Last night, following 'Love & Hip Hop' episode 3, VH1 aired a sneak peek of T.I.'s new reality series 'T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle', which premieres Monday, Dec. 5.
The series is based on the post-prison life of rapper T.I., and the different hustles that T.I., Tiny and their children have going on. For instance, T.I.'s son Domani, whom he dotes on, is following in his father's footsteps by picking up the mic.
Tiny's friends, who sometimes travel with the couple on the road, provide the necessary drama in the series. But the focus seems to be primarily on cash money, and T.I.'s drive to keep the cash pipelines open now that his legal problems are over.
"No matter how long it took for me to get it right, it never get wrong again," says T.I. emphatically.
He adds: "The most important thing to me in the world: God, family, hustle, in that order."
Usually when completely mismatched couples get together, the fake excitement and passion that they feel for one another is fueled by a brain chemical called Dopamine -- not to be confused with eternal love.
This chemical helps to remove the hesitancy, uncertainty and doubts that one might feel so that they can quickly get to the matter at hand -- hot, passionate, sticky sex in order to populate the earth.
The street drugs cocaine and Ecstasy work in much the same way.
So once that Dopamine stops leaking in their brains, some normalcy is restored and these couples are often left wondering what the heck they saw in each other in the first place.
That's the dilemma that R&B crooner Usher Raymond and his ex-wife, Tameka Foster, faced before they got divorced. To complicate matters even further: they have two sons together.
Now word is spreading around the industry that Usher and Tameka are no longer on speaking terms with each other. They say that if Usher wants to communicate with Tameka he sends word through a liaison.
I also heard that Usher has much more than joint custody of his kids, and that the children are with him more than they are with Tameka. But, according to gossip website TMZ.com, that information appears to be inaccurate -- Usher and Tameka still share joint custody of their boys, but now Tameka wants a judge to strip Usher of his parental rights because he closed her Saks Fifth Avenue card.
An Atlanta business woman has come forward claiming she had a 13-year sexual relationship with GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain.
MyFOX Atlanta reports that "over the Thanksgiving weekend, FOX 5 senior I-Team reporter Dale Russell sat down with Ginger White, who had an amazing story to tell."
"It was pretty simple," White said. "It wasn't complicated. I was aware that he was married. And I was also aware I was involved in a very inappropriate situation, relationship."
Even before White's story was known to the public, Mr. Cain went on CNN today and announced there would be another claim of infidelity made against him. He went on record denying the most recent allegations that had not been made yet.
Here's an excerpt of a statement released by Mr. Cain's Atlanta attorney Lin Wood today. The statement all but concedes that Mr. Cain was involved in a sexual relationship with Ms. White.
I have highlighted the key words in bold for emphasis.
This is not an accusation of harassment in the workplace – this is not an accusation of an assault - which are subject matters of legitimate inquiry to a political candidate. Rather, this appears to be an accusation of private, alleged consensual conduct between adults - a subject matter which is not a proper subject of inquiry by the media or the public. No individual, whether a private citizen, a candidate for public office or a public official, should be questioned about his or her private sexual life. The public's right to know and the media's right to report has boundaries and most certainly those boundaries end outside of one's bedroom door.
Such a shame. I really had hopes that he would be a contender for U.S. President Barack Obama.
Soul legend Mary J Blige performed an intimate concert at the sold out Tabernacle in support of her new album, My Life: The Journey Continues, in Atlanta last night. After the concert, she attended an after party at Luckie Lounge with her celebrity friends Monica, Jeezy, and Devyne Stephens.
This is why we LOVE Keri Hilson. At least one person in Hollywood isn't afraid of Beyonce and Jay Z!
According to celebrity blogger Miss Jia, Keri has once again shaded Bey -- and this time, she left no doubt as to her feelings for the "PArty" singer!
The latest Ultimate Diss occurred during the 2011 Soul Train Awards last week as Juicy magazine was conducting interviews with celebs on the red carpet.
The interviewer asked each celeb to do a verbal "drop" while holding up the current magazine, which featured Jay Z and Beyonce on the cover.
All the other celebrities complied with the request for a drop. But when Keri's turn came, she glanced at the cover and said dryly, "Yeah, who is that?" then she said, "No, I can’t do that. I’m sorry."
It should be noted that Keri went ahead and did the drop -- without holding up the magazine. At least Keri was polite and gracious while declining to acknowledge Beyonce, which she is within her rights to do.
Singer Akon joined his mother Ms. Kine, President of Akon's Konfidence Foundation to distribute 300 holiday turkeys to Atlanta families in need in partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs Of Metro Atlanta yesterday.
Singers Justin Bieber, 17, and Usher, 33, performed this morning on NBC's "Today" in the TODAY Plaza in New York City. Justin is still struggling with his post-puberty voice change. But his fans don't seem to care about his voice.
A brawl inside a Snellville Walmart sent a teenager to the emergency room with facial lacerations and fractured teeth -- and it was all captured on video.
The trouble started when a woman walked into the Regal Nail Salon inside Walmart and became irate at the prices. She spent the next half hour cursing at the staff and customers. The fight started when the woman's daughters exchanged words with the child of another customer.
"And from there, it was off the chain," a witness told Channel 2 Action News. "Bowls were flying, glass was flying, hair was flying, braids was flying, weaves was flying, everything was flying."
A flying porcelain bowl struck 17-year-old Ashley Corbett who was waiting to get her nails done.
"As I headed toward her, all I could see was just blood," Corbett's mother, Gail Dudley, told Channel 2. "She opened her mouth and her teeth were shattered."
Witnesses say the woman who threw the bowl fled the salon. Police are searching for the woman.
Singer Akon just tweeted this pic of himself giving back to his community here in Atlanta. He tweeted, "Feels good to feed 500 families this year for Thanksgiving. Thanks to the YMCA Lakewood for their support!"
Meanwhile, 10,000 people In South Los Angeles are expected to benefit from the 23rd annual Turkey Dinner Giveaway by the Jackson Limousine Service being held today.
Celebrity blogger Tami of Talkingwithtami.com got the chance to interview R&B Diva Monica at Sam's Club on Clairmont Rd in Atlanta yesterday.
Monica was there to give back to those less fortunate by participating in a meet & greet during the store's annual “A taste for you” event that is also held simultaneously at Sam's Club stores nationwide. Customers were invited to meet Monica and to sample a variety of gourmet holiday foods.
Sam’s club also donated $1 million dollars to support child hunger programs through Feeding Americal, the nation’s leading domestic hunger relief charity. Atlanta Community Food Bank received $75,000 from Sam's Club.
After signing autographs, Monica took pictures with Sam's Club staff, including store Manager, Mike Jones, and her mom, Rev. Marilyn Best!
According to Tami, Monica became involved in the efforts to help raise awareness of child hunger after Mo discovered one of her sons sneaking food out of the house to feed a hungry classmate.
Here are more pics from last night's 2011 Soul Train Awards held at the fabulous Fox Theater in Atlanta. These pics are courtesy of celebrity blogger Tami of Talkingwithtami.com who took better pics than the so-called professional photographers.
How embarrassing that singer Miguel looked prettier than most of the females on the red carpet?
The Soul Train Awards 2011, hosted by comedian Cedric the Entertainer, took place last night at the Fabulous Fox Theater in Atlanta. The event also coincided with the 40th anniversary of Soul Train, the longest-running musical program of its kind on television. Numerous celebs, past and present, graced the red carpet, which was hosted by RHOA's Cynthia Bailey, pictured below left with singer Marsha Ambrosius.
Rapper Common held a listening party for his latest album, The Dreamer, The Believer, in Atlanta last night. The ATL's industry glitterati rubbed elbows with celebs such as Keri Hilson, Ne-Yo, Jeezy and more!
If you didn't know the Soul Train Awards 2011 was being held tomorrow night at the Fox Theatre, don't worry, you're not alone.
Vivica's former boy toy Slimm, right, and his business partner Mr Plush, left, of Plush Blue Entertainment, along with Upper Echelon Entertainment brought socialite Amber Rose and boxing champ Floyd Mayweather to Atlanta to kick off the Soul Train Awards weekend at Havana nightclub last night. Yes, former RHOA cast member, Lisa Wu, is still considered somewhat of a celeb around these parts.
Police are investigating whether online "Twitter beef" led to the shooting death of a popular 25-year-old man at a Southwest Atlanta apartment complex early Sunday morning.
According to the Atlanta Journal, Kevin James Scott, 25, was shot twice in the chest by an unknown assailant and left to die in a 4th floor hallway of the City View apartments in Mechanicsville. Police responded to a 911 call at 259 Richardson Street around 3 a.m.
Scott was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he later died.
Scott was affectionately known as "Big Kevin" to his many friends and family. His brother, "Westside Chris", is a well-known businessman and close associate of superstar rapper Jeezy.
Within hours of the shooting, friends of Scott took to the social networking site Twitter.com to tweet their condolences and to rage at the senseless violence.
His friends say Scott and a local man argued back and forth on Twitter.com just hours before his death. At one point, Scott tweeted code words revealing his location, and he seemed to taunt the man who later deleted his Twitter page.
A remembrance event will be held for Scott on Friday, Nov. 18, at Cream Bar & Bistro at 1919 B Metropolitan Parkway in Atlanta, according to club promoter Tracye Bryant of KBD Entertainment. Also, a candlelight vigil will be held in his honor tomorrow night (Thursday, Nov. 16) at Mays high school.
Anyone with information about the killing is asked to contact APD at 404-546-4235 or Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477.
According to the Fulton County Sheriff's office, James Lackey, the younger brother of R&B crooner Usher Raymond, was arrested on Oct. 26, 2011 and charged with cruelty to children, domestic violence and reckless conduct.
Our confidential source informs Sandrarose.com that Lackey was arrested for beating his baby mama and their baby! Our source wrote:
JLack = JWhack! Dude beating baby Mom and his own BABY! Dude make Chris Brown look like Ghandi! Yooooooo!!!!!!
Lackey's older brother, Usher, didn't seem too concerned for the little fella. He let Lackey sit in jail for two days before paying his $5,500.00 bond. We'll update this story with more details as soon as we get any.
R&B singer Monica dismissed rumors that she is carrying husband Shannon Brown's baby. The Diva spoke to Global Grind last night during the ASCAP Rhythm & Soul 3rd Annual Women Behind the Music series at Tenjune in New York.
When Monica was asked if there were any future baby plans for her and basketball hubby Shannon Brown, she said:
"Absolutely I'm young, he's young and we want to have that between the two of us, but right now we are enjoying the three that we have blended together. We have little Shannon, we have Rodney and we have Romello. So we are enjoying the three of them right now."
On married life as a basketball wife:
"I always say 'I'm Shannon Brown's wife'. I don't look at the title of what he does, basketball, as the leading ideal of what I am as a wife. Because no matter what career path he chooses, I'm his wife, not a basketball wife.
I just look at it like we have two different jobs that are some times complex, but wanting our marriage to work it's easy for us to prioritize and do what we need to do."
Last night's event honored Mona Scott, Monica and celebrity manager Phillana Williams with a special performance by Bridgette Kelly.
Troubled singer Chris Brown continues to cheat on his girlfriend, Karrueche Tran. Clearly he has a type (LSLH and blissfully clueless). His newest victim catch is Brazilian model Suelyn Medeiros. The two bonded in his hotel room recently as they made funny faces for a friend's camera. Chris held Suelyn tightly and passionately after a romp in the sack.
Troubled reality personality Kim Kardsashian was spotted walking aimlessly around the set of Tyler Perry's new movie, Marriage Counselor on the first day of filming in Atlanta yesterday. The NY Post reports that hundreds of outraged fans flooded Tyler Perry's website with angry messages asking the famed director to remove Kim Kardashian from the cast. But Tyler told TMZ that Kim is the only reason anyone cares about his movie and she will not be fired.
Undaunted by the controversy, Kim appeared to be going over her script. It isn't clear if Kim can even act her way out of a paper bag. (Tyler must know something that we don't.) According to Splash News, the movie location was "extremely secure" with her security guard on a complete lock down. Security and set workers tried their best to keep the reality star hidden as the entire outside of the studio was covered so paparazzi and fans would hardly be able to see her. Kim will be actually giving advice on marriage to her co-star (actress Jurnee Smollet) as part of the plot.
After reading a few disrespectful tweets criticizing her youngest son, Domani, for following in his daddy, T.I.'s footsteps, LaShon Dixon took to her Twitter page to respond intelligently to the haters. LaShon let them know that the 10-year-old rapper is allowed to follow his dreams because he has exceeded both of his parents' expectations of him.
LaShon pointed out that her son has perfect attendance at school, is a honor student, respectful, and a talented "illustrator and lyric writer". And I might add that his speech is near perfect. So leave the boy alone! At least he's not in the streets gang bangin'.
Listen to Domani's first track, "Stacks On Deck", after the break!
On Oct. 19, a little birdie whispered in our ear that Slimm and Aunt Viv were no longer following each other on social networking website Twitter.com. So we called Slimm for confirmation that same day.
At first Slimm acted surprised. Then he dismissed the rumor, saying, "Everything is fine." Still, the rumors persisted. So we mentioned the break up in this post on Oct. 24.
Slimm finally confirmed the rumor yesterday -- but not to the urban blogs that supported him all this time and even helped promote his parties here in Atlanta. He runs to a random gossip blog that nobody's ever heard of.
We put the blame on Vivica for not knowing that, at her age and with her money and status, no young man wants to date her for her looks or her personality.
Why muddy the waters with talk of commitment and having babies when you know the relationship is purely physical?
Troubled singer Rihanna performed a rescheduled concert in Sweden last night, 48 hours after seeking emergency medical treatment at a hospital. The 23-year-old Bajan reportedly experienced dizziness and nearly collapsed during rehearsals for a concert in Sweden on Monday. She was rushed to a hospital where she was hooked up to an IV and given fluids to rehydrate her.
As we reported previously, a source close to Rihanna's camp reached out to Sandrarose.com months ago when Rihanna's drinking and drug use was getting out of hand.
"Rihanna is running on empty but she's still been going out drinking and living it up," a source told London's The Sun publication yesterday.
Shortly after she tweeted a photo of herself receiving an IV infusion on Monday, Rihanna's camp released a statement claiming the "Cheers" singer had a bout of the flu and she was hospitalized for "extreme exhaustion."
But there is no such medical diagnosis as "extreme exhaustion." That is a terminology usually used to mask the real reason for a hospital visit.
Meanwhile, Rihanna's boss, 'X Factor' judge, LA Reid, reached out to his troubled star with text messages and flowers sent to her hotel. Reid, the Chairman & CEO of Epic Records, is catching flack from industry sources who say he still isn't doing right by his former friend, Shakir Stewart.
On Nov. 1, 2008, Stewart put a gun to his head and took his own life in his bathroom, just one day after flying home from New York to take his children trick or treating. He was 34.
Ignore all those breathless Stan reviews of the Kanye and Jay Z Watch The Throne opener in Atlanta last night. A loyal reader who attended the show told Sandrarose.com that the tour's 1st stop in Atlanta started 2½ hours later than the 7:30PM time stamped on the tickets.
The sound system was crappy. The show was not sold out as some Stans have reported. And once it became evident that the show would not sell out, the tour's promoters dumped hundreds of tickets on radio stations to give away.
When the rappers were finally announced at 9:00PM, the announcement was met with a round of boos from the audience, some of whom spent upwards of $450 for their tickets.
WTT continues with a 2nd show at Philips Arena tonight before moving on to Greensboro, NC on Oct. 30.
Cobb County police have apprehended the man who kidnapped, raped and robbed a CVS customer in Austell last week.
Sheriff's officers and U.S. Marshalls arrested Darrious Mathis near Greenbriar Mall shortly after 10:30 a.m. Friday. The 21-year-old is charged with hijacking [a] motor vehicle, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, kidnapping, rape and aggravated sodomy.
Police said the victim had just walked out of the CVS Pharmacy at 800 East-West Connector in Austell at about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, when she was approached by the suspect. Investigators said he forced the woman into her vehicle and had her drive him to an unknown location where he raped her.
Police said the suspect then had the woman drive him to several ATM's in the metro area and forced her to withdraw money from her bank account.
At some point during the crime, the suspect got out of the victim's car and ran away on foot.
Cobb County police are hunting a black man who kidnapped, raped and robbed a woman just after she left a CVS drug store in Austell early Tuesday morning.
Police say the 24-year-old woman was leaving the CVS on 800 East-West Connector in Austell when she was approached by a man with a handgun around 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 25. Austell is a suburb northwest of Atlanta.
The man ordered the woman to drive him to an unknown location where he raped her. Afterwards, he forced the woman to drive him to several ATM locations where he withdrew money from her account.
After robbing the woman, the man fled on foot. The attacker is described as a light skinned black male with short dreadlocks. He stands about 6 feet tall and weighs about 180 pounds.
"This is a very dangerous individual, and Cobb County police are very concerned," said spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce. "We need the public's help in identifying him so we can safely take him into custody."
Police asks that anyone with information call (770) 499-3945.
The Scream Tour starring Mindless Behavior, OMG and Diggy Simmons rolled into Atlanta on Sunday, Oct. 23.
T.I.'s son, Domani, made his rap debut onstage under the stage handle, G-Money. The 10-year-old kicked his rhymes while his proud daddy looked on. Also on the bill was T.I.'s oldest daughter, Zonnique, 14, who is a member of the popular R&B group OMG Girlz (below).

Tennis star Serena Williams doesn't understand what all the fuss is about her hair on the blogs. Besides the fact that she wears a ton of weave, it is highly unlikely that any scalp abnormalities (such as alopecia) would show up through all of that Yaki. But Serena is extremely delighted that her name is once again on your lips. Serena was spotted as she arrived at BOA Steakhouse in West Hollywood, CA, last night.
Toni Braxton's sister, Towanda Braxton, visited the set of BET's 'The Game' yesterday in Atlanta, where she posed with director Bille Woodruff. Woodruff directed the first episode of the upcoming season of 'The Game' yesterday.

Ten New Birth Baptist Church parishioners lost more than a million dollars after investing in a company endorsed by Bishop Eddie Long, according to a lawsuit filed Wednesday in DeKalb County state court.
The suit charges that in October 2009, Bishop Long held a 3-day investment seminar at which he introduced City Capital Corporation's then-CEO, Ephren Taylor to his congregation. Church members were encouraged to invest their hard-earned cash in the company, attorney Jason Doss told the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
"I am responsible for everyone I bring before you and what they say," Long said at the seminar, according to the lawsuit. "The gentleman that I am going to bring before you is an ordained minster. That gives me great pride to bring him for you."
Long was probably aware of the impending litigation when he uploaded a video to YouTube on Feb. 2, 2011 pleading with the investment company to "do what's right" and return the invested money with interest.
He claimed neither he nor the church benefited financially from City Capitol Corporation.
But both the church and Long were compensated for their roles in soliciting the investments, the lawsuit contends.
