Obama Cracks Under Pressure; Loses his cool when he thinks his mic is turned off

U.S. President Barack Obama is known for his famously unflappable demeanor. But yesterday the commander-in-chief lost his cool with a reporter when he thought his microphone was turned off.

This is the second time in 6 days that Mr. Obama spoke his mind while his mic was still hot.

Obama, who is biracial, showed his black side following a tense interview with Dallas TV reporter Brad Watson. Mr. Obama unclipped his mic before glaring at the reporter and saying, “Let me finish my answers next time we do an interview, all right?”

Obama might have been ticked off at Watson for asking such leading questions as, “Why do you think you are so unpopular in Texas?”

The president, who is obviously feeling the heat, is under pressure to box out the GOP’s leading frontrunner, Donald Trump, in the 2012 elections.

Obama forgets where he met his wife (he sure is forgetful)

Barack Obama has an annoying tendency to plug holes in his memory by telling blatant lies. For instance, while delivering a commencement speech at an economics school in Moscow, Russia yesterday, Barack couldn’t recall exactly where he met his wife Michelle — so he just made something up like he always does when he’s at a loss for words.

Barack told the students that he met his future wife in class at Harvard:

“I don’t know if anybody else will meet their future wife or husband in class like I did, but I’m sure that you’re all going to have wonderful careers,” he said.

The only problem is, the former Michelle Robinson graduated a year ahead of Barack.

But the truth is that the couple met not “in class” but at a law firm in Chicago, Sidley Austin, in 1989. Obama was a summer associate (essentially a legal intern) there and Robinson was an attorney completing her first year at the firm. Both attended Harvard Law School, but Michelle graduated in the spring of 1988, while Barack Obama did not arrive at the Cambridge, Mass., campus until that fall.

It was unclear what prompted Obama’s confusion or lapse of memory, though he does have the excuse of jet lag. It was about 4 a.m. in Washington as he spoke.

Jet lag? One would think this was Obama’s first overseas trip where he had to speak before a large audience.

Maybe Obama forgets important details in his personal history because of all that weed he smoked in college? Didn’t Obama “forget” how many years he was married Michelle too?

Obama’s Credit Card

Barack Obama is asking Congress to pass a credit card reforms bill that would strengthen protections for Americans who are behind on their credit card bills.

A few of the restrictions being placed on what Obama calls “abusive credit card practices” are: a ceiling on credit card interest rates, a 30-day advanced warning before raising interest rates, and requiring CC companies to mail bills at least 21 days before the payment is due instead of the 14 days as they do now.

The reforms in Obama’s bill are expected to save Americans $15 billion each year on penalties and fees. “This is not free money; it’s debt,” Obama said. “And you shouldn’t take on more than you can handle.”

Another Campaign Promise Broken By Obama

Barack Obama’s long forgotten Hope & Change platform has collapsed under the weight of all his broken promises. During the campaign, Obama promised not to repeat George Bush’s military transgression in Afghanistan of “just airraiding villages and killing civilians” because he didn’t have enough troops there.

Well, now that the Obama administration is “just airraiding villages and killing civilians” in Afghanistan — you don’t hear a peep from the liberal media:

Villagers dug dirt graves Wednesday to bury what the international Red Cross said were dozens of Afghans – including women and children – killed in American bombing runs. A former Afghan government official said up to 120 people may have died.

If so, it would be the deadliest case of civilian casualties since the 2001 U.S.-led invasion.

Obama Blooper Reel #3: Embarrassing Teleprompter Gaffe

This should put an end to all that nonsense about Barack Obama being such a great public speaker. Apparently Obama is only as great as his teleprompter — when it doesn’t get ahead of him, that is.

In typical fashion, Obama and his teleprompter are blaming each other for the screw up. Obama has yet to address the gaffe publicly, but we’re sure there was some furniture moving in the Oval office when he got back there yesterday.

Here’s what Obama’s teleprompter had to say about the mishap on it’s blog yesterday:

I cannot believe the level of incompetence I have to deal with on a daily basis. If it isn’t the cold hand of my operator, it’s Big Guy not moving his lips fast enough to keep up with my text. I can say this much: there’s no truth to the rumor that swine flu had anything to do with my scroll this morning. Would it be possible to blame President Bush for this too?
