJ (played by singer Kelly Rowland) with clothing from Val’s high end boutique in exchange for radio spins for her artist Reed Durham. Val (Stacey Dash) throws an intimate party for four where Keisha catches her man, Malcolm (D.B. Woodside), possibly cheating on her.
In Case You Missed It: Single Ladies, Episode 7
Last night’s episode of VH1′s “Single Ladies” was better than last week’s disaster. Thank God the producers didn’t revisit the Val (Stacey Dash) and Sharon (Queen Latifah) lesbian foolery. Episode 7 follows the continuing struggles of Keisha (LisaRaye McCoy), who strives to remain fiercely independent and secure by not giving in to the man she loves (D.B. Woodside).
(Keisha does not have an addictive personality.)
And Val’s no good ex, NBA bench player Quinn (Kyle Durrett) tries to get back on her good side in hopes of using her to forestall his trade to the Washington Wizards, which he knows is a career ending move. Val is dating the savvy owner of Quinn’s fictional basketball team. But in next week’s episode, Val learns the hard way that all is not as it seems if a wealthy man is over 40 and single but he’s not a widow.
“Single Ladies” was filmed on location in the Atlanta area. VH1 announced a 2nd season of the popular scripted series yesterday! “Single Ladies” airs on Mondays at 9 p.m. EST.
