Rihanna, Behind the Scenes of “We Found Love”

According to our Def Jam source, the music video for Rihanna’s latest single, We Found Love, drops this week. That should be exciting news for Rihanna’s Navy. Over the weekend, Rihanna tweeted a behind-the-scenes video for “We Found Love”.

She tweeted:

“We’ve never done a video like this before. This is probably one of the deepest videos I’ve ever done. #WeFoundLove. Its all about love and love being like a drug, you definitely get that from this. #WeFoundLove. The good feeling of love and the dangers of it. That’s what this video is about. #WeFoundLove #UNLOCKED http://on.fb.me/qytYE2

We find it interesting that Rihanna likens love to a drug, especially since we covered addictive personalities and the brain drug Dopamine extensively in our Medical Minutes. Dopamine is responsible for the highs and lows that we feel when we think we’re in love. Read more on Dopamine and addictive personalities here and here.

She also cleared up the rumor that she was back with ex-boyfriend, Matt Kemp, after pics surfaced of the two together in London last weekend. In response to an article in Sister2Sister magazine, Rihanna tweeted: “We’re friends lover. Plz.”

Miranda Brooke – Hater

Rihanna lookalike Miranda Brooke pours out her heart in this music video for her debut single “Hater”. Miranda plays a stylist who catches her photographer boyfriend cheating with a fashion model. Miranda was signed to Def Jam Records by Akon’s brother Bu Thiam. She is a refreshing young talent, who, we’re told, has not an ounce of attitude or drama. That’s why we’re throwing our full support behind her!

Everybody Hates Beyonce

Last night, before hitting the sack, I logged into my Twitter.com account to see what I missed since I don’t live on Twitter. It warmed the cockles of my heart to see more than half of my timeline going IN on Beyonce’s “Countdown” music video, which premiered yesterday.

You can bet that Beyonce saw these tweets last night as well. I once had dinner with an insider who works very closely with Bey. She told me how sensitive Bey was to criticism.

Normally, these followers are Stans of Beyonce who worship the ground that she spits on. But not last night. I was so proud of the youngsters for shunning the narcissistic Bey and her boring, overhyped music videos. Her videos are mostly ripped off from other artists anyway. Finally, the children get it!

Behind the Scenes: Trina on the set of “Red Bottoms” music video

Trina was spotted on the set of her latest single “Red Bottoms” in South Florida recently. According to a source close to Ttina’s camp, she is ballin’ and making sure that her entire team is stuntin’. I asked “with what money,” since she hasn’t had a hit since the late 1970s. My source also assured me that Trina is 100% natural with no by products or fillers such as silicone or industrial strength caulk.

Beyoncé – Countdown (sneak peek music video)

This video teaser for Beyoncé’s single “Countdown”, off her ’4′ album, leaked online yesterday. The vividly colorful imagery distracts from the fact that Bey looks as plastic and artificial as she ever has. Does false pregnancy do that to a woman?

Keyshia Cole’s mom Demonstrates The Frankie Leg

According to Freshalina of Crunktastical.net, R&B singer Keyshia Cole’s biological mom, Frankie Lons, filmed a video for her new dance single called “The Frankie Leg” — just before jetting off to Hawaii to attend her daughter’s second wedding to husband, Booby Gibson. Keyshia and Booby had a second wedding for their new reality series that comes out in the Fall. Their first wedding was held in Las Vegas a few months ago.

Frankie showed the youth her fancy footwork, and she also schooled the youngsters about respecting their elders. That message seems to be lost on our youth of today who have no respect for their elders or themselves. It’s good to see Frankie doing so well.
