Monique Upset With Oprah
Oscar winning actress and comedienne Mo’Nique is not very happy with talk show maven Oprah Winfrey right now. As you know, Mo’Nique’s brother Gerald Imes appeared on Oprah’s show on Monday where he recalled molesting his younger sister when he was a teenager.
Siblings molesting each other is nothing new to the black community. For most black families it’s a shameless secret that no one wishes to discuss publicly. Rarely does the police or social services get involved since the acts of incest often go unreported until the young victims confide in outsiders.
When I worked as a nurse at a juvenile facility, roughly 50% of the detainees there were incarcerated for molesting their younger sisters and brothers.
But according to Radaronline.com, Mo’Nique denies the molestation ever ocurred — at least not the way her brother recalls it.
Winfrey – who also suffered sexual abuse – wanted to make sure that the Precious star fully understood what her estranged brother would say after he originally approached her to appear on the show. On the show – which aired on Monday – Imes confirmed that the molestation continued for a year or two, starting when he was 13 and Mo’Nique was 7 or 8.
But Mo’Nique believes her brother lied on the show and didn’t convey the full extent of what he did to her. As a result, her relationship with her brother and her parents, who also appeared on the show, is worse than ever.

FanMAIL: Surprise, Tyler Perry’s New Leading Man is HUD
Prior to the success of his latest film, Why Did I Get Married Too?, playwright and director Tyler Perry announced his leading man for his latest project, ‘Colored Girls’: Isaiah Mustafa. Perry met Mustafa on the Oprah show last week, and agreed to cast him in the film.
Mustafa is a former NFL player whose Old Spice commercial became an instant YouTube viral sensation, garnering over 6 million views in two months. It should be obvious that Mustafa is “How U Doin” just from the commercial, but of course, it isn’t to most women who always miss the signs.

Well, you knew it had to happen (because it’s so painfully obvious): a loyal reader has evidence that Mustafa bats for the other team.
Well, after seeing Oprah on Friday and watching the viral sucess of Isaiah Mustafa for Old Spice ad I have found out that he used to work at the famous West Hollywood gay spot, The Abbey …. He was quite friendly and didn’t mind the love pats he got on that huge ass of his….. LOL. I am riding a horse backward…. Good Practice and this girl he is taken by is a beard, a lezzbo from the club …. He should be really good in Tyler Perry’s new movie For Colored Girls
So he is smelling like a man and a manly man and looking like a bunny.
I find it interesting that nearly all of his leading men are either gay or bi. I take it that Tyler casts his leading men based on the type of men he prefers: thuggish, cute, young, impressive abs, biceps, azz; or a combination of all these physical attributes.

Oscar winner Mo’Nique doesn’t look too thrilled after winning the best supporting actress trophy on Sunday night. The next day she was seen leaving the Oprah Winfrey Show which is taping in Los Angeles. Her husband Sidney Hicks seemed happy to hold onto her Oscar as they headed to their waiting limo. Hopefully, Oprah asked Mo if her husband was bisexual and if that’s the reason their marriage is so wide open. And why is it we never see any pics of their twins?

Wyclef On Oprah: ‘Put me in charge of the Haiti airport’
Singers Rihanna, Maxwell and Wyclef Jean appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show today to talk about relief efforts in Haiti after the devastating earthquake.
As usual, Wyclef Jean tried to make the show all about him, saying, “I’m from Haiti. I’m willing to go to Haiti. I need a task force and if they put me in charge of the airport with the U.S. I can help facilitate… get the stuff to the people.”
Why would the U.S. put Wyclef in charge of anything when he couldn’t even run his own charity organization, Yele Haiti?
After witnessing him demoralize and put down former Fugees lead singer Lauren Hill right in front of me back in 1996, I have a very low regard for Wyclef (as I do for all narcissists). He thinks everything is about him.

Tyra Banks Bites Oprah Again; Says Goodbye To Talk Show
Talk show Diva Tyra Banks is biting Oprah again after Oprah made a headline grabbing announcement that her popular talk show would end its run in 2011 (two years from now).
Tyra, who has been accused of biting Oprah’s ideas such as her popular “favorite things” show, is now announcing the end of The Tyra Show.
“This will be the last season of The Tyra Show,” Banks tells PEOPLE exclusively. “I’ve been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms, hair salons for the past 5 years.”
Wrapping at the end of its fifth season in the spring of 2010, it will be lights out for the show that brought viewers memorable weave-exposing, cellulite-revealing and tear-jerking moments.
Banks will focus on the launch of Bankable Studios, a N.Y.-based film production company currently reviewing possible projects. Sticking to her mission, Banks aims to bring “positive images of women to the big screen,” says an industry insider.
“My next huge steps will allow me to reach more women and young girls to help us all feel as fierce as we truly are,” Banks says. Read More…
Apparently, Tyra misses life in general and is tired of the daily grind of a TV talk show. There’s no mention of her ratings as the primary reason for her show’s ending.

Chimp Attack Victim Reveals Disfigured Face On Oprah
Charla Nash, 56, survived an attack by a 200-pound chimp that left her without eyes, a nose or mouth. The attack occurred on Feb. 16, 2008 when the chimp’s owner, Sandra Herold, asked Nash, her friend and employee, to help her lure the agitated chimp named Travis back inside the house.
Nash also lost her hands and her left arm below the elbow. Nash was aware that photographers were prowling outside the Cleveland Clinic where she continues to receive treatment after last year’s much-publicized attack by Travis.
So she invited Oprah and her crew to the clinic to reveal her disfigured face on her own terms.
Nash wears a veil when she goes on daily walks so she doesn’t startle anyone. She told Oprah she can’t breath through her nose and she eats through a straw.
“I don’t even think about it,” Charla Nash said on Wednesday’s episode of “The Oprah Winfrey Show.” ”And there’s no time for that anyways because I need to heal, you know, not look backwards.”
Doctors told Nash two weeks ago she would never see again because she lost both her eyes. She said she doesn’t remember the savage attack and doesn’t want to know about her injuries. “It’s like less for me to worry about if I don’t know,” she said.
